Hi Chickenkiller,
I just asked a mod to put this in the BDF for you. Not sure how long it will take. Next time if something like that happens, see the triangle with an exclamation point in it at the bottom of your post. You'll see blog this post, and then a star and next to that is the triangle. Click on it and you can ask a mod there to move your thread to a different forum.

There are biblical references to the watchman on the wall. His job was to watch to see if the enemy was coming to attack.

If you want information on specifically the walls the Israelites built to protect themselves, do a word search at www.
biblegateway.com on the word wall(s).

The scriptures talk about the great wall of New Jerusalem in Revelation 21:11 - Shining with the glory of God. Its radiance was like a most precious jewel, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. The city had a great and high wall with twelve gates inscribed with the names of the twelve tribes of Israel, and twelve angels at the gates.

Do you actually want to hear what the Bible is about?

Do you even know the gospel?

Do you realize how much you truly need a savior?

Walls are good and necessary for protection.

It's all throughout the Bible...

Nehemiah 2:17
"Then said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach"

First comment is............no one is suggesting building a wall AROUND the US.......just along portions of our Southern Border...........kinda important to know the truth ya know.....

Second comment is............it appears you have some experience in building walls as you have built quite a doozy around your heart in order to protect yourself from the call of the Holy Spirit to repentance........

Third comment........40 years old and you are simply trying to skate through life? Move out of your Mothers basement, get a job, and try to be a contributing, productive member of Society.......

In the Bible, every kingdom had a wall to protect it from invaders. The Roman empire had borders that were always manned. When they allowed barbarian tribes intermingle with the Roman people and help man the borders, the Roman empire soon fell.

They can be built up, they can be torn down. They can be made to come crashing with a sound. You can hedge them up all around. Some trusted in their walls to keep them safe, but some prophets said in a manner of speaking their trust was misplaced. Some like Hezekiah turned to the wall weeping and repented. While others like Belshazzar saw the writing on the wall and were up-ended.

Some of the most hateful people are posting on this forum. I just gotta laugh. Especially considering I have spent the last 20 years of my life working for the same company. I won.

Love the irony of a person coming to this site to argue and be disruptive and troll, yet having the gall to accuse others of being hateful.

What have i done to disrupt this forum? Explain that. I have asked questions and enjoyed the answers.

I don't find comments like this particularly nice.

people are hateful on this forum, ive witnessed it plenty. I can tell you that its not bringing any glory to God at all by being that way. It is very shameful for a Christian to behave in the way that ive witnessed on this board. We should be loving and caring, even if we disagree. I have read some of chickenkillers posts as genuinely searching for answers, what if we drive him away and he ends up eternally condemned as a result? Just something to think about.

The estimated budget for this wall along the Mexican border is said to exceed NASA's budget of nearly $20 billion. But, hopefully with it we'll be safe and the Avengers can then retire.
