This is why OBEDIENCE is so critical to manifesting the Kingdom of God. We come into obedience with the things of the Spirit and of God.
Cee, so troubling, WOW

Well, you say you do not follow Manifest Destiny preachers but you are preaching the exact same thing.

Do you know this sounds more like preparation for the anti-christ and his kingdom here on earth.

I wasn't talking to you. :)

But yes I agree the Kingdom in the believer. What happens when the believer follows the Spirit of God? His dominion flows through the believer into the world. As we know the love of God, we are filled with the fullness of Him. His dominion is His Kingdom. I am simply agreeing we need to disciple the nations like Jesus called us. What does that mean to me? Teaching them to walk like Christ. Following after Him and His Spirit. Whatever God is doing, that is what we should be doing. We are His Body on the Earth. Are we not called to follow Him?

Yes it is about redemption in Jesus coming to earth, the kingdom within the believer, not a new kingdom on earth.

Well I have not been unmasked, because I have never aligned myself with any particular doctrine aside from the eternal salvation of the believer and the power of grace to keep us as we abide in Christ.

Yes of course have been for many many years!!!

Because I believe I am eternally saved because of the work Jesus accomplished does not mean I follow these people. There are many solid preachers that teach the gospel and grace rightly divided.
Amen. That is good to know sister.
My problem with the group is an apparent dedication to weed out legalists, which
is anyone who disagrees with them. Even raising this question with them makes
you one, and worthy of being banned etc. for invented offences etc.

Some have left cc because they felt it was becoming dominated by this group,
and the group itself discussed how they would not tolerate people who expressed
a different position. To me it is all so odd and invented, because I have no malice
or bad feeling towards any of them, only I desire to document and understand their
theology and how it differs from traditional positions. But they literally hate this.

I wrote my conclusions in a blog. I was told constantly I did not know what they
believed yet here was a summary they could argue with, but the chose not to,
because it was actually correct. What an odd confusion and deception.

Are you a Manifest Destiny Sons of God person tooo!!!!

All about the supernatural to you, shaking head in sadness.

Cee, stay strong. Cessationism is doubt that manifests itself in a world view that has confirmation bias simply because belief dictates our experience. They say they don't see the Kingdom of God active and yet they do not believe it is active. So is it any wonder they do not experience things of the supernatural? How will they be healed, if they do not believe healing is for today? How will they prophesy if they do not believe prophecy is for today and there is no new revelation (as an excuse to not prophesy hope, encouragement and exhortation into people's lives)?

You see, there is a great irony in all of this. "According to your faith be it unto you." Their experience is dictated by their belief/faith and if they are not taking God at His word, their experience is one that denies Him. God says He provides in His word. Their experience? They think poverty is spiritual, they think money is evil, and they have a disdain for the wealthy. God says He heals all our sickness and diseases through Christ. Their experience? They don't believe healing is for today, they say, "You can't command the Spirit", they say healing is a sign gift or for the apostolic era, and does not happen anymore. So what is their reality? In need of God's deliverance but not believing His willingness to set the captive free.

People need to renew their minds, they need to repent. Believe, and they shall receive. Do they even desire that healing is for today? Prophecy? Signs and wonders and the Kingdom of God manifesting on the earth? If they desire it, they should ask the Lord if it is for today. They might just be surprised what they witness.

We are not here to create heaven on earth we are to proclaim the good news of salvation so that those who believe will not perish!!

It seems like it is troubling to you because you are thinking a physical Kingdom, but I am discussing a spiritual one.

If we have a King of France, what is his kingdom? It is where his dominion or his reign and rule is obeyed.

It is the same with the Kingdom of God. It is where His reign and rule are obeyed.

When we FOLLOW CHRIST, our Master, our King, we walk in His Kingdom. Jesus said the Kingdom of God was upon them. Why upon them, if he was talking about a physical kingdom? Because He wasn't. He was talking about where the will of God was fully obeyed. He ONLY did what God was doing.

