whazzup Sovereign?

does it strike you as a tad odd that you call grace free?

did any one of us pay something for it?

God's grace IS free

I know that is not how you meant it, but I thought I would just point that out

you're welcome
I think it must be what he means. If a person says there is a "Theology of Free Grace".... then they must also believe there is some other kind of grace. Perhaps, one they can "earn?"

All OSAS followers for starters. :)
There ya have it people. He just judged something he does not understand. And called us all liars.

Thats ok, At the same time, He PROVED he depends on saving himself. and Not God saving him.. Because he proved he believed God CAN FAIL and not do what GOD PROMISED.

if he did, He never would think he could lose salvation.

Yes, no one advocates believers living in ongoing sin as being acceptable. Free grace theology, however, does.
Anyone who would conflate FGT or any type of hyper-grace with Reformed doctrine hasn't a clue what they are talking about. :)

Yeah really. He states not to be unequally yoked but he sure does enjoy hanging out with us deplorable children of darkness. What a hypocrite!
God says if we commit the least of all sin, we are guilty of the whole law.

Are you going to say your BETTER than that sinner Grace777 spoke of. Or on equal ground (apart from Christ)

Jesus would not judge the prostitute What gives you the right to judge?

I have a thought. Now if a brother who follows the Lord says they are walking in fellowship
with the Lord, to a degree they do not knowing sin, Amen, Praise the Lord, teach me Lord.

If Jesus walked outside your house are you going to say hypocrite, self righteous superior
idiot. Now is Jesus's representative walked outside your house are you going to say hypocrite.
self righteous superior idiot.

So how do any of us know whether or not people walk one way or the other unless they share.
And is our goal to walk like this, or is this actually fake for many?

Now I know from our own battles and issues we automatically say, impossible, it is a failure.
But I think that is our sin, ironic, to doubt to quickly and not embrace the Power of Christ in
our lives. A new land is never found without exploration and discovery, discussion and understanding,
yet people junk everyone who says they have made progress as if they are the enemy.

Now the one being we fight would always want us decry walking like Jesus, and it is not Jesus.

A point about dualists, they are unaware of what is actually going on.

It is like a whirlwind, they spin up, and people fly out, and they are gone
causing another tumult elsewhere.

I believe he is speaking of the system known as 'Free Grace Theology', i.e. Lewis Sperry Chafer, Grace Evangelical Society teachings, Zane Hodges, DTS, et al, not simply about grace itself being free. Huge difference.

Nice visual.....

Ephesians 4:14
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

FGT teaches that one can be saved and live sinful lives and still go to heaven.

Let me ask your opinion on something then. If one were to say that the things the man spoke of, (of which he says, those who do them will not inherit the kingdom of God), just means they won't receive blessings here on earth but that they will inherit in heaven nonetheless - is that what you mean when you say FGT teaches one can live a sinful life and still go to heaven?

Again you imply Jesus is your cover charge to sin, or that Jesus made you free to sin, same as those who follow grace as being a license to sin doctrine. Those who cannot cease from sin (can't stop sinning) are called cursed children....
It is no wonder that you misinterpret the rest of scripture, in the same way that you distort what I said in my post. So read carefully, Jesus did not make it so that we have freedom to sin. The fact is, that we are sinners, which is why Christ died for us while we were "yet sinners." The true believer is always wrestling to get control over their bodies, but even the one who has overcome those things of the flesh is still a sinner. We still have sinful thoughts, make wrong, sinful decisions, etc. That we are sinners and are in need of a savior, is what we acknowledged when God first called us.

2 Peter 2:14
Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
The above scripture that you directed at me, is speaking about those who continue to willfully live according to the sinful nature. I am not doing any of those things that you directed at me, but I am still a sinner, covered by the shed blood of Christ. Regarding this issue, Paul said the following:

"So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!" (Read Romans 7)

In the book of Revelation, Jesus had John write letters to the seven churches, five of them have rebukes in them regarding their sinful states and actions and the command to repent of those. At the end of each of those letters there is a promise attached to those who repent and overcome. This would demonstrate that these churches had/have sin in them, but it was forgivable.

If we were not sinners, why would scripture say "If we sin, when we confess our sins he is faithful and just and will forgive us ours sins and cleanse us of all unrighteousness"?

If you are still claiming to be without sin, then you can apply the following scripture to yourself:

"If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us."

Keep in mind, lest you distort the scripture above as well, that John is writing to believers.

Though we are sinners, God sees us through Christ as perfect. We sinners who have believed have been credited with righteousness. As we continue in our walk with Christ, we are being sanctified (the process of being made holy) by the Holy Spirit, which is a life-long process. It is when we receive those immortal and glorified bodies, that we will no longer have the sinful nature. But for now, we still have those sinful natures as well as our new nature in Christ, the two which are contrary to one another, with the flesh warring against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh.

"There is no one who is righteous, no not one. For all have sinned and all fall short of God's righteous standards."
