Interdimensional Portals

[Meggido]

I guess I thought the Romans were the Greeks - certainly their were Greeks within the Roman empire.

2 very different kingdoms and yes there were Greeks in Rome.

I was in a small prayer group here in my home, and the Lord spoke this to me. "When you speak My Word, in the power of My Spirit, a portal opens and I will manifest".

So there is the key to miracles.

Not so fast!
Genesis 11 discusses this very thing.
The so-called "Tower of Babel" was something so bad that God
Himself put a stop to it and dispersed the crowd pretty thoroughly.
Whatever it was could have been a threat to God Himself.
If "time travel" were possible, someone could theoretically
alter history to foil the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.

Nothing can be a threat to God. What was evil about the Tower of Babel was that God commanded that people spread out and populate the world at that time. And they wanted to stay and make a name for themselves. They wanted to be famous- which is self-centered and prideful. They wanted to show that God is no big deal because even they can literally go up to His level.

God knew, as we now know, that the tower could never be high enough to reach God, and God is omnipresent anyways. It was the intentions in their hearts that He was displeased with.

(And no, I don't believe there are portals. Jesus appeared in a locked room, Philip suddenly vanished and appeared somewhere else after baptizing the Ethiopian eunuch. I believe miracles happen in a natural way- a supernatural way. Whereas magic is all a hoax- a trick.)

Well, now Im kinda glad Im chubby
I wont be able to fit through any Portals anytime to soon
Hahahaha

For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance;
1 Thess 1:5

I believe spirits move into and out of our dimension at will. And no special 'portals' have to 'open up' for that naturally occurring movement to take place anywhere, anytime.

You've been watching too much Star Trek.

Jesus showed us the way, dont you think thre are those out there looking for an alternate way?

[resurrection33]

Do they naturally occur? Can they be opened by magic or tech? What about time portals? Or interplanetary portals? What do you think? Can you say why? Are you just scared to admit they exist? Or scared to talk about them? LOL No really. What do you think?

I don't think they exist.

I seem to have an interdimensional portal in my pocket because my time ((fourth dimension)) keeps slipping away

[sevenseas]

It shouldn't be in a Christian forum to begin with

well sure it should

I recently read about some group, Christian, trying to open 'portals' to heaven

and so Christians should bury their collective heads or something?

people get sucked into things because they are deceived or seduced or ignorant of the devils schemes to ensnare them

not saying to become an expert on the occult, but it is good to know enough to stay away from occultish things

into the future?

I am currently watching the movie 'Interstellar' in which they go through a wormhole. that's just how it was explained, time is folded and the beginning is over the end. (movie is 4 hrs long so I taped it and watching in 2 parts)

I was gonna say that God doesn't need us to open portals to allow Him to enter this world but Revelation does speak of a door being unlocked and allowing demons to enter.

◄ Revelation 9 ►
English Standard Version
1And the fifth angel blew his trumpet, and I saw a star fallen from heaven to earth, and he was given the key to the shaft of the bottomless pit.a 2He opened the shaft of the bottomless pit, and from the shaft rose smoke like the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened with the smoke from the shaft. 3Then from the smoke came locusts on the earth, and they were given power like the power of scorpions of the earth

[stonesoffire]

Not arguing with you sevenseas...ask Him.

[stonesoffire]

Just an interesting tidbit of info..

The temple was built on the site of the "portal" that opened up and Jacob saw the angels ascending and descending.
