And your outspoken and independent. You will make any Godly man a fine wife.
Thank you, thank you, but I am really not in need of your praise. When you have finished with the personal remarks, please get to work on amassing the hopefully great number of Scriptures you are pretending exist to support your case. Thank you :)

I already did. You rejected it. I will let it stand as it be.

You have given none. The one you did give said nothing, absolutely nothing, about the surviving brother being married and therefore being instructed to take a second wife. Please accept your abject failure in this regard and try again. Thank you.

Our minds might not grasp it, but polygamy was biblically approved and as such common practice in days gone by.
God did not want his people to take a King. They whined like babies. The Lord said OK you want it? you got it! Here are the rules that go along with your desire that I said you shouldn't yield to.

God did not want slavery. The people wanted it anyway. The Lord said OK, you want it? you got it! Here are the rules that go along with your desire that I didn't ordain.

God wanted ONE man, ONE wife. The men desired more. The Lord said OK, you want it? you got it! Here are the rules that go along with your desire that I didn't ordain.

So yep, there will always be those trying to find technicalities to justify their desires that run counter to what God wants.

I disagree with everything you have said in this post.

And yet you can give no Scripture to support your opinion. Very telling.
I already did. You rejected it. And I told you I would stand pat right where I am.
Because you say this or that does not make it so. It just makes what you believe.
That is all.

I disagree with you and here is a scripture for you

1 Timothy 2:12
But I suffer not a woman to teach,
nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
Ugh! This attitude makes me vomit a little ......no wonder the world thinks christians are morons.

A plain reading of the Scripture you gave says absolutely nothing about the marital status of the surviving brother, so you can only assume that he is being told to take a second wife no matter how much you would like to pretend otherwise and stand pat in your falseness.

You have nothing to brag about or be proud of when Satan guides you to misrepresent Scriptures.

This is what you believe. This is not what I believe.
I will accept you for what you believe. It does not bother me that you believe the way you do.

Dear sister, didn't know if you peeked at his profile, but he is NOT a Christian. I pray he would become one so that he would show the love of our Lord and Savior!

I have faith in God. I have no doubt about it. And there is no fear in me for what I believe.
But thank you for your concern. It makes me feel good that you are worried about me.
