Thanks, I came under tremendous fire once, by someone trying to convince me I was condemned using Hebrews, so I had to understand for myself and the Holy Spirit He does guide and lead in those dark moments ....all glory to Him always!:D

I think you have a solid grasp on Hebrews. (Not that you need me to tell you). Understanding Hebrews truly takes some maturity in Christ.

The bible is clear......Jesus paid the entire human sin debt on the cross......the Holy Spirit only convicts of sin because they do not believe ON JESUS....the condemnation of the law has been nailed to the cross....and ALL who genuinely believe in JESUS are eternally forgiven, saved, justified, sanctified positionally and sealed with the Spirit of promise.....regardless of those who deny this and seek to save themselves.....
The bible states his blood was poured out for many not all......

So we're going to be judged ONLY on rejecting the Word?
°But many here do !

So how do you understand this:

John 5:27-30 New International Version (NIV)

27 And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man.

28 “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice

29 and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.

This is JESUS speaking.
Did He say believe in Him and you'd be safe forever and for eternity?
Or did He say divide between those who did good deeds and those who did evil deeds?

So does doing good and evil have ANYTHING at all to do with being saved??
I am ok with what I posted as I feel it reconciles what I believe.

Yes believe in him and you will be saved.

You reject the word, who was the beginning and through all who was created then you reject his sacrifice for sins.

I am not a Hebrew but who was the book of Hebrews written to?

What issue was the writer addressing?

He wasn't writing to the Gentiles.
The gentiles would have no idea a regard to the Law of Moses and it's reference to the O.T

To be honest the bible verses you have quoted above I don't quite get why.

Maybe you could expand for me .

Remember I am a simple man with simple thoughts.

IT MEANS STOP LIVING IN THE PAST .......................................
I live with a hope for the future. Speaking of the first and last Adam is not evidence of living in the past. Your nonsense is just that.

He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not
only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

Amen, sin is no longer the issue between man and God, the issue is whether we believe Him or not.

..................IN THE LAST DAYS...................

THE LAW WILL BE RE-ESTABLISHED.....................

WHERE BY WORKS MUST TAKE PLACE...

Hosea 3:4-5New International Version (NIV)

[SUP]4 [/SUP]For the Israelites will live many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred stones, without ephod or household gods. [SUP]5 [/SUP]Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the Lord their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the Lord and to his blessings in the last days.

In the last days they will fear the messiah

And.....the grace of God that brings salvation has shined down upon ALL mankind......

I thought of at least 3 to 5 sets of verses that contradicted his statement......

Why did you call yourself FranC if you do not want to be called that?
Well let's see:

your Magenta, so I have to call you MAGENTA.

AllenW is most probably Allen.
JoeF is most probabl Joe.
MorrisT is most proably Morris.
Larry2 is most probably Larry.

See?

So, based on the above lesson,
what do YOU think my name is?

Do you think it's FranC?

Do I have to teach you everything?

Amen,

And Jesus made that clear.
He also said, if you struggle and heavy laden, give me it and I will give you mine, it's light.

If memory serves me is he not interceding for us as well?

Thank you ...but it really was a work of the Spirit when I was in dire need.

But it is good to have clear understanding now. The workers and lawyers had come into my life and had me questioning even though I knew scripture was clear we are eternally saved.

I think that is why I have been relentless on this thread, I know the damage falling from grace to works/law can do. ;)
