Hey how about go and tell my Christian foster dad who sexually abused me when my mum through me out when I was 14.

Hey how about you go and tell my mum that when she beat me silly and gave me black eyes as her fists rained down on my face.

Hey how about telling my real dad whose only memory I have is him breaking into our flat in Scotland and going to hit my mum who ducked and he knocked me out and was in hospital for weeks.

Hey how about you tell that to the CID who came round and asked me if my Foster dad was sexually abusing me and I said no because the other choices of going back to my mum or going into a foster home.

Hey about telling my mum when I was in hospital and was minutes away from death and my mum wouldn't visit and say I hope he dies.

Hey tell them all it want their fault and it's all mine.

Oh well now I know who's fault it is. Obviously mine.
Bill,
He said the person who put you through this will be judged accordingly.
Not that it's your fault. Which, of course it isn't.
You know whose fault it is. The evil one and those who listen to him.

We sure aren't in heaven here, are we?
Let's thank God that we know Him and for all the good things we have.
Praising Him for the positive makes us forget the negative -- but it does
rear its ugly head every now and then, doesn't it.

Remember to pray for my Elena.
I love how you pray.

Tomorrow...
Happy Sonday !

God gave His Son over to humiliation and suffering that we might be forgiven according to Jesus punishment <<<<<<<< that should be enough for people to take His word above the rest of the voices.

Greetings followjesus, very true words, and I would like to make clear so there is no confusion as to Jesus punishment, of the which I'm sure you understand, but others might not.. I should like to remind us all that Jesus was punished by the hands of sinful and wicked men, not God. Yes Isaiah does speak of it pleasing God that they should bruise him. However He was pleased in the manner that it would justify His mercy upon a world of sinners.

God does not punish the innocent in place of the guilty, that would completely violate all of His principles of justice...Jesus could have called down 12 legions of angles against His adversaries, when he told Peter to put away his sword, all that live by the sword will die by the sword..are people so foolish to suggest that Jesus could have called down these legions of angels to go against God who was going to punish Him...It makes no sense..But it seems Luther thought it made sense to him...

His sacrifice was a sweet smelling aroma to God.. The idea that Jesus was punished by God was never a teaching until some 1200 years after Christ..It began with Catholic theologians Anslem, and was perfected by Thomas Aquinas, and 300 years later it was activated by reformationists like Luther and Calvin who added even more heresy to the already existing heresy of satisfactory atonement..The truth of the matter is, Jesus didn't satisfy Gods wrath, but rather justified His mercy, by interceding on our behalf at Calvary and through His blood can past sins be forgiven. Praise God from whom all blessings flow...this is key central core issue in coming to an understanding of the atonement, because the satisfaction Penal Substitution invented by Luther invokes payment for sin, wiht the false idea that Jesus died in mans place, rather than on mans' behalf..Therefore inducing that His righteousness is swapped for our wickedness, a transfer of virtues so to speak, which is a huge stronghold in the minds of 100s of millions, rather than Jesus dying on our behalf, and purchasing our souls at Calvary, that the Father might extend His mercy upon mankind to whomsoever will come to Him in humility and repentance for the remission of sin in the process of reconciliation through a season of mourning and bitter sorrow not to be regretted.. keep up the good word and be blessed always

Thanks bro....for the first 2 years after my dad was killed I asked every meter man, mail man etc. if they were going to be my daddy......as a kid it really messed me up for a few year and my grand parents on my dad's side tried to take my brother and I from my mom for the Social Security check and they did not allow me to go to my dad's funeral....I have only been to his grave once in like 1992......

Fear has to do with punishment. That is Scripture! Why do you fear being punished? There is now no condemnation in Christ Jesus. That is Scripture also. If you want to do it your way, you will suffer. Better to believe the good book :) Perfect love casts out fear...
for those that walk after the Spirit of the law, and not after the flesh is there no condemnation..Don't leave those 16 words out it implies easy grace;..... To fear God is to have a unwavering reverence for His commandments, that's why Solomon said our only purpose in life is to fear God and keep His commandments..be blessed

In a broken world anxiety is a big issue. And it affects believers and non believers.
Fellow believers should recognise this.

We are fragile and let's be honest as believers we are less likely to open up because what others would say.
Things like lack of faith, sin, unforgiveness and so on.

So we shut up shop and look like we have it all together as people.

Some things may be correct but even have said that anxiety can still persist even if we have forgiven, have faith in Jesus and walk in the ways he has asked us to.

