A good example would be King David.
The incident with Bathsheba and her husband, whom he had killed.
David repented. He didn't reject or deny the commandments he broke, but he repented. real repentance.
Then according to you this would be false...

Disobedience can happen 'in ignorance.....
but rejection is with 'known intent'.

Have you not read
John 20:23
Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.
can you be more specific...since neither you nor I are Christ ?

Folks who reject the Sabbath are like little children making excuses.

Parent: I told you to clean your room.
Child: I did clean my room.
Parent: The bed's not made.
Child: You didn't say to make the bed - you said to clean my room.

:D

Do you keep the Sabbath in the flesh or in the Spirit?
Which one?

why should it be ? David repented, he did not take a 'hard stance against God ? ignorance covers a wide field of error, it does not stop with disobedience or weakness of the flesh or any other human shortcoming you can think of.

Actually in real life - believers in Christ that know He is the our true Sabbath rest and these are the very ones "observing Him as holy" and obeying God's commands in the New Covenant. 1 John 3:23

The Sabbaths that are related to the Law have been fulfilled in Christ. The law with it's Sabbath keeping is a mere shadow of the real substance which is Christ Himself.

I have no problem with people esteeming one day over another but it has absolutely nothing to do with righteousness or finding true life as these are only in Christ Himself.

I have a problem with people that say "If you don't observe the Sabbath that is in the Law like I do - then you are NOT obeying God". That's a bunch of religious nonsense and is in fact really a perversion of the gospel of the grace of Christ.

Yes and that verse has nothing to do with the subject of the Sabbath and is simply more twisting and hoop jumping to avoid following the 4th Commandment.

No, the Savior is not a day of the week. sorry.
The Savior is a lot of things, including our only hope for justification.
But again, He is not the 7th day of the week.
That may sound good on Sun-day morning, but it is just political grand-standing.

see #1899....a statement you made.
I was conversing with someone other than you. So if you want to know why I replied what I said back to them for what they said to me then ask them why they said what they said to me first. Then we can go forward.
