Hey everyone and Merry Christmas

The more I come into here the more fed up I get. Its impossible to have a normal discussion without it exploding into name calling and accusations.
New people who come here are disgusted by the ''lack of love'' from people here and the ''war zones". If they make a political thread, they get attacked. If they make a bible discussion thread or a few, they get attacked for ''that being their first thread".
People ask a serious question as they are hurt or whatever and what do they get? Go see a doctor and get some meds.. Seriously?
People ask a question like ''I hear God,how about you?" and people end up arguing and talking about the ''false doctrine" they think there is, instead of answering the question.
Not even talking about the ''how dare you create a thread like this on Christmas".

I am not so sure if this body of Christ here is the same that Jesus spoke of and taught about, it surely doesnt seem like it.

Just my two cents

I had so many ppl on my blocklist that i had to take people off from it as my newsfeed stopped moving :p

I guess you're experiencing the same thing that I and alot of other people have been experiencing here over the years. I used to be annoyed with the people saying things that I thought was wrong, but now I am more relaxed and don't pay attention to them anymore. My hubby has taught me alot about how to not care about others opinions;).

I dont mind agreeing to disagree but I find that some people are less mature than pre-schoolers which is sad. And that is absolutely sickening me. We have people here from all denominations and backgrounds. The body of Christ is supposed to have multiple parts to work together and function, not parts chopping one another off.

I know there's a whole lot of "I know you are,but what am I?" type of discussions. Before long you're in a full blown argument with them thinking "how did I let them draw me in?" smh. It seems theres a lot of false doctrine being spread,more than Ive ever seen before and they are militant about it. If you disagree they say horrible things.Then when you stand against them someone slams you for being rude.smh Really getting annoying.

Absolutely. Not even to talk about spirtiual warfare.
Martin Luther threw an inkwell at ''satan'' and was just ''arguing with him'' all the dang time. Then for a Lutheran to come in and say ''oh spiritual warfare troops'' and making fun of people....jeez thats just one example of stuff.
People getting told to take meds for hearing God? etc There is stuff going on in here that I just shake my head.

A lot of those people are very carnal and just like to sit there and cause conflict because that's all they know, some lack maturity both spiritually and mentally, and some are just trolls...I kind of just hang around the forums helping people with real problems, and not engaging with people who came on here to battle... so yea, don't get too upset, that's just how it is, and there are some pretty chill people on here you can talk to... and hey if push comes to shove you can always pull a GOP and fly around the forums posting stuff while completely ignoring all the negative posts lol.

lol Agreed. Still its a pain though in the long run. It bothers me for the people who are new to the site and/or to the faith. People like some here are the reason why people turn away from Christ and never come back. Always this double cup drinking bullfeathers that goes on around here.
I know where I stand with my God, but not everyone does. We are supposed to represent Christ and bring people to him, not scare them off.

A. If YOU feel something is wrong...
it is right and just to point it out.

B. If OTHERS feel something is wrong...
it is NOT right and just to point it out, if it doesn't agree with you?



2. Freedom of Emotion

A. If You feel something is wrong...
it is alright to talk strongly against it, in the strongest manner.

B. If OTHERS feel something is wrong...
it is NOT alright to talk about it strongly, if it doesn't agree with you?






* Unless YOU are the arbiter of all speech,
then you need to let everyone have their opinions and emotions...
just as you do.

Where is this talking about opinions? I was not speaking against pointing out different opinions. I am talking about the way people are treated and insulted and hurt instead of helped. People ask questions and all they get are vicious answers.
And in short like many have stated ''lack of love'' and ''warzones'' that keep people from giving their opinions in the first place.

Now brother. Where did I insult anyone? I would like to know that, as you are pretty much (if I see that right) are implying that I were one of these people.
