There's wisdom from a young head. Shame there are only catholics, sufis, atheists and everything else except lovers of Jesus over here in this neck of the woods.

May I suggest that this may be a stumbling stone? In the Old Testament times, God said He wanted 10%. Jesus says He now wants it all (100%). Seek after Him in everything, and you'll find that everything then becomes much more than you anticipated.

I know there's a life after this one, but I want this life to mean more than just working for God. I want to meet someone whom I can invest in, not just for myself but for them too.

There is no greater thing that can be done in this life, other than working for God. You will receive satisfaction in this life for work welldone, and rewards in the next life.

As for someone you can invest in, they are all around you, the single mom who is struggling, the dad that is not allowed to see his children, the grandparent who is alone, the children whose parents work all the time, the man who is homeless, the alcoholic, the drug addict, on and on and on this goes, but I think you catch my drift.

I'm very introverted and stuff like that just reminds me of the 24/7 chaos I see on the news, which is why I barely watch it anymore. And call me selfish, but I'd rather have someone who makes me feel alive with happiness rather than dead with sadness.

A few months ago,I was faced with a calamity so devastating that I knew I would loose everything. I can remember coming up to an intersection and slowing down,looking up I asked the lord "dear Lord,what will I do? whats going to happen?"

He replied "I AM WITH YOU"

Les Brown stumbled onto that very principle at an early age.

He calls it "poisonous,vs nurturing relationships"

I wish I had had that wisdom,instead of stumbling around with the wrong people.

Well, basically, Jesus disguised Himself as a friend of mine named Tess, and came to me with some things only she seemed to be willing to say to me at the time. No, it wasn't Jesus' direct face, but He was in every word she spoke.

About wishing you had it together as we seem to;

I literally went home fell on the ground and started crying today.
I can hide that and make it seem like u have it all together, and I often do.

(Sorry for this ahead of time guys lol)
People here do not have it all together. We all struggle and stumble and many hide it.
You aren't the only feeling like you're breaking

I cry all the time. Everything hurts sometimes.
