My opinion and I have never said this about a preacher before, but if what you say is true that man knows nothing about the Word of G-d and stop listening to him he is a false teacher!!!
With that said, Y-shua is the fulfillment of the Hebrew Scripture, He is Messiah for all mankind. Saul (Paul’s Hebrew name since he is a Jew) only reinforces the Torah and the rest of the Old Testament. There is not one thing new in the New Testament that is not in the Old, just people fight against the goads too much to know better and they make stupid arguments, but we love them anyway. If people actually knew their Old Testament they would know Y-shua and know Paul too. Paul is reiterating the Old Testament in the light of Messiah who is it’s fulfillment. It Y-shua was only for us Jews and what He said YOU NON-JEWS

... As stated, Paul reinforces everything Christ taught. Keep in mind that Jesus came as a Jew and lived under the law, but his sacrifice ushered in the new covenant, so Paul is teaching what that meant. There are no contradictions between Christ and Paul, the apostle reiterates everything Christ taught.

Paul received the Gospel and his teachings directly from Christ. He states that he spent three years in Arabia before he met any of the Disciples. He went to see them to confirm that what he was teaching was correct. In his letters he explains in places whether a statement comes from himself or from the Lord.
I believe that every word in the Bible was written to me, and that if God had written the book solely for me He wouldn't change a word. When we stand before God in heaven there will be no you and me and Jew and Gentile. Sure, He addressed some things to the Jews and some things to the Gentiles, but I figure every word He spoke to the Jews has a nugget of truth in it for me and gentile.

Hi Mini84... I have not read any of the post so this may be similar to others prior to this post. I am simply answering you question.
The Bible is a divinely written book of 66 books by over 40 authors over a period of 2500 years. God himself designed it, wrote it and/or inspired it to be written according to HIS WORD.
The Old Testament actually ends with Micah, not John the Baptist as most people teach. Paul and all the other disciples taught what Jesus inspired them to. Nothing more and Nothing less. There are many ways to read the Bible and come to conclusions of what it really says. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John do write the scriptures with different views/perspectives in mind. Find out about them.
One thing is for certain, that if you follow 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 you will be one your way. Remember one other item... The Bible (KJV) is GOD's WORD..... You cannot believe in only parts (as the passage above) of the Bible and not believe in other parts of the Bible.
My signature (below) tells you about the Holy Spirit which is with you when you give yourself to Jesus.. Listen very careful to Him and you will be OK.
p.s. There is one other item that you need to adhere to and that is ACTs 17:11.....Do not take what I say as being the true... Look it up for yourself...This is what God teaches us.

LOL...I understand what you are saying and yes we are all in the same boat.
When I said not everything is written "to" us. I was talking about that all things were written for us to learn from but not all things are directly "to" us. When Jesus called the Pharisees "You generation of vipers" He wasn't talking to His disciples so to take that verse and "apply" it "to" us believers in Christ would be error. It does work great for the religious people though that stop others from entering into the kingdom...
Or when Jesus told the rich young ruler to go sell all that he had - are we to "obey" that command too because Jesus said it "to" that particular person?
Did you know that not even God believes everything that is written in the bible about Him?
When I first saw this - I laughed. God says in Job 42:7 that Job's supposed friends did not speak what was true about God. So, for the last 30 some chapters what was written what was said by the 3 friends was not accurate about God and here we have in the bible scripture of people telling "things" about God that God Himself says is wrong.

I like to state it this way: Everything in the bible is truly stated but not everything is a statement of truth.
We need to be totally dependent on the Holy spirit to reveal the things of Christ to us or we will end up with another religion and denomination.

This reminds me of a past experience when i was in a dicussion with a muslim.. The muslim quoted what one of these 3 friends said to support islam and to show that Christianity was wrong.. lucky for me i had read the Bible and quoted what God said about the things written about Him by this friend.. lol

You see, most of what we read in the Bible is written for us to study and understand who God was and is and is to come. What we must do is rightly divide the word of truth to determine what our direction is today living in the Church Age. The Church Age, the body of Christ, began after the resurrection and will last up to the time of the gathering of the Church in the clouds. Where do we find such doctrine? Look to the Apostle Paul and what the Lord revealed to him.

Rightly divide means to carefully handle. This is when before you read, you pray & ask God to lead you into His Word. This also means to check the meanings of Greek & Hebrew words. I would recommend using biblehub.com. It has commentaries & other writings that will assist your study.
The opposite of carefully handling God's word is to just run to any ole website or speaker & swallow up whatever they say without researching it.This attitude has destroyed many a christian looking for shortcuts.
Many christians think they can take shortcuts in their learning & study other people's work without doing any real study on their own. False teachers take advantage of this to lead you astray.
You have to pray & study for yourself..... dig it out yourself.

8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
Is this the direction you follow?

Because if we see a conflict in our understanding, it is because we are missing something about what Paul was trying to convey.
So until the Holy Spirit clears up our misunderstanding, I agree with you that we just go with what Jesus said.
Because we have seen the opposite a lot with people - they ignore what Jesus said to go with their flawed understanding of what Paul said.
If you have to pick one or the other because Paul confuses you, it's best to go with the Lambs own words.
