If someone else thinks they have reasons to put confidence in the flesh, I have more: 5 circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; in regard to the law, a Pharisee; 6 as for zeal, persecuting the church; as for righteousness based on the law, faultless.
7 But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. 8 What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith.
Phil 3:4-9

What an apostle!!! He knew how to rank all he had achieved yet it was all
given up that he might gain Christ and be found in him.

And Pauls foundation was righteousness found through faith in Christ.

Now how can this most precious righteousness be marred by sin in the believers
life and not cause problems and lead to the loss of faith and truth if not
repented of.

As Paul says,
You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
Eph 4:22-24

If people find righteousness and holiness too difficult to comprehend, spend time in
the word to learn what it means to walk in the Spirit and to walk in the flesh.
Paul is blunt, walk in the flesh, you will die, walk in the Spirit you will live.

For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.
Rom 8:13
Im tired. Don't have the energy anymore to separate the gobbly gook to what might be true in your posts. They seem to be more about pleasuring yourself than standing for anything true.

Normally, these words would be looked upon with great favor. But Peter, you have ruined your witness.
If I am ruined in the eyes of the unrighteous, I am made whole in the eyes of Christ
because of my faith in Him and the cross and His forgiveness for my sins.

Now it is hard to pass the rows of sinners who wish you to declare you are failed
and fallen like them and not redeemed and made pure in Christ.

Surely this is the wrong way round.

In this strange spiritual world these aliens live in, our whole experience of God
is wrong and good is evil and evil is good. And you ask why has the world been
turned upside down, so evil men can be justified as righteous while sinning.

Now this is the equivalent of murdering people and then saying it is alright
because the murderer has been forgiven, as if the effects of murder are irrelevant.

Now if you lived in a society where murder was common place and peoples lives
cheap, this would be laughed at as so mad, they would kill the people who say it
out of respect for the victims of murder.

But those destined for judgement rush in applauding they have been given a reprieve
and all is not lost, in fact they get a wealth and health ticket on the front row.

For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God?
2 Sam 22:32

Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying: “‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,’ who was, and is, and is to come.”
Rev 4:8

Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.
Luke 9:23

Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
Matt 10:38

Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!
Rev 5:12

Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
Gal 1:10

While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!”
Matt 17:5

We are as a people of the Kingdom interested ultimately in one approval
that of the Father, Amen.

What does it mean to carry our cross?

The cross is carrying he hurts and sins of others inflicted on us.
It is not complaining but have love overcoming the struggle. And it is not easy,
but it is what in Christ we are called to do.

Jesus's struggle was summarised as follows

Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”
Matt 26:39

Do not believe this is an easy road, or things are predictable, but the Lord
provides the way, the strength, the love and the healing.

Paul was warned lots of times he would be attacked in Jerusalem and it end
in death, yet he still went there. A lot of the letters he wrote in that time of
his life bless us today in scripture. His effect on Rome was probably foundational
to the church. So even in suffering Gods glory shines, so I rejoice when people
revile me and invent anything against to make everything look bad, because this
is the fulfillment of Christs promise

Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Matt 5:11-12

I was serving with a group of christians who went a did an open air in the Phillipines.
We had as a group done one in one location and they set up in another and were stoned.

Such is the way of the enemy to the promise of love and victory over sin and death.

Now how long on this earth have you actually got?

On average if you are between 55 and 75 50% will be dead before we reach
75.

So what would you rather do? Praise God and give glory to His gospel and
love to the world through Christ, or stay silent, and wonder when you meet
Him, why you did not make better use of your time.

Death is not a shock or something we should fear, but boldly walk towards
knowing the victory of Christ in our hearts through the Holy Spirit and
declaring it allowed for all to hear and witness to the work of the Lord in
man, Amen.

Imagine this

I could share all the words I have shared but without opposition it sounds so tame.
Do you hear how strongly the enemy rails against the word of the Lord?

