How do we get Mods attention?
I have contacted them 3 times in the last 2 days and they are ignoring me.

I don't know why you want them but I agree with mom it's very sad when people leave I have lost a very dear friend just two days ago and didn't even get to say good bye or convince her to please stay. oddly enough though her thread has disappeared since yesterday I wonder if the mods deleted or something?
I remember when you left I was totally heart broken and when you came back I was in tears and my room mate asked me why I was crying lol. Please don't ever leave againwhat i mean is, i would be sad if you left. i'm sure i'm not alone in that.

you know, i don't think of myself as 'that person'. you know, the person people would miss.
that's why i tell Persuaded people will miss him, in case he thinks like i do.

indeed I know Persuaded is deeply cared about by many people here so him leaving would hurt many of us. I didn't think I would be missed either when I was gone for a year but holy cow so many people freaked out and when I returned there to many pm in my in box asking where I was and if i was ok to reply to.
And yes if you ever leave which I don't even want to think about I at least need your email
I've tried to leave this place but I'm addicted to it. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing 
The mods are few and their demands many. You don't need them to delete your account if that's what you are looking for. Just stop posting and all memory of you will fade away

After 11 months here, I realized that the BDF has serious issues.
Often threads are started that are hijacked by folks who want to teach their doctrine.
They use someone else's thread as a platform to push their personal beliefs.
If that happens to a thread I start, I should have the option to close that thread or at least ask a mod to close it in a reasonable time frame.
I enjoy Bible discussion, that is why I joined, but there is very little on the BDF. It is mostly opinions and assumptions and when you disagree it becomes personal attacks and even questioning the intellect of others.
This may be a harsh statement, but in my opinion, the BDS is a joke and should be eliminated.
There is nothing here for me. It is a waste of my time. It is very depressing.
So yes, I'm gone.

Mods are unpaid volunteers that show up during their personal free time, so contacting one isn't going to be quick.
They are not going to end or restrict the most active section of the forums. There have been constant complaints about it for years and it has been stated repeatedly that there is no intention to change things.
And because of that, good people like Persuaded, HisHolly, Jennymae and countless others will continue to leave until EVERYONE is gone and the site flops in on itself. :/
your best bet is by hanging around the chat in the lounge.. i sometimes see robo in there and a few others.
I do not know why all these are leaving so must've missed the drama. Looks like the biting and devouring one another going on; Galatians 5:15. Maybe these will come back, but would like to know the threads that caused them to leave.
That's why i don't participate in those type of discussions, usually people just sit in there debating over nothing, rather than trying to live the life. Don't be too depressed, this is the nature of some people and its just best to move away from the topics when they do start to come in. Its easier to just give good advice and scripture to new people who come in looking for help. I know for a fact that some people go in there looking to cause discord between brothers and sisters, but we have to move forward and beyond it... the flesh goes in circles, but the spirit just moves forward, but yea if you really are leaving ill see you later and Godbless.
Even if the bible discussion forum was taken away people would just turn another place here into it they would likely flock to the misc. section first. What we need is mods specifically for the bdf, I don't know how mods are chosen but if we got members who frequent the forums often who are well known and respected and known for showing the light of Christ often to be mods then it would make a huge difference lik say we had at least three for the bdf that would make a big difference. I know Blue is straight forward and isn't afraid to let people know their in the wrong Angela is someone I also think would be good as she is great with scripture and shows maturity And I think ugly is stable and would be a good one to help keep order as well
Any mod could look at the titles in the BDF & skim through a couple & immediately deal with troublemakers.....
I have been in the BDF & had 8-10 tabs up at the same time, skimming thru them, looking for answers to my posts. It is not that hard.
Perhaps the real answer is the mods have been told to leave the BDF alone. I can't see any other logical explanation.

Getting more mods wont help.. where i came from we just formed small groups and blocked/ ignored known people who would try to cause discord/conflict between the group... we had a lot of those, and we had no mods, but we kept them in check by just getting most of the people in the group to just ignore the offenders, and to never post on their threads, leaving them to just sit there by themselves.. it worked out pretty well to be honest.. usually what would happen is the ones on ignore would often go and fight with the other offenders because those were the only people they could get a reaction out of. Sometimes they would make new accounts and try us again, but after they show their colors they just get ignored again...
Some people are not who they say they are on this site and they come on only to disrupt, confuse and cause chaos.
