Um.... That's a little disturbing. I think you are reading the book, right? Is that idea working for you as you progress through the book?
yeah, i am.
Its the only thing I've found or tried that has helped. I wish I'd have read it a couple years ago.

That might be a good point. But, maybe even further. Those here who have read the book, Eyes of Honor, that I tout so strongly, will recall that in the opening chapter, there is a section on understanding your own value, so that you can then value others.

I need to to read that book.

Have you come to the part yet about the man defending/guarding the painting in the art gallery?

I happen to think EVERYONE, male or female, should read it. Jon has made it about as inexpensive as he can, short of giving it away free. (And I will arrange that for anyone who honestly can't find $10)

Yeah I think so. Theres many folks on here who live with their fiance for years and never got married. And Ive met peeps who dont when believe that pre-marital sex is a sin in the first place.. So yeah it seems to me most people engage that way.

and this is why I believe all forms of birth control, condoms, ect should be done away with.
I think it should be the other way around --- i think birth control should be free and plentiful, pill, condoms, etc ... just my opinion

This isn't a very "comfortable" topic, and in my opinion, that is one of the reasons that many people who call themselves Christians are engaging in sex out of wedlock. The family isn't addressing it. The church isn't addressing it. Where else are they supposed to get it from? School? (that's a joke!).

More or less, yes.

the general consensus seems to be as long as its a loving and consensual situation its fine. I actually had this conversation, of sorts, with a youth pastor yesterday. His opinion was obviously unmarried people are doing it. As long as no one is living together openly and no one gets pregnant...no big deal.
A PASTOR said that?? No wonder everyone is living together! It's rotting from the top down.

No, I'm not. I'm a relatively (also read: painfully) slow reader and I keep finding myself re reading stuff I highlighted.

I don't believe kids should be considered bullets and they are more often punished than their parents or in most cases grandparents.

Just to curtail the amount of pregnancies, or to make it more convenient to bed-hop? Not the latter, I hope.

I agree with you. It's important to discuss it with your kid's. My sex Ed was public school and HBO.

Don't sweat that. This particular book SHOULD take months to go through....
Then it should be started again. I am rereading it right now for about the 6th time.
