I've used the rescue sleep remedy or Melatonin, I like I get a good night's sleep with that. I've used it for my kid's on occasion as well. My Daughter has a difficult time sleeping, she's always been that way. Her Doctor reccomend half of the adult dose. She will sleep through the night.

Glad it was a good outcome.

melatonin did not work for me, simply for my pain factors, but hubby and I have found many
other herbs and such that will curb enough to get a good enough sleep for us...

of course, we should never 'eat' a late meal, as it will just lay there and cause all kinds of problems...we drink a daily 'bomb', our pet name for our as pure, healthy, get started for the day boost drink we can make in our Vita-Mix Blender -
the KEY to this is that most of the ingredients are 'home-grown' and full of the sun's very best
healing properties, + our Biblical Herbs...

Don't use electronic devices with bright white light backscreens like tablets/phone/laptop 30 min before bed....you will fall asleep sooner it's scientifically proven in studies!
I've done that....it doesn't work for me :/

I've been using Bach flower products since I was a kid, also good for healing cuts and sprains. I sprained my ankle a couple of years ago, the Bach flowers almost kept it from swelling at all. Very useful stuff.

I use a natural supplement that contains melatonin, valerian, and trytophan. It works really well, I get tired quickly but wake up somewhat groggy..

Bach is homeopathy. They use essences of florals to assist in healing. This is what the Bach site says:

Dr. Edward Bach discovered the Original Bach Flower Remedies which is a system of 38 Flower Remedies that corrects emotional imbalances where negative emotions are replaced with positive.

The Bach Flower Remedies work in conjunction with herbs, homeopathy and medications and are safe for everyone, including children, pregnant women, pets, elderly and even plants.

The Bach Flower Remedies is a simple system of emotional healing that is easy for anyone to use.

Melatonin does that to me too. It helps to drink plenty of water, though I cannot think of a good reason why it should be that way :p Also, sunlight breaks down melatonin, so going outdoors should in theory help

You're also on medication, which comes into the equation of why you'd end up with this reaction.

What's the name of this natural supplement?

I wanted to share a recommendation with you all. I personally just started using it and have found it to be fantastic for sleeplessness and anxiety. It's all natural ingredients and non addictive:

If any of you try it, be sure to let everyone know what your experience was or if you've found an alternative measure that helps with getting a good night's sleep. Cheers.

be careful about the esoteric doses sis..u dont wanna accidently take stuff thats evil...just sayin

Use some discernment Demi, this is natural, from God's earth, from His resources. It's got nothing to do with anything evl. If you want to look at evil and overdoses look at medication and some aspects of modern medicine. They give a huge amount of problems short term and can end a person's life prematurely. Going the natural route actually shows a learned respect for our body and mind. Do some research on the ingredients or whichever aspect of this product you don't think is appropriate and then come back and I'll go through it. Till then, this is a fantastic product that I 100% recommend.
