Question if you believe that 4th is following the doctrines of men and you believe it's wrong why would you laugh? Would it not break your heart to see error? Laughing tends to imply ridicule not Christ like compassion.
Note I tend to agree with him being Reformed as well for complete disclosure.

Putting God in a box, I used to hear that a lot. It appeared to me to be a way of getting around scripture that would have rebuked the behavior of someone. My reply to that is, God put Himself in a box, it is called the word of God, the bible, otherwise none of us would ever really know what was of God and what was not of God.
