Hebrews 10:26-31 is very clear about what happens to the sanctified person who tramples on the blood of Christ. So you must be one who believes that the warnings are sufficient to keep the believer believing to the very end as required in order to be saved.

I can't argue with that fundamental belief, except that there are examples of people who have trampled on the blood of Christ who had the signs of having been sanctified by the blood of Christ.
But we'll never really know, will we?
That's why judging on the matter is not up to us, but it's up to God.

Oh, and you are right. The Bible is clear that you only get once chance to have and keep saving faith. And when it's gone, it's gone forever and you can't get it back. So, 'yoyo' salvation is not supported in the Bible at all. I agree on that for sure because that's what the Bible says.
You're right.
I looked up "yoyo" in my concordance and it's not there.

I will post this again about Hebrews 10:26 as there are always new viewers in these threads and the same things come up concerning Heb. 10 and the "willful sinning."

Hebrews 10:26 (NASB)
[SUP]26 [/SUP] For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,

Hebrews 10:26 can be a stumbling block if we don't take the context in which this passage was written.

Some times well intentioned people take Hebrews 10:26-29 out of context with the book of Hebrews.

Anyone can take an isolated scripture out of it's context and say anything they want. Here is an example in the scripture below - Ex 32:33.
Anyone who has ever sinned is blotted out of God's book.

Exodus 32:33 (NASB)
[SUP]33 [/SUP] The LORD said to Moses, "Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book.

This is truly stated in the OT but it is not the ultimate statement of truth. The work of Jesus's finished work on the cross trumps what is said in Ex. 32:33.

Obviously we need to view all scripture through the finished work of Christ. We don't take obscure verses and discount the abundance of clear scriptures on what our Lord has done for us.

Hebrews 10 is talking about Jewish people after hearing about Christ for the only sacrifice for sins and rejecting it to go back to the temple sacrifices for their sins.

Hebrews was written a few years before the temple system came crashing down in 70AD when it was trampled by the Roman army.

The "willful sinning" is after hearing the "knowledge" of the truth of Christ's sacrifice - those that go back to the temple sacrifices and do not receive Christ's work by faith - this is the wilful sinning being talked about - the rejection of Christ's sacrifice and blood for the forgiveness of all sins.

This is insulting the Spirit of grace. The Holy Spirit's work is to convict/convince/expose the world of their sin - which is unbelief in Christ's work. John 16:8-9

There is a vast difference between receiving the "knowledge" of the truth and "receiving the truth" which is Christ Himself.

Nope it is considered a warning, we are done and will let th mods handle it. Your free to do the same if you think you are being harrased

By the way, welcome back., you ready to answer m questions. Asked you a few days ago? Or not?
He begged him to place him on ignore and I did and now he is mad I actually did....and is still responding to my posts....Man talk about a stalker....real easy to see who is defending their pride and self and who is defending the faith...
Let it drop, man. Flesh is stirred up. Just let it drop. It's a challenge to continue to walk in the Spirit, but we just pray for what we need. :)

can you give an example of someone who had true faith in God, trusted everything the gospel said about them, including how sinful and condemned they were. and how they would die forever apart from him,

A person who Walked with God. Saw gods faithfulness, experienced Gods faithfulness, Witnessed his faithfulness. and then lost his faith? and can you explain why, with all this, they would do so?
Israel truly had faith in God that He would do what He said and spare them when they put the blood on the doorposts. Then they had faith to step under a towering wall of water to cross over. They witnessed His faithfulness and care. Then He said collect only enough food for the day and they didn't obey but collected more. The reason for the disobedience was lack of faith that He would provide again tomorrow.

Similarly, we have faith that God has saved us with the Precious Blood. We witness His faithfulness to us in many ways. Then we store treasure on earth even though He said not to, because we also do not trust He will provide again tomorrow. We make the same mistake Israel did.

The True Gospel of Works (made me laugh):

John 3:16-17
16 For God so hated the world, that he tortured and murdered his only begotten Son, that whosoever behaveth like him should not perish, maybe, conditional to a sufficiently fruitful life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to save the world; but that the world through him might be given an ensample to follow.

Anther lie, Does this person actually think he can continue with these lies. and get away with it.

1. I did not beg him I asked him if he was going to continue doing what he was doing, to please put me on ignore.
2. I am not mad he did so. This is quite literally nonsense.

Yet you keep attaking me, and blaming me,, seems to me you need to look in the mirror.

I actually am glad you keep responding, You keep proving me right. and making yourself look bad.. And yet you say I am mad..LOLOLOL

this is funny, I feel like I am watching a comedy.

You spoke well by your counsel to Dcon. Go back to it. I am rooting for you to continue in the Spirit. :)

When my friend came to the Lord, and started reading the Bible,he believed in not saved by works, and he would avoid the book of Job,and said that it is not supposed to be in the Bible, for it contradicts scriptures, for he thought it said,Job,as in work.
Oh! HAHA! Reminds me of a man who insisted that in the last days there would be a lot of tsunamis. Because it said there will be earthquakes in DIVERS places! And divers dive in the ocean. So it was saying there would be earthquakes in the ocean! Then I realized he really wasn't far off, even though his interpretation of the KJV "divers" was incorrect, he somehow had it right because earthquakes WILL cause tsunamis...:)

Ariel said a funny..... she said she's not into all that, lol.
Do you think ariel is not aware that she has fallen for the trick of getting her own flesh stirred up at times by satans tactics against us? She has been encouraging brothers to let it go. The trick is to not find ourselves disqualified after we teach others. Do you think she believes she has never fallen for it? Do you wish to uncover her nakedness or do you wish to cheer her on in her race? Gods mercies begin anew each morning. We get up after we stumble and we begin to run again. There is no need to bring up each others past stumbles. If Gods mercies begin anew each morning, so should ours toward each other. :) It's called forgiving and bearing with one another.

