the photo is taken from beyond the end zone, and shows people beyond the opposite end zone of a football field. so this is probably 150 yards -- at least greater than 100 yards.

according to FEN, the people standing on the other side of the field should look like they're sitting on their knees.

Notice how that - the person in the "blown up" image - in the original image - appears significantly smaller in height than the players in the foreground. Hence, the B-to-H distance is indeed smaller than the A-to-E distance ( in appearance ).

The vanishing point is a true phenomena, but it does not work on the horizon at sea.
I have been in the pacific on a day with no wind at all. You can see the horizon, and
a big ship appear over it. It does not slowly appear, it is not there and then it is there.

The sun to be 200 miles above earth it would be affected by the vanishing point.
Looking through darkened glass at the sun you will find it does not change in size no
matter the position in the sky. So simply you are wrong.

The 'vanishing point' works anywhere and everywhere, in the direction of the horizon.

You are missing the point entirely...? Based on what the guy in the video is saying, your 'darkened glass' has the same exact 'effect'; however, while you are "blocking" a large part of the sun's light with the darkened glass [ consistantly and at every "height" of the sun ], he is saying that the atmosphere "blocks" a varying portion of the sun's light depending on "how high up" the sun is -- i.e. - as the sun "goes down" ( "moves further away" ), there is more atmosphere between your eyes and the sun; therefore, it:

~ dims

~ changes color

~ appears to get smaller.

( as it gets "closer" to the 'horizon' )

How much smaller it [ appears to get ] depends on the content of the atmosphere.

To reach the edge, you would first have to climb a 200-foot wall of ice ( ocean barrier ) - and then travel many, many, miles ( perhaps even hundreds of miles? ) to reach the edge.

As far as we know, no one has ever been that far...
