Some might see that as a lack of faith in certain situations.
Oh I don't know, maybe it is faith if you have faith in the bird in hand. You could have faith that the bird in hand won't fly away.

There is more than one way to skin a cat..

Meaning, there is more than one way to do anything. :)

One of the late night TV host asked a disturbing question: Who learned the first way to skin a cat?

I have to tell you all a disturbing yet funny anecdote about skinning cats. I attended a small school- elementary, middle, and high school all on the same campus. In my junior year, I took Biology II. Part of our curriculum was dissecting an adult cat. We had to literally skin our cats. The water hose was behind the cafeteria, so my group took our cat out to skin it under the water. As we were working, some elementary kids walked up to ask what we were doing. I looked up and told them "Oh, we're just helping to get lunch ready." Those kids' eyes got huge and they looked scared to death. Being heartless teenagers we just laughed and thought it was funny that the little kids thought they were going to eat cat burgers. I can't remember if we told them we were just joking or not.

No, I don't think it is lack of faith if the bird flies away. But I think you should test the bird, see if it will fly away, find out. That way you can have faith in it, that it won't fly away. Or, if it does fly away, maybe it will come back- like a homing pigeon.

I wish I could have a pet blue jay one that could fly around but never leave because it feels at home with me. Maybe in heaven I can but it will glow a pretty blue color like a lightning bug

I don't see why not. I think in Heaven, there will be many things we could enjoy that we couldn't here. Who knows? God is so good, He may let you have one. It should be a bluebird, though. Bluebirds stand for happiness.

On the bird and bush thing.

I'm inclined to agree unless the bush is in an aviary of some kind. Especially if the birds are male and female.

A snowbird in the Bush administration is better than a handful of them.

Even in an aviary, the birds in the bush can still fly away. Not every bird wants to get caught.

if you're carrying a weapon, and are a decent shot, the whole two in a bush thing could be..... dinner?

A wise women once said you try you fail you try you fail but the only true failure is when you stop trying. Today I felt so horrible and exhausted I literally said to God I'm done I have nothing more in me I can't keep going but as i'm sure you can guess father had other plans.

As much as sometimes I really want to give up and just fade into non existence i never truly can I always feel something inside me that keeps fighting a small little flame that refuses to burn out and I remembered these words today
