It looks like you will have two antichrist,the first beast is the fore-runner, setting things up for the second beast, the antichrist himself.this one will cause everyone to receive the mark, and the ones that will receive it are the ones that are against christianity.. the believers will be slaughtered , because they will not take the mark. That is why I said that the Roman Government is the beast,because they slaughtered the christians, shedding innocent blood during the earlier persecution ., and shedding innocent blood is an abomination to God. the abomination of desolation. headed for destruction.
I believe it will be a microchip implanted under the skin with a hypodermic needle,and will be used as a tracking device,GPS,for humans,so they will know everyone's location on earth.
The mark of the beast has to do with technology,to cause the world to operate smoother,find lost people,and to cut down on crime.

All information about the person will be put on the chip,and can be accessed when their right hand or forehead is scanned.Their identification,their finances,their medical records,etc.

The man of sin,the beast,believes in no personal God,and does not honor the God of his fathers,but in his estate he will honor the God of forces,or the power of nature as his God,and be in to the occult,witchcraft,and spiritual evolution through nature.
The occult believes in the power of numbers,and grouping numbers together,and timing numbers together,thinking it will give even more power than the basic numbers.
6 is the number of a man,so the man of sin attributed the number 666 to himself,a triple 6,believing it will give him more power to accomplish his goal,and succeeding in establishing his kingdom,and more power through nature.

When someone receives the gospel they are bought by what the Lord paid on the cross. When they are unsaved they have been sold into the slavery of sin: "Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright."
Rev 13 is talking about a time when the congregations of the church age are overrun by the spirit of error, when those in the congregations are not allowed to preach without having been marked by the wrong spirit. The true believers who have the true gospel are all rejected in that arena. Just as 'buying and selling' is Bible lingo (parable language) for something different than literal buying and selling in a store, so the idea of a mark is not meaning a literal mark. True believers are said to have been sealed in their foreheads, meaning that they have been given the mind of Christ, his spirit, not a physical literal mark on the forehead. Similarly, those in the false congregations have the spirit of their master, not a literal physical mark.

Or Islam, what happened in the Roman persecutions under Nero, and the following emperors for nearly 350 years, could be a similitude of what's happening now days given that just last year Fox News and several other credible news sources reported 90,000 Christian martyrs around the world. And Islamic jihadists are the most powerful driving force behind it. Also there's been a mosque built on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem since the 7th century, that has several inscriptions stating God certainly has no Son" it's also forbidden to take a bible on to the mound. Seems pretty anti Christ to me
The mark of the beast is symbolic, it is spiritual. Being on their foreheads means their way of thinking matches Satan's way of thinking. Being on their right hand means that not only are these deeds that follow that thinking, but that they are labeled justified as being the righteous thing to do.
Having said that, however, it is possible for this to take on physical form, even though those who act like this already have the mark of the beast spiritually. Just like when God writes His law on His people's foreheads and on their hearts- it is not physically written, but spiritually.
For example, let's say there's a gang. (I'm not promoting gangs lol, it's just an example). Someone in the gang lays down the rules that define their gang, and both old and new members adhere to these rules- that is spiritual. But two other gangs form. In order to be a gang, their defining aspects have to differ from the others. So they create a physical symbol- a certain tattoo. Now a member can use that for identification. But, they were genuinely a member of that gang before the physical symbol was created.
Likewise, whether or not there is ever a physical mark of the beast, those who seek dishonest gain already have it, if they don't have the Holy Spirit. And now we get into what is covered by grace- which is a whole other topic.
And another topic is when will Christ return? He could come before a physical chip/mark is common-place. We don't know. But the mark of the beast is already in effect- spiritually- which is the only way that counts in God's eyes.

The saved are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise which is the down payment of our eternal inheritance....to me the mark is the final moment when God forces all men and women to make a choice...Yes I understand the mark is of the beast and his system..yet it seems to be the finality of humanitie's chance at choice.....another interesting fact is that ALL who will not receive the LOVE OF THE TRUTH will be deluded into accepting the mark that they ALL MIGHT BE DAMNED (judged) whatever it is, it is also tied to the ability to buy, sell or get gain which tells me it is tied to some sort of financial system.....all I know is this...

The mark will be will be either his own mark, or his name, or the number of the beast. there will not be just one ensignia. these marks will be physically administered through the world systems of government all over the world. no chip. everybody will not have scanners to determine whose who. . the merchants and vendors will not sell to you without the mark, and you will not be able to buy from them without the mark... This my friends is merely a trade mark like the ones you see on big companies around the world,. they all have trade marks, and they sell to vendors and merchants.
In the Bible the forehead represents Thoughts and the right hand Actions. In Revelation the mark is a Satanic version of the seal God places on the elect.
In 2 Chronicles Solomon is seen as a figure for the Antichrist in so far as his Idolatry is concerned he was also an extremely rich man. It is no coincidence that this verse is found in " Chronicles 9:13 ...

can you tell me some more????? as i said in my first post i think it has something to do with disobedience as well because it says in rev14 those who didnt take the mark were those who kept the commandments of God and witness of Jesus.......... is there biblical evidence that its this stigma of sin because charagma means a literal thing like branding a cow........ but it could be figurative of course its interesting to ponder these things what else could i do with my time????
