Okay, so I have this awesome fashion accessory to wear for an added month because I have a tendency of falling down stairs and what makes it worse was that I was coming out of a job interview lol. Anyways, I like to add to my style choices, but with this walking boot has me challenged to the kinds of things I wear like I can't wear heels and I really would love to wear a skirt, but my personal opinion is it would look kind of funky. Does any of you have any ideas? I would have placed this in the ladies forum, but I know some guys have good ideas too :)

Hmmm.. Let's see.. You could wear some long leggings with them. Or a skirt long enough to partially cover them..

High boots are more attractive than heels in my opinion, especially with skirts. You won't even need a pedicure.

Walking boot? Is that a cast, inflatable, or velcro?

Cast, I can see you having a one-time choice. Duct tape. It comes in pretty colors, so pick one you can live with.

The only other thing I can suggest is to remember most people don't look at legs most of the time.

Sorry, but I am stuck in overalls all the time, so keep forgetting anyone accessorizes anymore. :)

If it is a long skirt, it could cover the boot fine.

Have people sign it like a cast... And each person has to sign it with a diff color...
Carry a multi colored sharpie kit in your purse... They cost like $10....
It would look pretty legit and colorful and have stories behind it... Instead of the story being you just didn't like the boot, it will look cool and you have a story for each name.

Edit: as long as you don't have to return it to the hospital/clinic for a refund...

This is a walking boot. It is used after a foot injury or foot surgery. I think a little glitter and an ankle bracelet are about all you can do to bling that up. Better to make up a good story, like 'I hurt it jumping out of a burning second floor apartment' ;)

This is a knee walker. I wish I had heard about your foot issue earlier I would have recommended one of these instead of crutches. Highly recommended. I rented one after my foot surgery and I didn't want to give it back! That thing was just too much fun! I'm lucky I didn't hurt the other foot with it. Skateboarders got nothin' on me ;)
