no, the " elect " know that taking verses out of context, and purposely leaving out parts of verses , as you did above, to push an agenda, is wicked false teaching.

those of us that care enough about what we believe to want to handle the Word of God with extreme care see right through this deceitfulness. I have one agenda. Biblical truth.
I am sorry you feel this way gb9.

But then as I am addressing these words as they are written and you do not like
the consequences then ofcourse I am the evil person.

But you realise all I am pointing to is obeying Christs teaching, which you are now
calling evil. These very words condemn you before the throne of grace.

This I do not understand, how you are commited to Christ and can speak such words.
I have no fear as I stand before the King, because I am giving glory to Him and His
glorious words, which last into eternity.

Picture the Lord on judgement day. Peter, what were you doing? Lord I was repeating
Johns words of obedience to the commandments of your Son Jesus that bring life and
freedom in the Holy Spirit.

And He will turn to you, and say, why did you call this wicked and evil? What will be
your response? This is like spiritual suicide. You have to truly ignore what you think is
my agenda, because I am just reflecting the words of the Living God the judge of us all.

Wake up oh sleeper and listen to the King. He is our King, the Lord of Hosts, who we have
been brought close to by the blood of Jesus Christ His son. Amen.

this has nothing to do with feelings. you left out the first part of 2nd John v.7 when you quoted it earlier today. you changed the meaning by leaving it out. this is wrong, wrong, wrong. we cannot just leave out parts of the Bible, and then claim to speak truth.

it does seem that one of us does not like or agree with parts of the Bible. since I am a huge proponent of proper context, I guess that means the person who is offended by the Word would be you , mr false teacher jens.

Copy/pasting isn't so much of a deal, but plagiarism is.:)
Only if you didn't write it the first time...otherwise,

I call it getting old and senile. (old folks tend to repeat the same stories 50 times in one sitting.....lol, jk)

Nah.. Sticks and stone gb ...some folks think they are annointed in oil, every thing just slides off....some don't realize they are bathing in kerosene....all it takes is one match (or bad times or bankruptcy in the case of prosperity teachers) and it all goes up in flames and turns to dust.

true story- I have a cousin who was quick to point out what a good person he was, and how wicked and sinful the world is, and how he was right with God. then, he had 2 heart attacks within a few weeks of each other last year. I went to visit him at the hospital, and he said " I do not understand why God allowed this to happen, I trusted him for my health, I lived right". I really did not respond, but it was sad to see him so broken and confused. this is what self-righteous thinking will do.

he is o.k. now, I have not talked to him in several months, hopefully his faith has recovered along with his health.

 Amen. I do not want to be associated with anything you support.

Read what John writes
"Anyone who welcomes them shares in their wicked work."
2 John 1:11

I want nothing of your wicked work or who you support.
I do not want your blood counted against me.

When I say to a wicked person, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood.
Ezek 3:18

if you wanted proof GB9, There you have it.

1. He thinks your evil
2. He wants nothing to do with you

for this reason

1. Nothing you say will even remotely come to be seen by him as any semblance of truth
2. He will twist and turn whatever you say, as long as he is right, and you are wrong (in his view, not in reality)
3. When you show him his faults. (like taking a passage out of context and ignoring a verse) instead of repenting, he will further attack you.

then he will go tell people how great he is and holy and righteous he is, and how he loves God. And then wonder why people treat him like they do.

He also does not realize, We do want to fellowship with him, even though he calls us evil (like he just did you)

There is a point of absurdity, when I just laugh. It is because if quoting scripture
is wrong, the full or the short version, you know people are just into hate and antagonism.

If I push praise songs, that is somehow not obscuring my wicked heart and evil.
But do you see the problem they have? They want to project me as evil and wicked but
have no ammunition. That is called lying and delusion. So my response is "I love you"
and so does Jesus.

If the law speaks legalism to you, then you are still under condemnation. Paul knew the
law as a pharisee and found freedom through the Holy Spirit and quoted the 10 commandments
and demonstrated how love in Christ, fulfills the law.

The reason I remember this, is because my heart rejoices in the gospel of Christ and His word
and I echo the praise due His name.

And the divide between us is so obvious. It is an emotional reaction one, yet some claim I am
just like they used to be. I doubt that else you would still be like I am.

My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me,
so far from my cries of anguish? My God, I cry out by day, but you do not answer,
by night, but I find no rest.
Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One; you are the one Israel praises.
In you our ancestors put their trust; they trusted and you delivered them.
To you they cried out and were saved; in you they trusted and were not put to shame.
Psalm 22:1-5

Amen, Jesus is Lord of all.

2 John 1 simple says deny that love is obeying Christs commandments is a wicked work.

Now I am happy to have fellowship with anyone who supports obeying Christs words and
commandments.

So if I am told I am evil to say this, then obviously by implication they are agreeing with
a wicked work.

It is like saying a murderer is evil and then saying how dare you say they are evil.
This is the typical tactic of liars and deceivers to disconnect truth from behaviour and just
end up in a slander match. But the Lord is not mocked. And thankfully I rest in Him and His
arms of safety and love.

