Can we just say that the King James Version is one of the most accurate versions? People are free to choose whatever bible they want to read, but I'd rather stick with the more accurate ones instead of watered down versions. I'm not a KJV Only person as I also read the NKJV, but it's still an excellent version.
just curious but why doesn't any one pro KJV only address my comments directly?

No the KJV is the preserved infallible authorized word of God and if someone wishes to use another Bible then so be it but do not claim it is the "authorized version" unlike the KJV.
The KJV is fhe only non-copyrighted bible which means you can rewrite it word for word. Only that the royalty family has publishing "copyright" basically means that they need the permission of the King's family to do so. Doesn't make they alter anything or else clearly it would've been exposed.
Preserved? Preserved from 1611. Not very long time when you consider Jesus was here 2000 years ago.
Authorized? Authorized only by the King of England. that does carry much weight here in the United States.
The KJV is "authorized" in title only. It has no authority. And it is NOT God's Word. It's more like the watered down version of God's Word.
Have you study the New Age or mystery religions etc?
He may have said wrong things about God, but the KJV capitalized G in God. I checked NIV and they use small g.
The manuscripts were from the original and is the 2nd most sold version AFTER the NIV which is a mockery.
I believe God is speaking here to disobedient IsraelitesNot sure if you knew where I got that from but it comes from here.
Isaiah 28:9-10 KJV
Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.
[10] For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
CLV Lk 23:32 Now two others also, malefactors, were led to be despatched together with Him.
CLV Lk 23:33 And when they came away to the place called "Skull," there they crucify Him, and the malefactors, one, indeed, at the right, yet the other at the left.
CLV Lk 23:34 Now Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they are not aware what they are doing." Now dividing His garments, they cast the lot.
The word "judging" is not used in this story. It's not used in Matthew or Mark either. Neither is the word "condemned."
But if they were on the cross, that would mean they have already been judged, past tense. Verb tense is a very important part of Ancinet Greek.
_____Strong's_____
G2917 krima kree'-mah
from G2919;
a decision (the function or the effect, for or against ("crime")).
In the case of the two criminals on the crosses next to Jesus, their decision was already made.
I suggest that it is the KJV that is "messed up." And I am NOT messin with you.
What's your comment?just curious but why doesn't any one pro KJV only address my comments directly?
Ask your question, I don't skirt issues.THey never do and never will. I have a number of questions from years ago that no one has given me a direct answer to It is called skirting the issue, just like a politician will when given an awkward question.
I'm suprised you don't see the subtle changes in the NIV to make the Jesus of the KJV the New Age Jesus.Yes, I have some knowledge of them.
I hate to be the one to burst your bubble. But that is not true at all.
What "original" manuscripts do you think were used to make the KJV?
Actually, 85% of the KJV matches Tyndale's Tavern Bible exactly. Hey, who was going to sue the king of England for plagiarism?
No he doesn't. He says that Hezekiah's God can't deliver them out of his hand.probably because the pagan king there thinks of the being Hezekiah worships as just another god... so it would be reporting, not correcting.
in the story, does the Assyrian king tell the truth about God?
