In fairness, Trump fanatics don't hold what Trump says 5 minutes ago against him. Why would they be outraged if didn't pick anyone he listed?

I'd like to think he would pick someone libertarian-conservative, but I can envision Trump going with someone who isn't. However, I'd go for the guy that "might" appoint a libertarian-conservative than with the woman who surely will not.

Sorry to derail but why the name "Trump fanatics"? Hillary has enough scandals, told enough lies, has enough skeletons in her closet, without adding her husband, to call her people "Hillary fanatics". Its like people voting for Trump are mental cases and "normal" people are voting for Hillary. Its bias and its wrong. Not calling you out but the phrase Trump fanatics.

The term "Trump fanatic" is used for a portion of his supporters. I will be voting for Trump, but I am no way a Trump fanatic.

Trump fanatic: A Trump supporter who refuses to hold Trump accountable for anything he has done/said and instead denies and deflects to justify Trump's actions. They accept anything he says and takes it to the bank as gospel. They show an inability to express objectivity. see also: Hillary fanatic

There are several posters here who, like myself, will vote for Trump but aren't drinking the kool-aid that he is without error. They know he lies, they know he flip flops on almost every major issue, they know he is pretty moderate-to-liberal, they know he lacks transparency, etc... However, they also know Hillary is the greater evil.

A Hillary fanatic is the same thing as a Trump fanatic only their support is for Hillary. I think Hillary fanatics have to drink a lot more kool-aid than Trump fanatics in that her skeletons make Trump's look like child's play.

Well I have never heard the term applied to Hillary supporters. How did Trump get the vote from the delegates, I mean there were plenty of other choices.

There were 16 candidates which favored Trump (very diluted). Also, as in the other thread, Devon pointed out how a familiar name is what most voters pay attention to. The good man/woman that is relatively unknown doesn't stand a chance against a well known (infamous) candidate.

What are we holding Trump accountable for? Has he broken the law? Insider trading, lying to the FBI and congress. Using his foundation to enrich himself by selling influence as head of the state dept? What about tampering with evidence and obstructing justice....secret tarmac meetings with the head of the justice dept about a case against him? Seems to me that it would be more beneficial to focus on actual things that matter instead of whether or not Trump called Rosie Odonnel a pig.

What are we holding Trump accountable for?
A lack of transparency with his tax records. If I hired a plumber to do some work in my house, I'm not going to pick the first guy I see on craigslist. I'd go for someone who was certified (so I have recourse in the event he doesn't do his job correctly) and someone with a good reputation. We aren't talking about a plumber though, we are talking about the highest position in the world. I'd like to know if he, like Hillary, has conflicting interest with foreign entities. I'd like to know who he has donated money to (Plan Parenthood?). I'd like to know if he is truly trustworthy when he makes personal claims of his financial success.

Then there are the claims he's made from making the military commit war crimes if he ordered it to deporting all 16 million illegal immigrants. I noticed Pence did deny that claim to Kaine last night. I want him to keep true to his word about deporting ALL illegal immigrants, but it appears his VP is talking it back for him.

Let's not pretend that there is "nothing" to hold Trump accountable for. Yes, I would agree it's peanuts to Hillary, but that doesn't me it's not noteworthy.

Has he broken the law?
Who knows? Worst case scenario, he has broken laws but got away with it (ala Hillary). Best case scenario, he is hiding something he doesn't want the American voters to know. It's like Hillary's henchmen taking the 5th... Sorry, I'm not going to assume innocence.

You should help Trump prepare for his next debate against Hillary. This is exactly what Trump needs to do... deflect deflect deflect and attack Hillary on all the legitimate claims against her. His greatest defense is Hillary's skeletons. This doesn't make Trump innocent however, just less guilty...

I don't care who he calls fat. I care about much bigger fish like the concerns I, and other non-Trump fanatics, have expressed. You can bury your head in the sand and ignore the legitimate concerns people raise (not be objective) about Trump, it doesn't mean there aren't any.

what was it Hillary said?

half the people supporting Trump are deplorable if I remember right and then she gave an 'apology' afterwards to try and appease some rather angry people...even her own party said she went too far

the dems have now resorted to outright lies...forget the exaggerating...

she does like the phrase Trump fanatics because she just used it again in the other thread:

The fanatics will argue that Trump is well within his rights to not disclose any information. They are correct in that he's not obligated. They are incorrect in pretending it doesn't mean anything if he does/doesn't.
I'm thinking since it is so important to besmirch people, it might be good to just not bother to answer anymore

