I disagree with Ricky on almost everything political,
but any time we've traded PMs he's always been very loving and gracious.



It's heartening to see we can have healthy debate and still treat each other with some love and compassion.

Maybe we'll all get more than a lump of coal for Christmas.

I was serious about the prayer part,GOD Is love and he loves us all and I wouldn't be praying to GOD thinking HE wasn't recognizing whether or not I was approaching HIM like HIS child would and not talking like I was taking HIM for granted and as If I accidentally walked In on HIM.

God walked with Adam and eve in the garden. They didn't have to grovel before Him and say all the right phrases. Relationship is about being real and about your heart being at home. It isn't about some formula or checklist.

I'm not mad....just not very endeared to you.....you treated me poorly during the whole election thing....at least it felt that way. I trust people until they give me a reason not to and I must have a good reason because I'm not a jerk by nature.

Like you know your earthly father,right.And you know how he might react to something you say because you know him,but If you are talking to someone you don't know well,then you would be careful what you say to them until you get to know them.

If someone says any old thing to someone they don't know,they could get sucker punched where I'm from.

But If the person knows GOD,they won't approach HIM like they need to cover one eye hoping that HE doesn't get offended at what they just said.

NOW I get it. No I rarely have those moments where I think I should worry. And it certainly isn't when I pray for leaders of the country. Usually, it's when someone who claims to love me and are family, tries to hurt me or my little family that I get a bit testy and ask for things I shouldn't and say things out of anger and sometimes bitterness while talking with God.
But I do understand that while it is good to be open, there are times to be kneeling before Him and times to be walking with Him. (I like to literally walk and talk with God. It's nice. Peaceful and I listen better.)
I take prayer pretty seriously, if that's what you're worried about and I don't like to offend Him by praying in a place of sin. If I have sinned, I believe the only prayer I need to be saying and begging forgiveness, otherwise it's just stench to Him.
There isn't anything wrong with praying for bad people, leaders or otherwise. Prayers for their evil plans to fail, prayers for their change of heart and mind, prayers for their salvation, and prayers that the people around them make it through whatever evil may come from them.
