I know there are a lot of women (and men, but mostly women) on here who like Joyce Meyer a lot. Here is a clip exposing some of her doctrines that easily fall under "doctrines of demons".

Jesus ceased to be God (no longer deity/lost his divine essence)
Jesus suffered at the hands of demons in hell
The atonement didn't take place on the cross
Believe all this or you aren't saved
Jesus was the first born again man
People are little gods (in the divine/deity sense) - not in this clip but is something she teaches in line with all WoF teachers
Christians are sinless (if not, Jesus died in vain according to her)

Anyway... Back to the OP. This is part of some research I did on Kundalini a while ago. I don't remember the source of this information, although it cites it's own sources. Interesting stuff.

KUNDALINI ENERGY is typically described as a powerful energy source lying dormant in the form of a coiled serpent at the base of the human spine. When freed it reputedly has the capacity to effect great physical and spiritual healings. Christina and Stanislav Grof, New Age authors of the book The Stormy Search for the Self, describe how the awakening of the Kundalini energy can be triggered by an advanced spiritual teacher or guru. And how the awakening can bring up memories of past psychological and physical traumas. The Grofs state that "individuals involved in this process might find it difficult to control their behavior; during powerful rushes of Kundalini energy, they often emit various involuntary sounds and their bodies move in strange and unexpected patterns. Among the most common manifestations ... are unmotivated and unnatural laughter or crying, talking tongues ... and imitating a variety of animal sounds and movements" (pp. 78-79). The Grofs state that "careful study of the manifestations of Kundalini awakening confirm that this process, although sometimes very intense and shattering, is essentially healing."

Bhaghan Shree Rajneesh, the former Oregon guru, tells one of his followers in his book Dance Your Way to God, "just be joyful ... God is not serious ... this world cannot fit with a theological god ... so let this be your constant reminder--that you have to dance your way to God, to laugh your way to God" (p. 229). Often referred to as being "drunk on the divine," Rajneesh encouraged his followers to come and "drink" from him. Bhagvan's spiritual "wine" was often passed along with a single touch to the head. Many of his Sannyasins would fall to the floor in ecstasy after their encounters with Rajneesh.

Ramakrishna, an Indian saint, daily went into "samadhi," a trance in which one involuntarily falls down unconscious and enters a rapturous state of super-conscious bliss (ananda), complete with beautiful visions and often involving astral projection. These states could last anywhere from a few minutes to several days and were often accompanied by uncontrollable laughter or weeping. He could send others into this state with a single touch to the head or chest" (unpublished article by John Rice on file at SCP).

Swami Baba Muktananda, would transfer what was called "guru's grace" to his followers through Shaktipat (physical touch). This "grace" triggered the gradual awakening of the Kundalini which in turn produced various physical and emotional manifestations. Manifestations included uncontrollable laughing, roaring, barking, hissing, crying, shaking, etc. Some devotees became mute or unconscious. Many felt themselves being infused withfeelings of great joy and peace and love. At other times the "fire" of Kundalini was so overpowering they would find themselves involuntarily hyperventilating to cool themselves down. (Performer Muktananda follower Joy Smith.)

AFRICAN KUNG BUSHMEN OF THE KALAHAIR. The Grofs, in their book The Stormy Search for the Self, also cite an interesting parallel between the Kundalini awakening and the trance dance of the African Kung bushmen. During rituals the bushmen "enter a profound altered state of consciousness associated with the release of powerful emotions such as anger, anxiety, and fear. They are often unable to maintain an upright position and are overcome by violent shaking. Following these dramatic experiences, they typically enter a state of ecstatic rapture. According to the bushmen tradition, the dance releases from the base of the spine a cosmic healing force called ntum or `medicine.' This is then passed by direct physical contact from one person to another."

QIGONG (ancient Chinese practice). Yan Xin, a Chinese Qigong master known to most of the over one billion people in China, gave a talk in San Francisco in 1991. 1,700 devotees--most of them Chinese--showed up at the Masonic auditorium to listen to Yan. The San Francisco Chronicle on May 16, 1991, reported that "minutes" into his talk, several began experiencing what Yan calls spontaneous movements. The Chronicle reporter said that "before long, the scene began to resemble a Pentecostal prayer meeting with many people waving their arms and making unintelligible sounds." Yan told his audience, "Those who are sensitive might start having some strong physical sensations--or start laughing or crying. Don't worry. This is quite normal." The article said that "since 1985, when a Qigong revival started sweeping China, 50 to 60 million Chinese have gone to see Yan."

SUBUD. According to The Encyclopedia of American Religions by J. Gordon Melton, the central element of the Subud faith is the practice of "latihan." Latihan is the way one surrenders to the power of God. It is a group process. The Encyclopedia says, "The latihan proper is a time of moving the consciousness beyond mind and desire and allowing the power to enter and do its work ... often accompanying the spontaneous period are various body movements and vocal manifestations--cries, moans, laughter and singing. These occur in the voluntary surrender of the self to the power. During this time, people report sensations of love and freedom and often, healings. All reach a higher level of consciousness.

So they faked their voices? Be real man. If anything they just played clips of different sermons in the background and the audio is legit.
Of course it is, because it aligns with your own version of what you believe is true. That is your right and it is mine not to listen to what I know was debunked as a fraud by a MacArthur pastor/follower with an agenda.

Grace did Joyce say or not say -

Jesus ceased to be God (no longer deity/lost his divine essence)
Jesus suffered at the hands of demons in hell

Jesus was the first born again man
People are little gods (in the divine/deity sense) - not in this clip but is something she teaches in line with all WoF teachers

Yes or no?

