what do you do outside of TV/Internet/cell phone...really anything digital for fun?

This is just to have a friendly discussion of what our non-digital entertainment/activities we do to have fun.....sometimes I find that TV/Internet/Digital things bore me quite a bit.....and I enjoy rudimentary things like fishing, or sitting outside.....so what's yours?
 
- Daydreaming
- Reading books
- (If I have someone around a car): Going somewhere nice and then going for a walk
(Yeah I can walk here, but the neighbourhood gets boring eventually :p )
 
I enjoy camping (even though I don't get the chance to do it much) and hiking. I like fishing, we did that a lot when I was a lil' girl. Homemade slip n slides are awesome. I really enjoy exploring KC whether that's the city or the outskirts where it's beautiful natural scenery. I really like to be creative and crafty too.
 
I garden, can what I grow in my garden, play with the dogs and animals, feed the birds and squirrels (in winter, but in summer they can find food easily), fight with the pesky groundhog that keeps eating from my garden, go to farm markets to find foods I can't or haven't thought to grow, play in the greenhouse with my exotic plants.....did I mention I play in the dirt a lot?
 
I workout. I'll play basketball or really anything sports-related. I like to drive around at night and see the sunset. Umm I like to do pranks and I've also been known to write song parodies from time to time lol.
 
Pente is fun. Winning Pente is more fun. Walks/blowing stuff up is also good clean fun.
 
Go have teatime/coffee/.. with people, go to church talk to myself...I mean go out and meet people..hiking,reading,...
 
I like spending time with my family, hiking, shooting my guns:p, muddin (yeah, I know I'm way too old...lol), reading, hunting, outdoor life, and politics:p...oh...and learning languages.
 
Wow most of you guys are super active/exercise related stuff lol....Even though I eat right and am in decent shape, your responses of what you do make me feel sedentary lol....I guess I need to make more time for exercise... and less time chilling :)
 
I started this thread based off a convo in the thread "remember when __" and I responded how life was a little more complicated before the internet yet it seemed more fulfilling than compared to how the internet literally absorbs people now a days to where they are tethered to their digital devices like life support.....almost like a technological zombie apocalypse with no human/natural interactions anymore....I think your guy's hobbies are great to keep our "humanness" if you will and not just be 24/7 technology/digital stuff.....

Lol, I had to google Pente b/c I had no clue what it was....blowing stuff is really cool, especially in grade school science with coke and alka seltzer.....good times

I'm not familiar with muddin but if it's going "off-road" with a 4x4 SUV thing...yea that's awesome....only thing is over here some of the roads are so bad your posterior is sore after all the potholes/bumps/random ditches in the road.....i guess you could say were 24/7 offroading due to horrible roads and speed bumps at blind corners that make you scream uncle!....