Often the case is with someone whom suffers with Generalised Anxiety Disorder have no idea what the drivers are.
So in the secular sense it's either medication or secular counselling like CBT.

I know of Christian's who suffer with GAD/Depression who take medication and to be honest I don't have an issue with it.

Also we need to be very careful as believers how we counsel others with GAD.

I was left in a worse position when I went to Christian counsellor than I was before I started.

One thing is true though and that is Jesus.
He is constant, he is faithful, he is loving and he is the one who can bring healing.

Psalms 147:3
He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds.

My grand point in preaching is to break the hard heart, and to heal the broken one.”~ John Newton

God bless you my friend

This is is the biggest reason I have seen people walk away from church, they struggle, and no one will help them only judge.

You won't sway her by your false words and working for "CAINOLOGY" ....HE that believes IS NOT CONDEMNED John 3:36.....wake up....Our JESUS keeps his word and his GRACE, which you reject, out runs and out bounds our sin.....

That being the case surely they should know better.
Don't you think they do it on purpose? They (meaning more than one, by the way) are setting you up time and time again to take the fall. You don't deserve what they dish out, at all.

It says confess our sins to one another that we might be healed. It doesn't say judge them for being sinners. You seem to suggest that once we are saved, we are no longer sinners and you seem to suggest that those that confess their sins like sinning when nothing could be further from the truth. The difference between the saved and unsaved is the saved sin and hate it, and the unsaved sin and love it. It is a sin to judge the saved as not being faithful as you seem to suggest. On the last day God says: "Well done thou good and faithful servant; he didn't say Well done thou successful servant who never sinned and who was like Job with a righteousness of your own.
I didn't judge them, they judged themselves to be sinners...What you speak of is what takes place in a season of Godly sorrow in the baptism of repentance no matter how long that might take, it is not the nature of a born again Christian who has already come clean with God in repentance..... The idea of one who continues in wilful rebellion but hates their sin is only taught by false prophets..Job hated sin and kept himself from sin..John said keep yourself from the evil one that he touch you not..Saved Christians are not sinners they are saints, sinners and saints are the complete opposite on every page of scripture...lest you are talking of sins of ignorance and debts that are dismissed in the Lords prayer....If the old man is dead he cannot sin, he can only sin if he is brought back to life..be blessed in your searching

No I don't think they do it on purpose. I actually think "they" have a good heart but our words get misunderstood by "them" and their words get misunderstood by "us".

I really hate the "us" "them" mentality. It saddens my soul.

unwavering reverence for His commandments,
Well I am way ahead of you willybob, I have already been told to write them on my walls, so that I would be reminded of them constantly, the same person also told me take down any pictures of landscapes I have up because that is idolatry.
(no word of lie).

Guess what ....oops I forgot to get on that!

Hmmmm...maybe I should step it up it up a notch....maybe I should write them on my arm
in red ink because a lot of times I am not home.

Do you think that will help keep me on the straight and narrow?

I am not gonna try and engage Willy Bob.

Instead Undergrace can we have a discussion about the law?

I believe if used rightly it's good but too often people get beaten up by it.

Let's talk the law as it should be said.

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Are you in Christ Jesus? Then you need not fear. Solomon said a lot of things, perhaps, but I listen to Jesus, Who said all, ALL the law and all the prophets were fulfilled by loving God first and your neighbor second.

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. That is Romans chapter eight verse one, what are you adding to it???

1 John 4:18 again I do not see what you claim is there:
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

You can fear God all you want, but I will love Him, for He first loved me and took the penalty for sin upon Himself in my place, and HIS perfect love casts out fear, that is Biblical but you argue against it.

I am not that interested in engaging either actually. Yes indeed people do like to beat others with the law, totally agree, my point exactly!

I was not asking you. I don't think they do have a good heart, why would you think they do, not even God agrees with that. "They" do it repeatedly and not by accident.

The law is good if used rightly

I can pull out scriptures if needed but I will just state simply what I believe about the law.

1. It leads us to Christ (by showing us that we are sinners in need of a savior)

2. It keeps us from falling into Satan's traps, by warning of things that can spiritually damage us

3. It is meant to give us rest and peace and not to be used as a legalistic club to condemn people (example Jesus says the Sabbath is made for ma, and not man for the Sabbath)

Would you like scriptures? Do you get what I am trying to say?