What did she mean in context according to you?
Do you think what she said is heretical or not?
Being that I do not follow her or her teachings I am not qualified to offer an opinion on what you are ranting about. If you want to attack me for not "defending" your version of truth and faith so be it.

I remember when I was about ten years of age, I was watching a news story this crook who had stolen money, had women, the list went on and on. Then they show a picture of him, he was standing high above this huge crowd of people and he looked like the biggest con man I had ever seen. Anyway, in front of the crowd he says, I am Pentecostal, from the crown of my head to the sole of my feet, and as he said that he danced a little jig and it brought the house down. That was many years ago and the same kind of foolishness is still going on today...only a lot bigger.

If there is a gift or manifestation of Holy Spirit in ones life...there will always be a counterfeit to cause confusion.

I know that the laughter began with Rodney Howard Browne was for healing of emotions. And he is a great teacher and Pastor.

There's no respect anymore for men in any office, from the church to the world.

Would you tell Peter he was under the kundalini (sp) spirit when he fell into a trance?

First the questions were directed to grace7. Secondly, the questions are legit and the answers are in the video, so, no opinion necessary unless you wish to justify her teachings by answering the context question. Hardly an attack or rant, although you're uptight, defensive, and offering accusations with documentation. Maybe you're attacking and "ranting?"

Actually, Peter would agree with me.

2 But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. 2 Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned; 3 and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

Peter would admit he was under a satanic spirit?

What happened to the scripture that says no one can say Jesus is my Lord except by Holy Spirit?

Did I ever say he was? I think you are the one who implied that.

Peter would be quick to condemn these people and their teaching. Anyone with an iota of discernment or biblical knowledge can see their heresy.

I say this honestly without malice...you don't know what you are talking about. Plus I think you have a reading comprehension problem.

He's an outright heretic, fleecer of sheep, crook and con-man. And you endorse him. Then you lament men's offices not being respected. Your heretic friend is part of that reason, and you're an accomplice.

The only Christians I've ever run into who say things like this were Baptists.

I don't know why and it's sad. We all will give an account for our words.

And I'm not going to give you anymore reason to speak this way, so I'm done.

Repent..

Hi Stones: Rodney Howard Browne was actually teaching on HELL when for no apparent reason he begin to laugh uncontrollably, and from there it spread. There is nothing funny about hell and God the Spirit would never lead people to laugh about it, but the spirit of Satan would.

Yes, abide by your last word please, and I mean that sincerely.

There are more than just Baptists who know your false teacher friend to be a fraud. Many evangelicals know this. Presbyterians, Lutherans and more.

You, dear, are the one who needs her eyes opened and need to repent yourself. By the way, we will "speak this way" about false teachers without any prompting from you. The Word of God gives us plenty of reason to do so and there is a plenteous supply of heresy of which the shepherds will warn the sheep.

Not to be impolite an bud in ,but I guess I will .
we also must keep this in mind.
Mathew 7:21“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
Its a reminder about who we serve and how we should serve a Holy God !
Blessings

I hope you don't mind if I add to this, and I have to commend you for your much less coarse approach than me. I'm still working on that...

But this passage also sheds some more light on what God considers "lawless"

9 that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, 10 and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. 11 For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, 12 in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.

The warnings need to be heeded.

This is interesting since Joyce Meyer is not part of the WOF movement. The only one to say we are little gods is Kenneth Copeland.

Everyone is a heretic to some one else. Case in point

Here is a website talking about the "heresies" of John McArthur

blank John Macarthur's Heretical Teaching Regarding the Blood of Christ

Here's another

John MacArthur accuses half-a-billion Christians of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit

Another

A True Church - John MacArthur's Damning Doctrine

Here is another..

John MacArthur:- “His beliefs & Teachings”

This is not just something aimed at super-rich big-name preachers; it also applies to all preachers who try to use churches to climb the spiritual social ladder to become famous with peer status. MacArthur, in 2011 earned over half a million dollars by working part-time for his own ‘Grace to You’ organisation and part time at The Master’s College.

And that does NOT include his salary as a pastor, book royalties and speaking fees, etc. (thewatchmanawakes.com ), so his total income each year is estimated at over $1 million. His two sons run the Grace to You organisation, so they, too, reap big rewards.

To make this more dubious, Grace to You paid out over $4 million to his son-in-law’s company over six years. The company receives over three quarters a million a year to produce MacArthur’s videos. Also, one must observe his other activities: a number of researches into his life show an affiliation with Freemasonry, paganism (see A-703) and druids. But, what does he teach? Scripture warns us never to accept or promote teachers who teach against scripture. It says we are to mark them:

Unquote:

There are tons of more websites dedicated the to "heretic " John McArthur. We can do this for every preacher that is well known.

So, you can see that there are people out there that will rip apart every minister that disagrees with them in some area.

Personally I believe McArthur has some good things to say and some things that are off - just like every other preacher - but this is just an example to show that we can exhibit malice towards anyone and publicly insult them.

I certainly don't endorse the type of bad behavior in attacking our fellow brethren like this just because they have a different view or maybe it was something he said 20 years ago and it was done as an "illustration" purpose only.
Brother, how do you defend these beliefs of Joyce Meyers?

Jesus ceased to be God (no longer deity/lost his divine essence)
Jesus suffered at the hands of demons in hell
The atonement didn't take place on the cross
Believe all this or you aren't saved
Jesus was the first born again man
People are little gods (in the divine/deity sense) - not in this clip but is something she teaches in line with all WoF teachers
Christians are sinless (if not, Jesus died in vain according to her)

These teachings need rebuked at every turn. Even if she isn't part of the WoF movement, but she really is, these heresies are bad enough.
