And to me your just another member who goes with the crowd.. Baptism is something sacred.... i dont see or try to see what it doesnt do....... but only what it does..

Because baptism is the seal of the fact that I have been saved. It should be the first act on being saved. But it does not in itself save. It is the answer of a good conscience towards God through the resurrection of Christ.

This is fact Satan didnt obey God and dishonered his holy statutes,,, Holy sacrement are also something to be honoured like wedding vows... and there not to be disobeyed by no body or else you have a n advocate with he father.. church members of the body know this

Now if you deliberately do this to please satan or the crowd of disobediant assumers here then you are of satan in my book,, and you must repent and resist and hope for salvation..
So why did God allow divorce in the OT and polygamy?

It happened in the OT and the NT

Not sure what you're trying to say with regards to doing it to please satan or the crowd.

Can you explain it in simple terms for a simple Glaswegian?

It's not a lie. I'm sorry if you don't want to accept the truth. Which is, that the daily bread we ask for each day, is stuff like the strength to get through the day, for God to provide what we need. NOT to ask for daily salvation. Salvation is NOT given daily, it is a one-time gift. A ONE time gift. :)

Ive allready told you that those who make children of God stumble will be put to death...

And that the same for sexualy indecenty adultery if you dont repent of adultry and carry on............ the wife can divorce..or the husband..you cant dishonor the vows and keep on getting away with it... God has to cater for sinners yes but he doesnt have to tie you to a sinner permantly... the bible says two warnings is enough..

I disagree coz the ultimate salvation is walking with your brothers and sisters in the new world.. which hasnt come yet

Thanks, but everyone knows when we were first saved ---
it was by God's grace through our faith and it had nothing to do with our works.
That was when we were first saved.

But, now what are all of the warnings about? Oh yes, rewards! lol
No, after first being saved --- at the very least, works are now required.
And there are a ton of verses about enduring in our faith until we die to receive eternal life.
This ton of verses are the first obvious evidence that salvation is a life-long process.
SOOOOO...more works based salvation....

Galatians 1 and 3 <---faith + works is a false gospel, no power and double cursed........works are a result of faith and yes for rewards....SEE Corinthians 3.........geesh!

Baptism of the holy spirit is Gods seal in you... its not your seal...

Seriously my friend you need to take check and think about how you go about your words.

Think about what I said, process what I said and then ask the question

"Have you been baptised?

Do not assume that I haven't been baptised which you have.

FYI yes I have been baptised and in fact I baptise people in my church.
I love seeing people baptised and I think it is a very very important spiritual marker in ones life.

BUT I STILL MAINTAIN BAPTISM DOES NOT SAVE A PERSON JESUS DOES.

Just a couple of things I would like to add.

I refused to baptise someone who wanted to be baptised. I wasn't fully sure they had placed their faith in Christ.

I asked him "Have you confessed with your mouth that Jesus Christ is the son of God and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead?

He squirmed and and when I pushed him he said no. I asked him was he in a place to do this he said no.
To me it became apparent that it was just a sacrament.

I know of believers who have not been baptised and when I come alongside them to encourage them to be baptised the reasons they haven't mainly boil down to two things.

The first being a pressure to conform, the pressure to have to stand up and speak in front of a load of people, give a big testimony.

I say to such people "All you need to say is that I am getting baptised because I beleive Jesus is who he says he is, that he rose again and I have placed my faith in him and want to follow him" Nothing more is needed.

The second and this saddens me and angers me

"I still sin and I'm a sinner"

This is as a result of sinless perfectionists who expect people to be perfect in order to be baptised.
Truly shocking to place such a burden on believers.

So I just say "Jesus died for you while you were dead in your sins, he loved you enough to do this, he is not looking for your perfection, only your heart a heart that seeks after him, if you wait until your sinless then you ain't ever gonna be baptised"

Virtullay everyone I have said that to got baptised at the next opportunity.

So I implore you.

Read what is written and think about it, dont shoot from the hip and accuse. Ask and not accuse.

You assumed I wasn't baptised.

You need to think further as well. Look at my examples above concerning baptism
Amen...Immersion is a work of righteousness, the first act of obedience and is nothing more than a picture or painting and public confession/profession of what has taken place in Christ....it states publically that you have died to the old man, are buried with Christ and resurrected in and with Christ as a creation in Christ Jesus.......WORKS of righteousness do not save and or keep saved! I do, I just wanted clarification on your post about the sacrament of marriage vows that are not to be disobeyed by no one or else you have an advocate.

It seems to me that God allowed even though it be for the wrong reasons which Jesus had to correct.
God always intended marriage to be a life time commitment

Matthew 19:4-10

And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ and said, “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh.
Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”

They said to Him, “Why then did Moses command to give a certificate of divorce, and to put her away?”
He said to them, “Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so.

And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery.”
His disciples said to Him, “If such is the case of the man with his wife, it is better not to marry.”

I do agree with you that divorce can be for the right reason.

I don't speak in tongues but I believe in Jesus.

So have I not been annointed by Jesus, am I not saved?

I was once told that because I didn't speak in tongues I wasn't saved. Do you think that?

To me tongues is a gift not and not something that baptises a person into the church.

The Holy Spirit unites me with Christ.
The Holy Spirit in me works to conform me to be like Christ, loving others.

I seek that more than I do tongues.

If I have misunderstood you then please let me know.
Paul covers this topic extensively....he would rather speak a few understandable words as opposed to 10,000 is an unknown LANGUAGE.......there is no evidence that it is required and or relevant to biblical salvation......only cake takers think this.....!

So do you agree that this is also Gods mentality on how you can also become divorced to him...

Coz where im standing we are in a lifetime commitment to him are we not ?

I am sorry, but the bold has absolutely nothing to do with first receiving the indwelling Holy Spirit.
It is speaking of receiving a special anointing by Jesus (with the initial evidence of some tongues).
The Holy Spirit baptizes a person into the church (1 Cor 12).
The "initial"evidence is not speaking in tongues...Pentecostals got this all wrong....The evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is the power to be a witness....that power is not tongues, that power is the Love of God shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit....The evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is love and the rest of the fruit of the Spirit...

This is why the love discourse is between 1 Cor 12 and 1 Cor 14...

I know a lady who blabbers in tongues and goes on and on about how anointed she is because of her "tongues" yet she has no love shed abroad in her heart by the holy spirit...She walks into a room and one can feel condemnation and judgement enter into the room.....I know another lady that has not received tongues, yet her motivation and anointing is the love of God shed abroad in her hear t by the Holy Spirit and when she walks into a room, God is with her....

Tongues is the least of the gifts....I do not diminish the importance of tongues, and I believe in the personal use of tongues to edify myself and the corporate use of tongues if accompanied by interpretation...That said, the real evidence is love that empowers you to be a witness....

Paul says this in 1 COr 13...

People who already have salvation, don't need to hope for it. So your view on that is erroneous. Christians disobey God all the time. It's called human nature. But they repent and are forgiven, with their salvation STILL intact. :) And holy sacrament is NOT to be honored as wedding vows. Wedding vows get broken every day. How honorable is that? LOL .. Holy sacrament doesn't provide salvation, nor does it maintain salvation. I haven't taken sacrament in decades, yet I'm still saved. :)
Cake takers will always twist, embellish, reject verb tense and deny context Blue......

Generalized statements bro....and I am not attacking you per se....but rather any and all doctrines and dogmas that are contrary to the word........works and or immersion embellished salvation are two such dogmas.....
