Why am I even alive? I hate life. I didn't ask to be born. I don't want anything to do with God. Thank you for prayers but I'm not sure that'll do much. People have prayed for me before nothing ever happens.
Well, why hasn't it? You're 21. Lots should be happening by now. All sorts of things. (Most of which are terrifying to face, except if we remember that most people survived it before.)

God's a giant hater when it comes to me and my life! He heals other people but not me!
Which dog is more loved -- the one that's allowed to roam free and do whatever, or the one put on the leash and watched?

Disability is God's way of keeping us close and remembering we need him. I feel sorry for those who think they are in control of their lives because they made themselves healthy.

If his love is so extraordinary how come he never talks to me?
You just said you read his word. Doesn't that ever talk to you? That IS God talking to you.

After careful consideration of the seemingly trollish posts you've been busy with, I have come to conclude that even first in order to leave God you would have to first be WITH GOD, obviously this is not the case for you. maybe a tiddle of a taste but you do not know God.

OH, and by the way,.. ps 139:7-8:

Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
So getting angry with God is trollish?

Isn't getting angry at someone who is angry at God a bigger troll hounding a troll then?

"Carefully consider" better in the future.

I think I have Alopecia in my eyebrows. Meaning a lot of my eyebrow hairs are missing so I look like a psychopath. Its been this way for over a year. I've been a recluse for over a year. I hate everything.
That's it? How mean God is to you is summed up with for 1/21st of your life you have had no eyebrows?

How hideous are bald people in your mind? What about people who are deformed? Do they make you cringe? Do you run away screaming? How do you treat those people?

And, assuming you don't really freak out, why would you think anyone would go passed, "Oh. Now I get what's weird. No eyebrows." And then they go on there way forgetting completely.

When I was 20, a friend of mine had me read a script he wrote. I knew him for a couple of years, so I read it. (It was pretty bad, but I didn't tell him that. lol) I asked him how he got the idea of a character with a withered hand. At that moment, we were in a room with two other of our friends, and everyone looked at me like I was nuts. The writer lifted his hand and showed me it was withered. Honestly, I never noticed.

You get two reactions from people when you have something different about you -- some go nuts trying to not notice it. Others simply don't notice it. And when that's over, everyone continues on with their lives.

So what? You've got no eyebrows. Your choice -- draw some on or leave it as is. And then get back to life. If you don't think bald people are horrible or deformed people are horrible, than allow most will think the same thing about you.

This needs repeating:
At 20, I worried about what everyone was thinking about me.
At 40, I stopped caring what everyone was thinking about me.
At 60, I realized no one was thinking about me.

Become 60. It saves decades of needless worry.

If I decided to stop following Jesus would he throw me in hell when I die?
Once you're saved you're always saved. Nothing you do can separate you from Christ. Sometimes Christians wander, sometimes very far, but they're still Christians. 2 Timothy 2:13, "If we are faithless, He remains faithful." And

However, there are clearly verses that warn against apostasy.

Some of these are as follows:
1 John 2:3-6, "[SUP]3 [/SUP]We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. [SUP]4 [/SUP]Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. [SUP]5 [/SUP]But if anyone obeys his word, love for God[SUP][a][/SUP] is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: [SUP]6 [/SUP]Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did."

1 John 2:18-19, "[SUP]18 [/SUP]Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour. [SUP]19 [/SUP]They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us."

Clearly, these verse are talking about people who, although they claimed to be Christians, weren't really Christians. They lied. Maybe even to themselves.

Likewise, Jesus discusses how some people believe they are Christians but hear Him say to them, "I never knew you."
He points out that the way to tell a Christian from someone who either pretends or falsely believes him/herself to be a Christian is by the person's fruit. It's impossible for someone who is a Christian not to have their life transformed by Christ. It might not be all at once and, of course, Christian still sin, but God shows them how to do right.

A true Christian would never choose to reject Christ. He/she might choose to sin and then repent of it. But a true Christian would never say, "Christ never died for my sins," or , "Christ died for my sins but I'm going to live like it cost Him nothing."

Now, I know that there might be some objections to this way of seeing things, but this is the best answer I have at this moment.

Of course, it makes one a bit scared because the people Jesus referred to clearly thought they were Christians, so what if we think we're saved but really aren't? How terrifying to think one might hear Jesus say He never knew us! The best answer I have to quelling those fears is to trust that God is good and merciful, that the Bible clearly states those who have faith in Jesus are saved, and to trust God. After all, our salvation isn't dependent on us but on Jesus, so all we can do is trust in Him.

If you are his, you cannot leave him (even if you want to.)

If you aren't his, then you can leave, in which case, you were headed for hell for all you've done all along.

If you think the grand total of following God is to get the Eternal Vacation Plan, were you ever his?
How am I supposed to know if I'm his?

Warning: Three times in my life, I decided to stop following him. Three times hell was the least of my problems! Now became much worse.

By the end, all I learned was summed up with "Boy, am I STUPID!!!"

I can get mad at God all I want, he's still going to get me where he wanted me. The real choice in life, for those who are chosen by God are, how do you want to get there -- by ship or by fish belly? Fish belly -- as uncomfortable as it gets.
What do you mean by fish belly?

I just think life is pointless most of the time. These "trials" God puts me through are pointless.

South_Fla,

The best thing is for you to talk to your pastor.

If you don't have a pastor, you need to find one.
They aren't hard to find.

What did Jonah learn through his 40 days of tribulation in the whale's belly? Don't people usually draw closer to God when they're going through rough times? :) Jonah relied on God to deliver him from the whale's gut.. Do YOU do the same?

What do you mean by fish belly?

Lol why??? Why doesn't God just talk to me instead of doing this "wait to be healed" thing. Its so unnecessary!

Explain to me how text on paper is God talking to me? Its a book about a bunch of random people I never met before.

That's what I don't understand. Who was Jesus talking about when he said people will say to me Lord Lord didn't we prophesy and cast out in devils in your name? And then I'll say I never knew you... Don't you have to be saved in order to be a prophet?

He doesn't have to prevent my eyebrows from being grown in order for me to get closer to him. Talk about forcing someone to love you!
