Where precisely in the bible does it state that we will answer for every word we've ever said? Or be shown our sins? The dead know nothing, and those in heaven will not remember what they did here on earth..

Here's a couple that come to mind.

Matthew 12:36-37 But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

Matthew 16:27 For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and will then repay every man according to his deeds.

we do need to be saved daily from the clutches of evil... you should know this.. coz we can not save our selfs...

We need to understand the new creation in Christ.

The parable of the unforgiven servant in which the kingdom of heaven "may be compared to".... Matthew 18

We need to read all scripture in context of the finished work of Christ and what He did on the cross. To say that our sins are not forgiven in the believer after the cross is NOT the gospel.

We will forgive because we are in Christ now and have His nature in us - we need to have our minds renewed to this truth and we will walk in it.

Matt 18:35 says that God will not forgive unless you forgive from your heart.

This was Jesus giving them the law. Moses 2.0 as it shows their need for a Savior in order for Jesus to create in them a new heart that loves and forgives just like their Father does in Jesus.

Love always forgives - it's in our nature now because we are in Christ - created in righteousness and holiness.

We have a new heart now - so we can't really have unforgiveness in our hearts anymore which is why Jesus said ....

"If you do not forgive from your heart" ....this is to expose their need for a new heart which always forgives.

Acts 15:8-9 (NASB)
[SUP]8 [/SUP] "And God, who knows the heart, testified to them giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He also did to us;

[SUP]9 [/SUP] and He made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.

We love now from our new hearts in Christ and our hearts cannot sin.

So Jesus's verse above in Matthew 18 would not apply to the person in Christ as it is impossible for them to have sin in their heart and to not forgive. We have the very nature of God inside us now - righteousness and holiness.

Romans 5:5 (NASB)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.


We need to preach and teach the true gospel of the grace of Christ so that the believer in Christ can grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus and walk out who they already are in their inner man - the new creation in Christ - created in righteousness and holiness.

When we see Christ as in a mirror - we see true selves being reflected back and the Holy Spirit transforms us outwardly to reflect Christ that is in us now. 2 Cor 3:17-18

I've already stated that we need to avoid evil daily. However, the "goal of our faith" is JESUS. And He has ALREADY saved us for our entire lifetime. So you are wrong on that.

The ONLY way to lose salvation is to completely deny Jesus. I haven't done that, nor will I ever. So sorry, but I have MANY fruits.

you are recieving salvation of your souls daily..

if you slip up and become a repenter who doesnt repent from the heart you are dead and your soul will no longer continue to recieve salvation..

you have become a believer who show no fruits..

So if we ARE to be held to account for our words, then God must be a liar, because He says that the former things on earth will NOT be remembered in heaven.. So tell me, is God wrong?

They will not be remembered but it does not deny the fact that we as believers will stand before Christ and what we have done as believers will be judged, not our sins cause that's already been jusdged but I think we will be judged on what we have built on within ourselves and what we have encouraged others to build on.

Anyway that's my understanding.

Jimbo, please don't take this the wrong way, as I believe that your heart is in the right place, but why do you call people that don't agree with you, cowards?

I dont call all people cowards im only calling some people cowards who have mocked me for months and denied the truth for months cowards ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,coz the bibles say that those who deny truth are cowards... and it is also written that those to take the plank out of others eyes and not there own are also cowards..

The whole world is forgiven, but not saved, salvation occurs when you receive the Holy Spirit. They are 2 separate transactions, the first was done without any choice from us (the cross). The 2nd is our response to the first.

Okie dokie.....you don't have to agree.

What I am attempting to do is to show you the new creation in Christ and thus to rely on Christ and all that He has done for us. In my experience - the religion of self-works and self-righteousness is a very poor substitute for Christ Himself.

Calling people names is probably not a wise thing to be doing especially if we have the false belief that our works save us.

Jimbo we can't have it both ways.

If we cannot save ourselves as you say then we can't save ourselves period.
So works are not there to help save us.

Works are evidence of being saved, wanting to be like Jesus as he has asked us to do and be.

It starts with this

John 13:34-35
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Daily works will not save you. They won't get you into heaven. I'm sorry you don't want to accept this truth, but it IS true but apparently you don't like being proven wrong.. Otherwise you wouldn't be getting so defensive. Someday when (IF) you get to heaven, Jesus will ask you "why did you believe your works would save you? It was ME who saved you"..
