Dear SOF,

Just wondering who has ever said it's Jesus and the 10 commandments or Jesus and self? I think you may be misunderstanding what people are saying. I think they are saying if we have Jesus, and walk by faith, God will work in us to produce the fruits of obedience. We walk in him the same way that we received him by faith. But this time Gods commands become His promises as we believe His Word and He works in us to will and to do of His own good pleasure. This is salvation from sin and we receive it by faith in God's Word alone. This is the new Covenant of God's Laws being written in the believers heart (Heb 8:10-12) and now we follow Jesus because we love him.

God bless
Do you yourself not say Jesus, but you must observe sabbath? When Paul says one can is they desire to, or not?

Just a thought or a simple question which a lot here would surely avoid to answer:

WHAT IF ONE WHO CLAIMS TO BE SAVED ETERNALLY IS RICH, HAVING A LOT OF POSSESSIONS AND POWERFUL I WOULD SAY, AFTER BEING CHALLENGED TO PROVE HIS FAITH BY ADHERING TO THE WORD OF JESUS/GOD WRITTEN IN MATTHEW 19:16-26, IGNORES IT AND DIED THE NEXT DAY, IS HE STILL SAVE AS HE CLAIM IT AND THEREFORE NULLIFY THE VERY WORD OF JESUS/GOD?
You are just putting forth a hypothetical situation. One who has been born from above has already obeyed the gospel.

And We are drawn by the Lord to Him. Does He make mistakes about choosing? Does He not know the end from the beginning?

Is this scriptural that I just wrote?

If the Spirit of Christ, the anointing Holy Spirit has begun the good work in us to both will and do His good pleasure he will finish it to the day of the Lord, the last day

All saints die having not received the promise of a living faith. For who hopes for something the already have?. Because the first will be last He hid those whose names are not mentioned (Of whom the world was not worthy

(Of whom the world was not worthy they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: Heb 11:38

Those who are not looking for the promise have received thier reward.

A humble warning to those who think they need to hide out from the world especially now days when the closets are open (no discrimination) and those who should be going out hide in closets. It make me wonder that when he does come will he find faith or will it be in a closet.

Not necessary...making judgments of your own on what I am saying and they are erroneous. Just answer the post with your scripture to back it up.

Same to you seven. I can prove everything I said with the greek and the Hebrew. And if Paul were here...would you believe his revelation? Or call him mystical. After all, he went into heaven and received this right from our resurrected Lord.

I hear the HolySpirit within. Am fine tuned to His Spirit because I don't have my own doctrines that I deem to be truth. Or pet doctrines I should say. Then I look for it in the Word. I have no denominational ties or to any movement. I listen then look.

Anyone who will keep the goal of truth even if it scratches out all you might of thought before, He will give more and more revelation.

And most important...it's revelation of Jesus and His body.

FRANS RESPONSE:

Readers will judge for themselves if what I said was snarky.
I think it's a serious comment.

Re the academy awards...
You were thanking everyone and were afraid that you were forgetting someone.
I said it reminded me of Academy Awards.

You are very sensitive....!
It was a joke.

I'll try to avoid you in the future.
My response...or say what? would be more accurate

I don't read her posts because IMO, the only thing you gain is a better understanding of why I don't read her posts

obviously I did make comments regarding the posts on circumcising our hearts and how clean Jews were. I did that for the sheer obligation of pointing out that the Bible covers both topics rather differently than what she would have us believe

glancing over YOUR post, I caught something about 'seven' wherein it appeared I was getting some kind of rebuke that had also been given to you. I don't why you are being rebuked so I don't know what the rebuke is. I won't loose sleep over it.

now, since I read the rest of the post with personal interest, and having reflected on the contents, I believe I have something to add

Same to you seven. I can prove everything I said with the greek and the Hebrew. And if Paul were here...would you believe his revelation? Or call him mystical. After all, he went into heaven and received this right from our resurrected Lord.

Paul was given the stamp of approval by Jesus disciples who had spent their days with Jesus in actual proximity and knew Him . therefore, they accepted that Paul had been taught by the Spirit of Jesus, knowledge and revelation, prophecy and truth etc.
You stones? you obviously think very highly of yourself (I guess someone has to) and you appear to think the rest of us should submit to what you say BECAUSE you say this:

I hear the HolySpirit within
from that very telling comment, it appears that you alone believe you hear the Holy Spirit. By stating that you hear the Holy Spirit within, in the manner that you say that, you give yourself away.

you are not Jesus, you are not Paul and you are a loose cannon believing all kinds of bizarre winds of doctrines and you are a classical case of believing what you mistakenly apply to yourself personally or you would never define the Holy Spirit as your very own personal messenger, obviously excluding anyone who challenges your spiritual life that you have worked very hard to construct, by your own words, from extra-biblical sources.

again, from you

Am fine tuned to His Spirit because I don't have my own doctrines that I deem to be truth.
I have no denominational ties or to any movement. I listen then look.
lady, you are describing someone who is running wild on the range. you are eating both good grass and bad weeds

have you any idea of how pompous you sound in your post?

I post plenty, almost always include not only verses, but the reference for same

I don't see much of that from you because, I know I know, you have the Holy Spirit

spit on what I say, boast that you hear the Holy Spirit with the obvious meaning being that none of us do..that is those who do not bow down at your .. cough cough...superior 'revelations' and compare yourself to Paul

you just became about 30 degrees less believable than you were the last time I paid any attention to a post you created

and why don't I just finish this off with a 'He who has ears to hear, let him hear.'

and a don't waste your anger and self righteousness get out of hand here. I won't be answering you anyway. you insult anyone who does not belong to your koo koo karismatic klub...joyner, bentley, jenn and the gang

those are the ones you really identify with, not Paul

Thank you seven. The Lord bless you greatly in your walk with Jesus.

