Now, maybe, just maybe, some of you all will end the campaign to attack those with which KG is attacking and disagreeing with, and supporting the sowing of discord?

I call on KG to fess up and own her false accusation where she stated I don't believe in free grace. She also owes one to SovereignGrace as well for her false accusations. And attacks.

So two things; end the campaign of attack on those who you don't agree with, and the supporting one another in the endeavor by deriding, falsely accusing as well. And, own the false accusations, apologize and recant them. You know, actually be Christian.

There,we talk it out and see that we mainly agree. No need to be enemies. We agree except I believe God has promises He still has not fulfilled from the Ot to the Jews. So there we differ. God still has separate issues with the Jews that have nothing to do with us.
They received the promised land in Joshua's day. So, their possessing it was fulfilled.

Now, where's the milk and honey? :D :) ;)

I also call upon tourist to do so as well. The false accusation was unnecessary. Substantiate your accusation or put an end to it. I've not attacked you, nor do I agree with your theological viewpoints. I couldn't care less what you believe to be honest.

But as far as the lies being spewed on here? That's where the problem is. You all need to own them and fess up. All you're doing is sowing discord and slandering others.

Now, what promises do you see that need to be fulfilled? I am not that deep in this, so you may get a bunch of 'I don't know' and have to study and get back with you.

They will have both! :) Their Messiah and the land.
True, for God will send Israel 2 witnesses to turn them to the truth that Jesus is their Messiah.

The beast persecutes all people that hold the testimony that Jesus is Lord and Savior.

The resurrection happens, and then the beast makes war against Israel.God comes back with all His saints and saves Israel, and defeats the world.

The kingdom restored to Israel.

Act 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
Act 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
Act 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Jer 46:27 But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him afraid.
Jer 46:28 Fear thou not, O Jacob my servant, saith the LORD: for I am with thee; for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have driven thee: but I will not make a full end of thee, but correct thee in measure; yet will I not leave thee wholly unpunished.

Eze 39:21 And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.
Eze 39:22 So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward.
Eze 39:23 And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.
Eze 39:24 According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.
Eze 39:25 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;
Eze 39:26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.
Eze 39:27 When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;
Eze 39:28 Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.
Eze 39:29 Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

So, God doesn't choose in accordance to His good will and pleasure? Then how does He choose?
~Php 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

This is to the Spirit filled Christian.

If you all want to read a really good book about God's Sovereignty, try A W Pinks works, it is grand. Excellent work.

You may also enjoy 'The Existence and Attributes of God" Stephen Charnock.

Also of course Scripture which both books support and elaborate on.

It is because many are uneducated Biblically that mistakes like the OP in this thread are made and posted. I've tried to help the OP to clear up her errors, but she will have none of that. So, we disagree, no biggie. It's just the false accusations that need to be cleared up that KG has made. That's all.

I suggest some further study so these mistakes, such as in the OP will be limited in the future. :)

But it is God who works His will in believers. It is His will that saves ppl. Romans 9:16, John 1:13.

Well, Jeremiah 3:8 says He divorced Israel. I think it means more along the lines of giving them over to the Assyrians.

And Jeremiah also says that God makes a New Covenant with Israel. It's not nice to fool God's chosen child. :)

I was only pointing out the fact that you used that scripture out of context. It's not good to develop a habit of this and then try to justify it.

It will lead to wrong thinking.

The above never happened, but there are countless times you've done this in your charismatic belief system, or whatever you call it.

It will lead to wrong thinking.
You're proof sister.

Nope, not outta context at all. Those who received Jesus where those who were born of God.[John 1:12,13]
Those who are saved are not saved by the will of man, but of God who shows mercy.[Romans 9:16]
God works His will in the believers' lives.[Philippians 2:13]

It will lead to wrong thinking.
Sadly it does.

His sole purpose seems to be to tear up those who dare to disagree with him.
Tourist? Got some questions for you. If someone told you that you eat escargot and frog legs for dinner every night, what would you're first reaction be?

I'm going with more amusement over a little surprise.

But then what happens if that same person says, "You and your kind always eat escargot and frog legs every night"? Annoyance shows up a little by then, right? Just a little. Maybe the person doesn't know what your kind is like, so you can't really hold it against that person. But aren't you going to explain that's not true at some point?

Next thing you know just about everyone is telling you that you eat escargot and frog legs. (BTW, I actually like both foods. I just can't afford them. So, no put down on the food itself. I just picked foods no one eats every night.)

At what point does annoyance take over? And don't you then try to explain what your kind does do other than that?

Then what happens if you go out of your way to try to explain to that person that it is simply not true? AND, at one point in time do you get to the point of realizing you really did explain your position, but that person is still repeating the same thing? And at what point in time, do you call that a lie?

This isn't escargot and frog legs. This is what we believe about God. We have, multiple times and in multiple ways, said we do believe in freedom of choice. There is just more to it than that. And we do believe in saving grace. And we do believe in God's sovereignty. But the lies keep getting repeated.

So, ultimate question for you -- at what point in time wouldn't you get to the point of tearing down the liars instead of the lie?

I truly believe God saves whomever he chooses to save. I also believe our wisdom and knowledge of God does not affect his decision. Matter of fact, when we make it to heaven, we're going to be shocked on how much we got wrong -- all of us.

On that, it does not matter if you are Reformed or not. God saves for his purposes and his glory, not because we're just peachy-keen, well-informed people.

BUT when supposed sisters in Christ lie about what "my kind" believe over and over and over, it does piss me off!!!!

It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy.[Romans 9:16]

Nowhere is man's will listed in the above. Man can not make himself will by exercising free will. Its not dependent upon man's will. God does not need or require anything from man in saving sinners from their sins.

And we know the name of that New Covenant -- Jesus.

God wasn't fooling, but neither did he choose all of Israel.

If Lot could have found a few other people in his city that also loved God, then the city wouldn't have been destroyed for their sake. Not for the sake of the rest of the city folk. Same thing for Israel and Gentiles.

Free grace, not free will. (Hey, by default Reformed don't believe the will is free. Free choice, free grace, yes, but not will.)