You find the need to gossip about people who are not here to defend themselves. I have seen many discussions and it is NOT how you have painted them in my experiences. I for one don't mind you questioning, I have gone to lengths with you about Scripture. I have no problem at all. And this conclusion of they are "confused and deceived" isn't right either.

Okay, so you are saying we will convert all people on this planet to become believers, so this will bring the Kingdom of God on earth.

I think the other name for this is dominion theology.

Jesus said his kingdom is not of this earth remember.

Recreate Heaven on Earth? Jesus said here's how you shall pray! Thy Kingdom come on Earth as it is in Heaven. Thy will be done here! This is a literal Scripture, this isn't my doctrine. This is the actual words of Jesus!

The BIBLE actually says to preach the good news of the KINGDOM not the good news of salvation! It doesn't actually say that! Are we going to listen to Christ or to man?

We will convert all believers? When did I say that?

Scripture itself says, the Spirit of God will be poured out on ALL flesh. I am simply agreeing with Scripture! Do I think all will be saved? No, but I know God desires it! As far as bringing the Kingdom on Earth? I have told you I desire all men, but especially those who call themselves FOLLOWERS to Follow Him. Do you disagree?

Preaching the gospel of "SALVATION" focuses on converts.
Preaching the gospel of "KINGDOM" focuses on disciples.

We pray for this in earnest however know that not all men will choose this. It is not about recreating heaven on earth, Jesus could have done that the first time He came if that was the plan.

UnderGrace, you often shake your head in sadness when in reality it is quite sad the belief system you hold. A sick person is before you and you cannot heal them. A person is poor before you and you cannot truly help them. A person is demonically oppressed, you cower for you do not know the authority you have. A person is worried for their future, you cannot comfort them with prophecy.

These are all things the Lord has equipped believers to address. Yet in your paradigm you are helpless to set the captive free. Your heart may be moved with compassion but due to your doctrines you are ill equipped to help. You oppose fundamental tools for the edification of the body of Christ, and in evangelism to the world. You shake your head in sadness, but truly what is sad is a belief system that quenches the Holy Spirit and denies the power thereof.

I agree that I am born again, saved by grace through faith and Jesus abides in me.
That is what His word tells me to do, abide in Him.

The time of the apostles is done.

Opps, I think you have stirred up the hornets nest. Just wait for another 2 or 3 to join
the frey. They will in the end decide to disown you and say you should be dealt
with as an unbeliever because of your lack of faith.

At least nothing yet has become personal. Just waiting for that weapon to roll up.

Cower indeed, you make a lot of assumptions, His power is being conformed to His image.

You need to seek Him not the power He possesses thinking you can do signs and wonders.

Yes His will that all men shall be saved, but not so they could go to Heaven. But so they would be one with Him in Christ.

Remember, Jesus left not so men could go to Heaven, but so that the Spirit of God could come here!

But you know what His will is also?

In love 5he predestined us[SUP]b[/SUP] for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, 6to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. 7In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, 8which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight 9making known[SUP]c[/SUP] to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ 10as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.

Another Scripture about the will of God:

27And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because[SUP]g[/SUP] the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. 28And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good,[SUP]h[/SUP] for those who are called according to his purpose. 29For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.

And another one about the will of God:

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

And another one about the will of God (not being like the world)

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Notice all of these do not talk about salvation, they actually talk more about relationship and being conformed into Christ. THIS is the Will of God.

Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Yes God desires all to be saved, but also He desires to be known. And the will of God has a lot to do with our conduct towards Him as well. And that we might be His child. So yes, conversion is good, but Kingdom is where His Will is manifested, His purposes, and it's not just for heaven to come. It's also for this world now.

We pray for His will to be done here on earth.....what is His will ........ that all men shall be saved to eternal life which is to go to heaven and be with Him.

We pray for this in earnest however know that not all men will choose this. It is not about recreating heaven on earth, Jesus could have done that the first time He came if that was the plan.

I am just saying that in a mindset of Cessationism and of any of this silliness known as the "Apostolic era" a person is ill equipped to listen to the Lord's leading to operate in gifts He has given us. You diminish your effectiveness. Those examples were just examples, not you specifically. They are the reality of a person who holds to Cessationism.
