The Law or Commandments bring the knowledge of sin. 1 John 3:4 "Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness." ESV or "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law." KJV
Sin is the braking of the Law or Commandments, which include dishonoring our parents, lying or bearing false witness, coveting or desiring thing that belong to someone else, not putting God first in everything you do, that one alone makes us all sinners. We do these types of things all the time in our minds, so we continually sin, but do we practice them, do we take what belongs to someone else, no. Do I put God before everything I do, no. This is why John says if we say we are without sin we make Him a liar. Is my lifestyle to lie all the time, no, do I take the Lord name in vain, I have and do some times do I do it all the time or make a practice of it, no, I acknowledge that it's sin and He is faithful and just to forgive it.
No one lives a life of never braking the Law of God, it's impossible. Read Matthew 5:17-48 Jesus makes the Law apply inwardly and in verse 48 He says "You there fore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect." Do you never brake one of God's Law's? You don't need to answer that here, but to yourself.
