I have a hornets hive right above where I lock my bicycle at...should I let them be or burn them out.

Or take a bucket of hot SOAPY water and throw it on the nest. The soap destroys their exoskeletons..

We were at a shopping mall in Branson Missouri once and there were hornets nests in multiple bushes in the parking lot. We mentioned this to a manager at the mall and he said not to worry, they are non-stinging hornets. Yeah right!

Awwww.... I would say don't kill them and let the little guys live, but I know there's probably no one on this forum that thinks that as well xD

Hornets have one hole into the nest. Only one way in and out. Spray hole with wasp and hornet spray and they won't get out alive if at all. Or if really brave use spray foam to seal the hole. :)

I think that hornets don't like to be bothered and their stings really hurt.

a wasp will sting you once or a few times then fly off

a bee doesn't usually want to sting, but it will if it has to, and it will usually die unless it can skrew its stinger back in

hornet will actually try to kill you

Lock your bike somewhere else?

They've done you no harm. Not like they're living in your house. They're living where they're supposed to live.
