Yep, thats right, of course, media will not play it that way, but yes a black cop sitting in passenger seat of cop car shot Justine Damond aged 40, who was just about to be married and was living in. Minneapolis with her fiancé.

She called 911 concerned about a possible intruder, a police car pulled up and she went out to them, talking to the driver through the window when Mohamed Noor drew his weapon and shot her through the open driver's window.

Another point was that their body cameras were not switched on.

Just seems to me that cops in the USA are definitely trigger happy, and will we have an outcry that a white person was shot by a black cop. White Lives Matter. Seems like a Uneccasary murder.

Before you bloviate you should get all the facts....He was a Somalian who has not been here long and has had numerous complaints leveled against him.....Should I judge all Brits by the few I have associated with in my life....one or two of them were idiots....so should I judge all as idiots?

the point is clear........and the bolded was idiotic

Quite a different reaction when the "black lives matter" and white cops are killing blacks for no reason, is reversed isnt it. Anyway moving on, just what the hell was he doing shooting her, she was talking to his partner and he just shoots her. lack of training maybe, this is why I am glad not every policeman in this country is issued with a gun.

Makes me wonder what kind of screening the applicants are going through. Maybe we just have to face the fact that some people should not be allowed to hold positions like this. There are some examples of fifth columns established by a certain group of people from a certain part of the world, always talking about how peaceful they are.

It says, "According to Australian media..."

How in the world could some newspaper in australia know what happened in minnesota when no one else knows Not even the woman's son knows what happened. And the police deparetment certainly wouldn't let that kind of info get out, especially not this early in the game. I smell fake news...

Note that the only piece of info CONFIRMED by the police and by the family's lawyer in that article is that one of the cops named Noor shot the woman. That's it. Everything everything else cites no source whatsoever!

There are so many rumors now. Things needs to calm down a bit before the facts slowly will be finding their way to the public.

We do know she was shot.
We do know the officers name.
We do (not totally verified, but most likely) know that this is not the first time he is under investigation.
We do know she called the police.

Let's start off with that.

What matters is :

WHY didn't he turn on his camera?
Did he murder her? If he did: Will he get away with it? (NOT because he is black but because he is a cop)

Depends on the outcome of the internal investigation. If he has several investigations ongoing, he could find himself in trouble.

Pardon my language, but if he sat there in the passenger seat **edited** his Glock...well...a Glock will fire if you pull the trigger, safety arrangements or not.

Other rumors claims he was firing several shots, so I guess his finger just had a busy night.

I can tell you there is a lot of news traffic about this shooting in Australia.. To the extent that the prime minister has been talking in an interview about it and demanding answers and getting the diplomats moving on finding answers.. I doubt this incident will be swept under the carpet now.. The Level of Media and political interest in it is too high for it to fade away any time soon..
