Yep, so you as well believe you can cover your sin via good works. You do not understand the Gospel my friend, not even remotely.
Everyone believes something different even Calvinist pick and choose concepts from tulip that they believe or dont.

I think no one knows 100% whats true, or else we all would agree. It's funny because each side has scripture to defend their view and each side will explain it in their mind in context.

So maybe we all need to try and be less judgmental and more understanding.

Extreme but he still jumps in.

What about the mother who says to thier child. '"Your a waste of space. I should have aborted you (my reality, she was encouraged to but didn't (Muslim roots she was told to abort me and as a result I'm the black sheep)

Did God jump in?
He still jumps in maybe but he wasnt able to befor it happened was he..?

Everyone is undeserving of God's love. This is what workers for salvation can't wrap their mind around. Their pride is a barrier in this regard as they feel like they deserve something from God. He owes us nothing.

This is why GRACE is such an amazing thing. You can't comprehend the depths of God's grace until you realize that nothing you can do would ever merit it.
I once held more of a Christ does everything approach to faith.
The problem I have is the jump between how we are now into the blameless, holy,
Christ like state at some point in the future.

The model which is gnostic, is just a dualistic view of the flesh.
The idea of total inability seems to come from gnostic ideas and has no foundation
in scripture. The best argument put forward was sex was original sin and impossible
to resolve.

So the next issue was what does stop us gaining communion with Christ? Maybe what
is before is reality, we just assume it is a problem so do not walk in it.
So then I ask myself what is purity, what does it mean to purify the heart.
Paul describes both our effort and the Lord purifying us. So it is a combination effort,
a relationship with a dawning of light in our hearts.

So if people assume people who take positions all have the same issues and hangups
they are mistaken. And my brothers and sisters in Christ, without attaining to the
gifts of grace, all the theology in the world means nothing. I spent years knowing God
loved me deep in my heart, yet I still had barriers that had to be broken down which
through expressing love to my wife, finding who I was, getting pushed to my limits,
I changed.

We are different than we think we are, and to walk by exercising faith changes us.
Now I am here to share this as part of my walk of faith, not because I am proving
anything but as an act of service and love to you all. Christ died that we might
be free from sin, no longer bound to it, and to walk in the Spirit, in truth and reality.

But until you see disbelief has often clouded the words of Paul, and taken away
its power and profound meaning. Paul says he gained righteousness through Christ,
he means a righteous holy walk, which is impossible without Christ and the Holy Spirit.
But do you have the faith to see this, or does disbelief still shroud your mind and
heart?

Couple points of observation about the following verse.

So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling

a. Book, chapter and verse were added by men and if one reads the whole letter up to this point it becomes all to clear that this is written unto SAVED, IMMERSED disciples of JESUS who are partakers of the GOSPEL, are called SAINTS in the present tense and the context indicates the meaning of the statement.

b. The word continually is not found in all verses and can be cherry picked to support a working for doctrine, when taken out of context and not applied unto the rest of the letter.

c. The verse states to work out YOUR salvation. YOUR is indicative of something already possessed. NOT something that has not yet been acquired. The King James translates the word YOUR OWN... comes from 1438 in the Greek
ἑαυτοῦ Your own is POSSESSIVE and indicates something already possessed.

d. IT DOES NOT SAY-->WORK FOR SALVATION

e. The whole point is to fit it out......to grow, mature, fit out with the fruits of the spirit etc.....NOT WORK FOR IT TO GET OR OBTAIN.
I think the truth is mate for some reason you see bad in Good verses of scripture.

I do apologize but I am having trouble even getting past the first paragraph in what you write anymore, therefore, I won't be able to respond to your posts. I have NO idea what you are trying to say in posts like this one.

The thing is, there is an objective truth in scripture. Not everyone is a cherry picker and some look at the entirety of scripture and are given understanding. These are usually the ones who are willing to admit when they don't understand something while cherry pickers typically won't budge from their position regardless of overwhelming evidence to the contrary of what they believe.

What about her?

I responded to you quot about the drunk driver with the question you asked.

I said extreme and that God can still step in and gave my experience.

You did not say about the widow being a believer.

So let's assume she is

I ask you what about her?
What does it mean to fall from grace?
What is grace?
What does grace mean to you?

The Holy Spirit leads and guides into ALL truth JESUS said.........there are numerous reasons why every flavor of doctrine is found within the ranks of Christianity (so called)

1. A person must be born again to understand the word
2. Levels of understanding after salvation are based upon spiritual growth, maturity and honesty applied unto the study of the word.
3. A refusal to accept the truth concerning any particular line of thought
4. A refusal to acknowledge said truth because it contradicts what a parent, relative, pastor, deacon or friend believes/believed
5. ETC.

There is really only one truth concerning everything that can be found in the word......God is not the author of confusion and if their is division of thought on particular truths....either one side or both sides are wrong.....as much as many like to think there is a fence to straddle......and what I mean is....

a. There is only 1 (one) way of salvation, not two, three etc.
b. There is only 1 (one) biblical water "baptism" not two, three etc.
c. There is only 1 (one) mediator between God and men not 2, 3 etc.
d. There is only one biblical definition of what a church is not 2, 3 etc.

etc.