I've seen the arguments in this forum and who is in them...I hardly ever post here...but I know how it goes...and why the mods often intervene here...way too much baiting going on..you know? post something incendiary and that sit back and wait for someone to post and then act all goody two shoes when they answer you

right

Of course I like that phrase... just as I like and appreciate language in general. Without them, how do we communicate and express/describe ideas/thoughts? lol

They are both lying. A used car salesman would come across honest compared to these two candidates:p

Ok, I'm really getting sicker of my Christian brothers and sisters arguing unrighteously than the presidential candidates. There hasn't even been an election yet and it's already tearing people apart!
you should have thought about that when you stood with the candidate of division...while even the majority of -your party- was saying 'no!'...what did you -think- was going to happen? kumbayas?

Immunity deals stopped FBI from investigating BleachBit use in Clinton email case | Washington Examiner

"In a letter to Attorney General Loretta Lynch Wednesday, four Republican committee chairmen demanded to know why Cheryl Mills and Heather Samuelson, two witnesses who also served as Clinton's personal attorneys, were granted such expansive protections despite the FBI's awareness that they had participated in potentially illegal activities."

Maybe but you're on a fishing expedition dragging hooks across the bottom of a vast expanse while Hillary's fish just jumped in the boot. I saw that Trumps accountant for years came out and said that Trump doesn't do anything on his taxes but sign them. Kinda makes sense tho that with such a complicated tax code you hire someone to dot all your i's and cross your t's and whatnot.

We elected a person who has a background that is very fuzzy and filled with marxist anti constitution figures and mentors and a seeming intentionality in the weakening of the constitution and rule of law during his tenure, not to mention his esteemed secretary of state and the mess she has made of lots and lots of stuff....... and your chopping trumps head off for "potentially" donating to plan parenthood.

I believe that for all his faults, Trump loves America and doesn't want to see it die....which it might either way....but whatever.

If Hillary got an edge by cheating in the debate, her performance was even more appalling.

Ok, I'm really getting sicker of my Christian brothers and sisters arguing unrighteously than the presidential candidates. There hasn't even been an election yet and it's already tearing people apart! WE are supposed to be stronger than this. Why aren't we? We could argue both sides from here to eternity, but the truth is most have already picked their political candidate to vote for so the arguing is useless. Trump is no angel. He is not a good representation of a Christian and neither is Hillary. So what we have here is 2 spiritually ignorant potential leaders of what should be the most powerful country in the world. We could voted for someone else but we know that one of these 2 candidates will win. So how do we deal with it? Do we continue to slander them and each other or do we pray and have faith God will lead whoever wins? Quite few only in surprised people haven't already called either of them the antichrist yet.

Now, about Angela. She's a smart woman. She's a very spiritual woman and she's obviously bothered by both candidates. Even though she isn't American I'm not about to tell her to stay out of it. In my opinion, she has a right to express her opinion. It is her God given right. Not just an American right. I will also state that I do personally know many Canadians and all admit the media coverage of the candidates does have a left wing bias. Angela, is seeing what many see from a different perspective. It is neither right or wrong, but the info she is getting is not always the same as what many conservatives see. I've actually been to a Trump rally. I've been in his presence and was completely shocked when I'd see media coverage over "riots" that happened there when there was literally NO violence there at all. Secret service stopped it before it happened. Media sources talked about Trump wrongfully kicking protestors out that violated their constitutional right to protest but failed to mention it was actually a PRIVATE rally where you had to have a ticket to get in. He could kick me out for wearing ugly shoestring he wanted to. It was his right.
Anywho, all I'm saying is when we get info on either candidate don't EVER take it at face value. The general public is uninformed on many issues and the media knows this so they use our ignorance to manipulate us. Trumps taxes is one example. How many of us are accountants? How many of us know the tax laws? Im assuming very few if any. On the surface it looks like trump is evading taxes. The reality is many businesses report losses legally and do not have to pay a dime. These are laws congress put in place as well as the loopholes. Why blame Trump for using loopholes he is allowed to use? He beat the irs. No one likes the irs. My boyfriend is a businessman and reports losses to rental
properties he owns and pays NOTHING and has been audited and the irs found no fault. The tax issue is one example of the media playing us. Don't let the media win. Educate yourself. That's all i ask.
Thats the way It Is In the Christian news forum.