It is all about emotional distraction and slander. They have no answer to the power
of God, because it is always undeniable, unless you blaspheme the Holy Spirit.

One thing I am learning until you exercise faith, confess, declare and act upon it it
seems like just words or ideas without reality. Once you start to walk, you end up
running, and once running you end up rejoicing and once rejoicing you end up meeting
and having fellowship with the King, Halleluyah.

And guys like those here are in every church, every fellowship, every social gathering,
and will whisper the same ideas and retorts, and try and quell a work of God.

So just know Jesus will provide you with everything.

On my account you will be brought before governors and kings as witnesses to them and to the Gentiles. But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
Matt 10:18-20

So dear reader, be careful how you approach such testimony, else you find yourself
opposing God.

Not once in this thread has Peter expressed gratitude for the sacrifice jesus made for him. He has only spoke of his own righteousness and clean heart. The true mark of a saved by grace individual is a heart of gratitude that he has been shown undeserved unmerited mercy. Sorry Peter...you're an arrogant Pharisee and it is written all over this thread. I bet you couldn't even stomach going back and reading your own words.

Dear Lord, thankyou for bringing people here together to look at your word.

Thankyou that you are the focus of our deliberations in your word, for us to grasp
your intention and outworking. Thankyou also for this medium through which we
can share such explosive subjects but in a safe way. I lift up your name, your
sacrifice for us upon the cross that has brought us into the Holy of holies,
Amen, Halleluyah.

I love to praise the Lord for His grace to us all.

What you guys do not realise the Lord is doing a new thing, and His word
will be preached to the uttermost places of the earth and then the end will come.

We do not choose our places, God chooses them.
And you can and will turn my words into something different than I intend or
even say, but I forgive you, because you do not know what you are doing.

Thankfully I trust myself to the Lord so I rest in Him, so whatever anyone does
it will always work towards His praise, Amen.
Odd attack on me because if you knew my heart you would not even go there,
but then spiritual blindness.

Sadly, thats just the point.

We do know your heart. By what you post.

You keep saying God saved you redeemed you, did this and that,

Then destroy that testimony by saying how you have to maintain your salvation by your works..

You talk about rest in the lord. Then deny it by preaching how you have to make yourself holy and pure (which is alot of hard work, and in fact, impossible.. Unless you REST, and LET GOD MAKE YOUR RIGHTEOUS AND HOLY)

I have a picture, a child running into their fathers arms.

They know the relationship is real and founded.
There is no working to keep something that exists, that
is why the cross is there, as an eternal marker of Gods love.

That is always enough, but obviously not for some, they
do not know how to honour their King, because maybe he is
just part time king when they think people are looking.

What is righteousness?

To not bear false witness against another, to not make up accusations
that do not exist, to not discredit or attack those proclaiming Christ and
His love.

But then sinner who are lost, do not know any of these spiritual realities.

What you know is slander.

We teach a child who runs to their fathers arms and rests in him and honors him. so what you just said here is our message..

when are you going to do more than just say it?

Sadly, thats just the point.
We do know your heart.
This is a real joke.

When I speak about my heart, about being healed, about walking in
the light, about bearing hurts of others as part of carrying my cross silence.

But this is my heart. So I know you know nothing about what I am sharing
about, because all who have experienced what I have experienced, it defines
them, it is not a superficial thing, it is a life changing series of events.

I do not share this as a point scoring, just the spiritual gulf.

Jesus put it like this,

But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.
Matt 9:13

Unless one truly repents, everything is like a blur of ideas and most is
just unknown.

Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

Who is proclaiming Jesus and His love?

Those who preach the cross, repentance, confession and walking in righteousness.

And those who oppose righteous walking are no friends of Christ, for this is how he
walked and we are called to follow Him.

Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.
Luke 9:23

Following Christ is to walk righteously.
But the enemy attack everyone who walks as Jesus walked.

A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
Luke 6:45

Condemning righteous deeds and righteous people is evil sinful behaviour.
Know them by the fruit of their lips.
