WASHINGTON — Sean Spicer, the White House press secretary, resigned on Friday morning, telling President Trump he vehemently disagreed with the appointment of New York financier Anthony Scaramucci as communications director.

I don't blame him. If I were in his position, I'd say goodbye to the white house press by tossing a five gallon bucket of ice water on them.

President Trump doesn't have enough money to hire me for that chicken coop.

I thought he took the razzing rather well. Maybe even enjoyed it.

Hucklebee's daughter took the position. And the guy they disagreed about, I think he will be good for the Trump team.

Spicer was not temperamentally equipped for that job. (and neither is Sarah, actually.) But, that does not excuse the way Trump threw him under the bus a couple of times. He actually left Spicer out to dry.

Well, of course we shouldn't take the news reporters seriously anymore.

This is what Sean says happened:

Newscaster asks did Trump want him to resign:

Spicer responded “He didn’t. He has been very gracious during this whole process. He wanted to bring some new folks in to help wrap up the communications operation and after reflection, my decision was to recommend to the President that I give Anthony and Sarah a clean slate to start from so that they can talk about the President’s agenda and help to move it forward. And after some back and forth he understood that the offer that I was making was in the best interest of this administration. I thanked him for the opportunity and I’m looking forward to watching Anthony and Sarah do a tremendous job.”
So there you have it! There is no drama here and Spicer just confirmed that he did what was in the best interest of President Trump and his administration. He seems to be in good spirits in the interview and we will miss him as press secretary!

I'm looking forward to see how Scaramucci does. He has quite a background as a successful investor and hedge fund manager as well as hosting a wall st. journal show on fox. I'm pretty sure he's not the type to sugarcoat or be PC about stuff and he seems fired-up to move Trump's team forward...

As for Spicer... I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did. He didn't seem to be a good fit for the job at all in my opinion.

Can't blame him. When you have a President that tweets out every thought that crosses his mind, it's kinda impossible to "stay on message," or even have the RIGHT message..........as Trump does change his mind a lot. :)

Plus the current WH Media is a bunch of arrogant twits.

Yes,It won't matter who takes that position left by Spicer because they will always be trying to defend what Trump said and then defend what Trump tweeted and how does anyone try to shine a positive light on something Trump said that's bad and then the next day,Trump changes his mind again.

I think Scaramucci is a BS'er and totally insincere........ but so is Trump in some ways. He will likely serve him well.

Just here to say..Go Trump! lol
Hey, I'm all for Trump and his success as president. But, I do see he is not a man I would ever want to be friends with, nor even do business with. But, he was hired to pull the USA out of a death-spiral, not be a "pretty-boy" politician.

And he's doing it. Trouble is that it presents as confusion but he is draining the swamp. Just like the people want. So we have to be patient with him. Is going to take some time and trial and error.

And he tweets because of the fake news media. It's also his way of keeping in touch with America.

I listen to the prophets more than the news now. And they are so right on. This is new too. Those who are really hearing from the Lord are being placed front and center, even in the White House.

Some queries for ya......

Is da wall built?
Do we have a new Health Care system?
Do we have Tax Reform?
Why are Obama's numbers on deporting Illegals higher than Trumps?
Is Planned Parenthood still getting Federal Tax Dollars?
Do we have a Budget?
Have they decreased Federal Fraud Waste and Abuse, and Spending?

The real truth is ........... Trump can not accomplish all that much on his own. I said this for month after month before he took Office, or even won the election. Without Congress, he can not accomplish very much. And it should be painfully clear that many in Congress have no intention of working with Trump........so, yeah, it's gonna be a REAL LONG TIME before anydarnthing gets done, and the Swamp is as infested with mean nasties as it ever was.........regardless of what FNC tries to sell folks.

Well said.
I never did understand why people are saying Trump has done a lot.

He seems to be firing more people than Is normal for a POTUS that hasn't been In office that long and I think he should take some of the blame.

Yeah, but you can't blame all of this on Trump. That's unfair when the House can't seem to get it's act together.

The Republicans have been a non-governing party for years and they don't know what to do with this situation at the federal level...which is dumb.

If you are upset that things are not getting done, then there is wayyyy more blame to pass around.

I'm with you on this. It may take a very difficult primary season to wake them up.

Eventually, they'll get some landmark bills passed. Eventually...

Let patience have her perfect work. ;)

People assume he has complete power over his twitter. I'm not so sure this is the case.

Though I do agree their messaging infrastructure isn't good. They are trying to keep the exciting difference of the campaign era alive, but it just doesn't jive.

Today's tweets.

Trump's angry twitter spree declares complete power to pardon

President Trump does have complete pardon power for anyone except himself. Boasting of it is just plain stupid. This is the reason that no one can be an effective press secretary or communications director.
