Can a Gay person be a True Christian?

No such thing as a "Gay" Christian. Either you are a Christian or you are gay. Nothing comes before Christ. All must be laid upon the altar of sacrifice to come to Christ. All includes the body, mind and soul.
Christ is all in all. There is nothing before and nothing to be added after.

Most people dont leave names. I leave initials and hit like on the comment so people know. But as long as Ive been here I still dont know if the etiquette is to thank people in the forum or not. So shout out to all the people who have ever rep-ed me. I dont know that I deserved it but thanks for the vote of confidence y'all. 
It does not matter what sin a person is addicted to. What matters is Jesus has called everyone to come follow Him, even the Gay's were called.
The problem is people's Pride in believing their sins are not as bad as the sins of their neighbors is what is the real problem! Yes a person CAN be Gay and heed the call from God to follow Him!

I am curious to know if you say the same thing about heterosexuals. It would look like this: There is no such thing as a heterosexual Christian. Either you are a Christian or you are heterosexual. Nothing comes before Christ.
Paul did say something similar, in that there is neither male nor female in Christ Jesus. Is that what you mean? It is problematic that people do not specify what they mean when they say such things. For instance, some people make it plain they mean practicing homosexual when they use the term, as if one cannot identify that way unless they were actually sexually active in same sex liaisons... as if somehow becoming Christian magically removes their sexual orientation and temptation from them. Do we think the same way about heterosexuals? Generally speaking, I don't think so, though some will claim we no longer sin as if we do not enter into a process of sanctification while such things are weeded out of our lives.

What verse says that "all must be laid upon the alter of sacrifice to come to Christ?" Why didn't Paul tell the Jailer this?
He laid it ALL upon the alter. It is believing or trusting in this that saves us. Not us laying out all we have. We don't even know what to lay out if we are not saved and don't have the Spirit.
NOW, laying it all on the alter before Christ...........that is advancing in the Christian way of life AFTER we are saved.
