I already posted Greek definitions for both agape and Phileo, there is no difference. What do I need to do, keep trying different dictionaries until I find the definition that lines up with what you want to believe agape mean? I'm sure if look hard enough I can make agape mean whatever I want it to mean.
Peter answered Jesus with Phileo all 3 times, what is the significance of Jesus using agape the third time. What great spiritual principle is this demonstrating?

That's a good question.
Maybe Jesus was meeting Peter at the level he was at when the Lord spoke this to him. Peter had not been born again yet in order to have the "agape" love of God poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit.
Peter did not possess the true "agape" of God at the time but will latter and the Holy Spirit would bring to Peter's remembrance the Lord's words spoken to him about "phileo" and "agape" love.
Perhaps the Lord was showing Peter he needed the love of God in him in order to do the things that he is called to do - like feed His sheep.

Surely you believe in unicorns don't you? God said unicorns exist.... So of course they did. Science just now caught up to this truth that has always been found in the bible. I think the NIV should admit that they were wrong for changing unicorn to wild ox in light of this latest scientific discovery.

I believe it has to do with Peter denying Jesus 3 times. Jesus gave Peter 3 more chances to prove his love of Jesus... This time under much less dire consequences.
Another catch phrase that people who can't answer the question says lol. I ask a plain simple question, you can't answer it so you call me a cultist... Go figure! I thought this was a bible discussion forum where questions are posed and debate follows.... Not name calling. So sad.

He does it for every language in the world when the manuscripts are translated into their language for them to discover Christ. The bible is a tool the Holy Spirit uses to reveal Christ to us and He does this in every language and in every time period throughout history.
He also gave us in this generation - seeing that most of us read - the capability to go and look at the original Greek and Hebrew as directed by the Holy Spirit when we are studying a passage.
I do not see any translation that is 100% accurate in all things. It is a "version" of what those group of translators think when they translated it. There can be a bias when translating because of their own personal religious beliefs or the denomination that they are affiliated with.
Many Greek words have multiple meanings which the one that the translator picked may or may not be what the Holy spirit is trying to tell us in a particular passage.
Anyway...I am out of this discussion as I have given my opinion and have nothing more to add that would be of any benefit.

What am I supposed to say dude? I believe what I believe from reading the bible. What answer are you're looking for me to give. I didn't meet an angel on the road, a spirit didn't download my believes into my mind, I didn't find glass plates with secret messages from God. I believe what I believe because of what I've read from the bible.

Yes, stop believing the Bible to be the infallible word of God. Be your own authority on what God has said. Search all the translations and Greek lexicons and you determine which words are right. You are absurd to think God can translate His words into another language perfectly and without error.