Just a correction. I was asking for you to please post scriptures in response to what I've posted rather than your own opinion.

I will listen to the Word as it's presented in context.

Hi SOF,

No not at all, God's Word says we must follow the Sabbath not me. Some people twist the scriptures like the Jews did in the time of Jesus to break the commandments of God so that they could follow the teachings and traditions of man over the Word of God. You can read about it here (Matt 15:3-9). Sunday worship is a teaching and tradition of man over the Word of God. It has no basis in God's Word. It is one of God's commandments if we break it we break God's Law. If we ignore God's Word that makes us an "Unbeliever". Back latter

God bless

for anyone else reading the exchange above

I have never said anything close to what some try to proclaim

I have never stated I hear the Holy Spirit so therefore you are beneath me so I will rebuke you

I do disagree, VERY much, with all this, what I am calling Koo Koo Karismatic beliefs

this would include the school of the prophets, bethel church, joyner, bentely and the whole kit. they are all growing from the same demonic source and do not be deceived, these creepy false prophets, teachers and apostles, are not led by the Holy Spirit. I did not say they never received the Holy Spirit. somewhere along the line, they listened to another spirit and are now caught up in false things that are not biblical and not of God

this is supposed to be a discussion forum. I would hope no one thinks my word is the final one as someone else just suggested their words were

this is nonsense and all this liking and taking sides is nothing more than a popularity contest

however, the Bible is still God's inspired word and the Holy Spirit is in every believer but I would, quite frankly and personally, stay away from those who seem to think the rest of us are not saved because we do not have the Holy Spirit

that's my opinion and be a good Berean.

It was the same Spirit of Christ who spoke in both cases. If any man does not have the Sprit of Christ they do not belong to him. A person cannot abide in Christ if they do not have the Spirit of Christ .that person is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If any man does have the Spirit of Christ they will not come into condemnation.
Amen and there is but one correct message concerning biblical salvation......not two or more.....!

The value of something in someone's mind is equal to what they are willing to pay to receive it as their own and be with them.

Here is how much value our Father has towards us because He sent the Lord Jesus Christ to redeem us so that we could be with Him forever.

And look at what His intentions are towards us for all those ages to come.

Ephesians 2:4-7 (NASB)
[SUP]4 [/SUP] But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,

[SUP]5 [/SUP] even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

[SUP]6 [/SUP] and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

[SUP]7 [/SUP] so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

This is the true revealed heart of our loving Father.

The word Sabbath with no other added means "rest". .It does not mean Saturady a time senitive word .Any day a person does not harden their hearts when they hear the voice of God they have entered the eternal rest which will be fulliflied when they receive thier new bodies. Fasting twice on the Sabbath does not make a person more holy than one that fast once. It the kind of fast the disciples knew not of and therfore could not cast out the lying spirits (legion) .

Not the true fast by which we can be heard on High. Adding to the word rest with a time sentitive word only shows the paraphrasers had the wrong kind of fast in mind, the kind that could not drive out the lying spirits

Luk 18:12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

Sabbath not week.

Ignoring the warning not to add to a word (singular) is not walking by faith

Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word (singular) which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it(singular), that ye may keep the commandments(plural) of the LORD your God which I command you.

Will look at that scripture.

Mat 15:3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

Mat 15:4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.

Mat 15:5 But ye say, Whosoever shall say to hisfather or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;

Mat 15:6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

Mat 15:7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,

Mat 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

Mat 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching fordoctrines the commandments of men.

The commandments are good. But, the way of the at work in our being is not by law. Law can only control the man of flesh. One who wants to please Father and values the sacrifice of Jesus, is only the born again. Otherwise the Word will just be line upon line, precept upon precept. Here a little, there a little.

This is not the new living relationship with Jesus through Holy Spirit, and we were never Jews to begin with.

Paul said the Jews may observe sabbath in their synagogues if they so wish. But, the church met in homes, and it seems to me that I read it as the first day.

I would have to look to be sure.

Jesus is our Sabbath rest, and we sit down in the heavenlies with His Victory. And our land that we are looking for is heaven.

plus we are led by His Spirit, hear His Voice, believe His prophets. This is part of being of His body on earth.

its not hard...why the stumbling, I don't understand.

[SUP]39 [/SUP]But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.

Paul answered Stephens question.

We (those born again) are not those who draw back and insult the grace of God, We are those who believe TO THE SAVING OF THE SOUL.

Paul is warning people among them who may claim to be part of the church, But had not yet took that complete step of faith..

Amen....this will be rejected by workers for and salvation keepers....Just like Judas, the bible states he was a devil from the beginning yet they say he was saved and then lost it............

A new stanza comes to mind reading the workers for and salvation keepers.....sung to Amazing grace

Amazing works that I must do
To help the savior save me
I once was lost and still might be
Because I trusted fully not in thee

I'm tired and must leave.
I'll just say this.

Read John 3 when Jesus is speaking to Nicodemus.
What does Jesus tell him about the Kingdom.

WHY DO YOU THINK JESUS CAME HERE????
To completely save sinners who have no ability to save themselves and or even help save themselves by works......ahhhhhh the simplicity that is found in Jesus....called greasy popcorn grace by those who really don't need a savior hecause they keep themselves saved.....

Thats fine too. But, I'm not muzzled unless the Lord tells me to be quiet. So far He hasn't.
Amen.......the original working for religion attempted to silence the truth as well by murdering some 60 to 80 million during the dark ages...