I have to go. Have been trying for 2 days to get to the end of the thread and still only on pg 1204!
Walk in the Spirit so you will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh!
Be aware of satans tactics to stir up the flesh of each of us and do not fall for it!
Don't fall for it!

Are you going to rebuke francy....I saw his quote, because[second time now] he is on the train to iggy land...

His question and your answer reminds me of this, oh the irony of this is gonna leave scorch marks...

John 21.18-22

[SUP]18 [/SUP]Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were younger, you used to gird yourself and walk wherever you wished; but when you grow old, you will stretch out your hands and someone else will gird you, and bring you where you do not wish to go.” [SUP]19 [/SUP]Now this He said, signifying by what kind of death he would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He *said to him, “Follow Me!”[SUP] 20 [/SUP]Peter, turning around, *saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them; the one who also had leaned back on His bosom at the supper and said, “Lord, who is the one who betrays You?” [SUP]21 [/SUP]So Peter seeing him *said to Jesus, “Lord, and what about this man?” [SUP]22 [/SUP]Jesus *said to him, “If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow Me!”

Like I said, it is the smallest of things that betrays their spiritual maturity....
it's the words for sure

I mean, what does rebuke mean here?

they have not heard me rebuke. now ask my husband. he often laughs because while English is my first language, I grew up hearing alot of German and French so I mix things up some times which usually does not come across when I write.

but he has taken to laughing when I say something 'tough' (not even at him but the squirrels here (Florida there are tons of the varmints) he repeats it and when I hear how it sounds with someone else saying it, I gotta laugh too. anyway, you have to laugh at yourself sometimes

Germans are by and large pretty direct and we think nothing of it. I have noticed Americans can be pretty thin skinned haha

Jesus already won the debate....

your going to have alot to read when you get back on ;)

did Jesus debate? musta missed that. He seems pretty straight forward to me with real great one liners

no wonder I use them myself :p

now I will have to watch out for someone coming along and trying to say I think I am a prophet and speak for Jesus

When they state their GOD SAID mandate is to do what Jesus did and GO and MAKE REVIVAL and not DISCIPLES... it is an error....Jesus did not say GO AND MAKE REVIVAL he said GO AND MAKE disciples...they do not teach the Gospel will bring the end of things and Jesus back, they teach latter rain outpouring of the Holy Spirit and revival will bring and end to things and bring Jesus back again and Bill Johnson states this all over the place.....this is in direct error with what Jesus said in Matt 24.14...
This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

I am sorry you like emotionalism and not full truth....

Here is the link to the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry.....lets let people decide for themselves by looking around what is true or false...

BSSM – Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry

BUILDING REVIVALISTS is not a mandate found in scripture....anywhere.....
yeah that's a load of hogwash. people need to do their homework. the network of false apostles, prophets and teachers are well connected. they all know each other and nothing happens by accident. they disguise what they really believe because if they came right out and said it, it would be worse then what we actually know

I don't write about what I do not know personally. I know quite a bit but don't talk about it.

I was IN Florida when that Bentley stuff went down

I wish I could forget some of what I know

seen enough when I was in CA as well

itching ears. and false teachers and prophets to scratch them

I wasn't 21 in my avatar.
I was close to 40.
And you know the story...
so please stop bringing it up.
Thanks. (I mean the thanks).
Am wondering if you and seven are talking about me? If so, my pic is last Christmas and my daughter is sitting beside me. I cut her out because this is the 'net. Not that any of this has anything to do with scripture here.

Im not fake.

you just said god knew. how did we get to know what god did.

i would like to remind you, jesus did not, killed him self, if your born under an old covenant , you will be on, trail with that law.

Jesus Foretells His Death
21 And he strictly charged and commanded them to tell this to no one,22 saying, "The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised."Luke 9
already happened complete (the above)

god also knew , and for told, they would kill jesus, with this law.

yet they wiped there lips , of the blood they spilled , with justification from this law, for there action. etc

strange thing, the logos, no body got to read this to after the bible went to print.(around 1300-1500 ad. )

if you posted today, i would like to remind you, your not born in a old covenant, for the simple fact, there is a new covenant in place now, if you do not understand, what the new covenant is, who s problem is that.

even read as wrote words. can speak to the logic of understanding. even if you do not know, what a new covenant is, it is still clear, there a new covenant in place.

15 Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.Hebrews 9

Can you tell me the difference between the Old or Mosaic Covenant and the New Covenant?

Is the difference that in the Old we sinned and were killed for it...

and in the New we can sin all we want to?

You say, No, we cannot sin all we want to.
I just know that you believe we cannot sin all we want to.

So, what's the difference??
