Why do people keep on making multiple accounts (and start the exact same threads?)

oh well,

Because they need someone to agree with them? (Even if it's themselves.)

At least they unwittingly give us a heads-up of what threads to avoid.

You guys use a scary amount of medicine to fight off colds (especially scary if they make you drowsy! What's in them?)
Something that makes you sleep and a cough suppressant, acetaminophen, other stuff.

If I don't have to be doing something I generally only pop a Sudafed and vitamins when I'm sick, unless it's at the very start of it and I'm trying like crazy to keep from getting it in the first place.

It literally just took me forever to figure out how to get my stupid computer to reply to this thread...

My daughter turned 3 yesterday. I'm still not sure how I feel about this...

Thank you! I'll be fine, it actually did stop the coughing so that's good. This time of year between allergies and kid's, it's an expected experience. :)
Oh yes I remember that. I grew up in philly and southern NJ.

Yea they probably sell billions of dollars worth every year. It's usually just a combination of cough suppressant, pain reliever and fever reducer and antihistamine (for sneezing, runny nose). Or in pharmacy terms.. dextromethorphan (cough suppressant), acetaminophen (pain reliever and fever reducer - a.k.a. tylenol) and diphenhydramine or doxylamine (antishitamine). You could actually buy all those separately and acheive the same thing, but it would cost more and the doses might be too strong..

Dear Fenner: you are a wonderful person, or you seem to be from what I can tell. You are a blessing to this forum. But that was just disgusting, especially as I have a bag of pumpkin spice donuts right beside my computer. :p

I looked up the Steiner Waldorf schools. I've never heard of them. I don't know what to make of it. Not really sure I understand their method of teaching. It sounds sort of similar to Montessori but not quite the same.
I'm not sure where all they are, but I know there are a few in the US. I've thought about applying until I realized I would have to have additional schooling that at the time I couldn't afford. The one thing I think I remember about them is that they do not allow technology use in the lower grades and greatly discourage parents from allowing much of it at home.

I found out that Amazon Prime has free music if you're a Prime subscriber, so I've been downloading music on my phone. I told my Husband about it and he asked if what we downloaded would stay in the cloud and we'd both see what we downloaded. I didn't think it would because I have an I phone and he has an android. Well I guess it does show up because yesterday he couldn't figure it out and got what he considers stuck with my choice's all day. he he. He didn't know I liked 21 Pilots. I don't dislike them, I wanted to hear the album. He figured it out because when I walked the dog tonight he must have downloaded every Queen album. I like Queen, but every album?

I have enough Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir to last more than a full work day. I also have enough Hemphills and Hinsons to last more than a full work day. And don't even ask me how much Anointed (black hip-hop christian group) I have...

I sometimes have lemon and honey drinks. Other times, I have raw garlic with honey. Sometimes, I have ginger and peppermint teas with honey. I've also done a few salt gargles and a few drops of eucalyptus oil in hot water and put a towel over my head. I've had some vitamins and fish oil and I've eaten plenty of fruit and veg. And I drink lots of water. That's how I generally get over a cold.
