Then why were ppl in HIS church getting drunk in the 'spirit'?

Your defense of him is not at all surprising, btw.
It is defending the wolves in the sheepfold. "Don't worry, sheep, they just have differing opinions and want to fleece you. And I approve this message."

But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, 2 Peter 2:1

And this is what Bill Johnson did, he brought the Toronto Blasphemy to Bethel Church and split the church. The sheep left, and the goats appeared.

Well all I can say is that I spent a month in Bethel Church last year there and never once saw anyone drunk like you are taking about. I saw a bunch of Christ loving believers that loved God and other people with all their heart.

I saw them take up an offering for a church in their own community that maliciously lied and slandered this whole church. This church was going to have to shut down but the leadership of which Bill Johnson is a part of took up an offering to stop the financial ruin of the very ones that were maliciously slandering them.

That is Christ-likeness in action. You are free to judge them however you want with your own personal knowledge of them.

I am about 3 hours from this church I too have never seen anything like this . But I do know that the video does have many location other than the one in Redding California. That being said what the video does show is not right :)

Soooo...you are unable to discern "smoking marijuana in the Spirit" as blasphemous? WOW!
if you weren't so judgmental and could have given one the benefit of the doubt as to not seeing what the person had seen and wanting to get confirmation. This is why one should be slow to speak and fast to listen.

If you practiced the same you'd see I've apologized already. ;)

There are always people doing things in the flesh especially if they are young believers. A lot of things are people just doing things in their own flesh. But sometimes there are some legitimate things of the Spirit too.

I can just image what would happen to Jesus if He was here now on the earth. There would be videos saying : "Local preacher spits in the eye of a blind man". God wouldn't act like this. God is a God of order. This is blasphemy.

There are always 2 sides to every coin.

Speaking of 2 sides of the coin. Here is Dr. Michael Brown speaking about John McArthur's take on the things of the Spirit and his "strange fire" beliefs.

Comparing any of this stuff to Jesus' miracles by the Holy Spirit is folly. Falling on the ground and seizing is nothing compared miraculous instantaneous healing of life-long incurable disorders, diseases, or maladies.

yes but the context of the video is disturbing and I do since offensiveness to suggesting smoking the Holy Spirit. That was wrong brother. we have to call them out on that stuff. I have seen mighty moves of the Holy Spirit and Never anything like that . My Pastor a Pentecostal Pastor too would tell them to stop. and would ask them to leave now. 1 cor 14:40

40 Let all things be done decently and in order.

The excuses people make are remarkable... It's all about compromise, except for those who hold to sound doctrine and point out errors? They're not to be tolerated. In fact, in these videos they are rebuked by these blasphemers as "religious pharisees". :)

You pray with your head? Srsly? That's scary. You pray with your heart. And you have hooks?

Even if Johnson left the weed smokin' spirit thingy, he has other foolish beliefs that need dealt with.

Yes, those darn hooks! And you bring up living water from your belly. I think he said when you do that "Don't use your head" which is always the desire of those to whom they are preaching heresy.;)

He's a theological train wreck. But some went to his "church" and the people there are the best "believers" in all the world, so it's "all good".
