Hey everyone,

as yall can see i havent been in the Forums too much. Ive been mainly just coming in posting Good Mornings and stuff.
Had a depressive state for a while after a horrid break up..well horrid for me but oh well
BUT
I took that and pulled strength from it to keep pushing towards my dreams of becoming a singer and show that tho it was said im not special enough.... I AM
I wrote to a music producer and he was immediately interested and after sending him a cover he is very much on my side lol!
All of the negative is turning into positive.
Now the producer wants me to cover two more songs (fighter by Christina Aguilera, Sia-Chandellier) and we will see that after i studied them how things will proceed or not.
He already said that I have a very good voice. And its looking very good :D
God is so great.
If this mess hadnt happened, i wouldnt have gotten the courage to just take a chance and now im left stunned at Gods grace and that that I really started this lol Sometimes bad things have to happen to get us into a place of possibilities.
All things good and evil work together for good to those who love him and are called according to his purpose!!

I hope I cheered up a couple of people around here. I know a lot here struggle with depression and heartache but God can turn a dead seed into a beautiful blooming tree :)

Hey Demi, good to see you again :D I did not know you wanted to be a professional singer! Covering Christina Aguilera is quite the accomplishment since she mezzo-soprano, having a vocal range spanning four octaves. Congratulations to you, God bless, and best of luck pursuing your dreams! :)

Ive always wanted to be a singer lol. And now im pushing it :D
I love singing Christinas songs because it allows me to actually use my voice. im just studying the songs and i will send em to him once i got em recorded :p

I think I found out why a "cover song" is called a "cover" song. Seems the term did not have a very flattering nor "PC" beginning.
 
That's awesome, Demi!!! :D Post some of your singing. Chandelier is one of my favorite songs and I sang it on smule (I know, scary thought! lol) but it took awhile for me to get the notes right in the chorus, and I can't really do the breaking, cracking voice like Sia does..

Congrats Demi, I'm so proud of you. Stories like you prove you can be as down as possible but you can always pick yourself up. So inspiring.