The point of absurdity is when you one is shown to be in sin, then hide it or deny it, then attack the brother trying to show you them their sin.

it shows you are unteachable, and unrepentant. No matter how holy you think you are.

No, it says that those who love God obey his commands.

And then it says who deceivers and antichrists are.

[SUP]7 [/SUP]For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

But you deny this, which proves GB is right,, You are a deciever, nothing else to add.

Now I am happy to have fellowship with anyone who supports obeying Christs words and

Then you would be happy to fellowship with us, But oh wait, You think we deny this, Because you do not know us, you only think you do.
So if I am told I am evil to say this, then obviously by implication they are agreeing with
a wicked work.

You were not told you were evil for saying this, You were told you were evil for leaving a verse out and saying John said something he never said.

But again, You can not hear what anyone who disagree with you says, So you will never hear the truth of what is really being said, thus you must twist it and lie about it.

Your right the lord is not mocked, Yet you mock him day after day after day.

by slandering his children, Coming up wiht lies which are not true, Saying people say things they never said, all in a vein attempt to justify yourself.

Good luck with that. You have been exposed for what you really are..

I a sure everyone agrees, any hope for you repenting is getting less and less every day you harden your heart.. All we are left to do then is to expose your lies.

ps. Calling someone a liar, when YOU ARE THE ONE PROVEN TO BE LIEING, is quite foolish, and hypocritical

EG - Let me put John simply, if one opposes obeying Christs commandments one is a wicked
person in sin.

It seems if one is the person resisting Gods word and in sin with an unrepentant heart,
that is being unteachable and stiff necked.

I can think of not clearer way of differentiating between those walking in love with Christ
and showing the state of others hearts in rebellion.

No one can convict someone of sin when they are quoting scriptural truth.
It is actually apostacy and blasphemy on the part of the speaker.

In Israel one would be excuted under the law of Moses. Under the law of Christ
one is forgiven until the day of judgement. It is that serious.

This is the fruit of the poison some have taken into their lives and why Korahs
rebellion ended in them being sent to hell.

Jude put it like this

the Lord at one time delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe.
Jude 1:5

People love to feel safe even when they fall into apostacy and blasphemy.
But so did the people of Israel.

I think in your repetition of the same point is somewhat dying ....
John in 2 John highlights deceivers who specifically deny Jesus as coming in the flesh,
but this is just one example of deceivers and those who are against the Lord.

Now if you want to hold deceivers only take this one form, then you are missing
the general thrust of the passage.

It amuses me how you want only one limited interpretation of deceivers but are
happy to condemn me for some arbitrary sin which you cannot quite get to grips with.

If you were a prosecution lawyer you would fail in all your cases. lol

What a joke, and this is the best your side can come up with?

And who am I attacking? Those who stand against Gods word. Funny how this is
evil behaviour and something worthy of being called evil....

lol - if EG has the energy this will go on for pages and pages

But the actual content will be negligable, while the attempted abuse 100%.

I can imagine this fertile mind trying to find an angle to destroy this evil pagan.
Bit difficult when you have no ammunition and your book is Gods word, and you
are attacking someone who quotes as guided by the Holy Spirit. I would suggest
just walking away and getting right with God, because opposing the Lord never
ends well. 400 priest of Baal got beheaded. Korah got swallowed whole into the
ground and those offering unholy coals, burnt alive.

So not a good road to travel.

I like this story as well. But I know I will die. In someways I wish it was sooner rather
than later, because I would dearly love to be with the Lord rather than have intermiable
meaningless points made by people who have little understanding of Christ and their walk.

I have one vision as a teenager, that when I reached the age I am now I might be able
to grasp better the true wisdom of God in the gospel, and to be able to share the wonderful
love He planted in my heart. I praise God that through the internet, and cc I have managed
to witness to His word and truth and hopefully brought light into peoples lives, to know He
is the victorious King who will lift us up if we call out and ask.

So Amen and glory to Him. Come Lord Jesus come.

The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, turning a person from the snares of death.

here is what makes you a deceiver - when you quote a verse, do commentary on the verse , or verses, but leave out part of the verses, and then refuse to acknowledge you did so.

here is a free lesson in hermeneutics -2nd John was a letter, meant to be read as a letter. it was NOT meant to be chopped apart and pasted back together as one sees fit.

also, verses and chapters were ADDED to the Bible around the 1300's, not in the original texts, which were scrolls.

there is some truths for you, not that you care truth............

1. John sad those who love God (remember scripture says we love because he loved us first) Obey his commands, period, nothing more nothing less.

2 John said those who deny Christ are antichrist, and evil.

it DOES not say what you claim it says

I can think of not clearer way of differentiating between those walking in love with Christ
and showing the state of others hearts in rebellion.
thats fine, however that is not what the passage says, thus your continued insistence it does just reflects poorly on you, someone mentioned you make good points, well this could be one of them, however, your twisting the word of God to make it, thus your good point is contaminated with filth and is instead sin

No one can convict someone of sin when they are quoting scriptural truth.
It is actually apostacy and blasphemy on the part of the speaker.
true however you are not quoting scripture, your interpreting scripture out of co text and trying to say something scripture never said . Thus by your own definition you are committing blasphemy
