if works are required to be saved, James contradicts Paul,

whether you believe it r not does not matter

paul said..

not by works of righteusness which we have done, but by his mercy

paulsaid we are saved by grace not works lest anyone should boast

paul said if Abraham was found by works he has something to best, but not before God,

so so did James contradict Paul, or is your interpretation flawed,

and if if we are saved by works, how many did James say

put up girl.. your demanding, so follow through,

Just because you have taught YOUR faith, does not mean that YOUR faith is OUR faith. YOUR faith is vastly different from MY faith..


You don't have to be in heaven for God to ask you that question. He may very well ask you right here on earth when He returns for us. :)

NO ONE has brain washed ME. I don't put my faith and belief in the teachings of men and churches. MY faith is in Christ and the bible. :eek:

he he did not come to abolish the law, it still stands, which means if you break even one of the smallest commands, your guilty of breaking the entire law ( In case you did not know, that is scripture James 2: 10) and as Paul said, whoever is under the law is under a curse, because what does the law say, whoever does not confirm AND OBAY EVERY LETTER is under a curse. (Gal 3 with duet 27: 26)

so, would you like to try again, or continue e to be condemned by the law, and call it cheap grace? SMH

saying works show faith, because true faith WILL produce works is far different that saying works are required, which makes it legalism,

Abrahams work did not save him, he was saved before he did one work, however, his faith was proven by his work, like James was.

same with all the people I heb 12

true faith works, dead faith (mere belief) does not, even demons believe, but their lack of work proves they had no faith.


Again, maybe if you get off your war and hate against Calvinism, you would maybe finally start to understand what people believe.

No need....you take care of that yourself when you say works are necessary for salvation....oblivious to the fact that works are the result OF not FOR.........I pity you.....trusting into works for salvation denies Christ in the process.......MANY will say....and your inability to get past the false religions you have espoused and your inability to see that Galatians condemns a café blend of faith and works FOR salvation will lead to your own demise....tragic day for you Fran!

Then according to the law your just as guilty as I am, and apart from Grace, headed to hell,

so so why do you fight grace when you just proved you need it as much as we do?

You call it cheap grace. That grace you call cheap had a price, its called the cross, apart from it, no sin will be forgiven.

Second sentence:

Third sentence:
Cheap Grace is when you can't even admit that God DEMANDS that we OBEY HIM.

Amen........one cannot even understand the truth without salvation....much less be obedient to it......can you imagine a worker for hooking up a team of horses to a buggy to go to town.....they would perpetually sit in the buggy wondering why they never got anywhere while the horses behind the carriage starved to death..........

Which proves biblically what the will of the father is,

yet did she she comment on what we really said? No, of course not, she did like she always does, makes it seem like we are in collusion to pat ourselves on the backs when really all I did was say he beat me to posting pretty much the same thing,

insinserity does not not help her case, of course, we are used to it by now, but it is God for newbies to see.

Of course not......workers for who teach a café blend of faith and works......as deceptive as they come.........just like an accusation hurled yesterday implying I say the bible contradicts itself.........no honesty, implied accusations, twisted and embellished verses out of context and deception beyond a WW2 spy from Germany in England.....
