Ahhh yes, but if we could see it we would know from where it came and to where it goes from wherever we stand on this planet :D

But we cannot, just like we cannot see when someone is born again which was my point initially.

Thanks for the science lesson though ....I think I did learn that in grade ten but that was a few years back. :)

You may be pretty useless in the field of life but you would still be saved. Amen

The only way anyone is saved or kept saved is faith in Jesus which creates a living and active relationship with God via the Holy spirit.

To be saved is to have that relationship with God....without it, you aren't truly saved.

Faith is the only thing that is need to be saved and stay saved.

However salvation is more than faith in Jesus. It is an active and living relationship with God.

2 Peter 1 tells us to add to our faith and the end result is love as Jesus loves.

See, when something is true, it can be proven by BOTH Jesus first and also Paul.

I know you won't be able to because IT'S NOT TRUE.

But I tire of posting scripture on it. Maybe Tomorrow someone else can.

Because they contain the word BELIEVE.

Do you know what BELIEVE MEANS in the Greek?

Those verses are not valid.

Unless there's a new meaning for BELIEVE that is not known...

As well, the second verse is not about how one gains eternal life.

Some people believe being saved means you get into heaven instead of going to hell,but that is only part of it.

Salvation isn't about tomorrow, but today. How God changes your heart and mind so that you are freed from the lies and snares of this world Today.

Salvation is about learning that you are a child of God and how much God loves you and how you can love others because of His love and forgiveness.

Jesus taught us not to worry about tomorrow because enough is the evil we have to deal with Today.

Salvation is about having a humble and contrite heart open to being taught God's true and able to have compassion for sinners because we are that God had compassion and mercy upon us.

Salvation is about learning God's truth and all doctrine should pass the "fruit of the Spirit" test.....does it make you more loving, patient,kind,gentle, promote self control,etc?

Does the doctrine cause you to be bitter and fight and be contentious?

For example, Paul said that people could eat meat or not based upon their conscience. Both could do it for God's glory and should not judge and condemn the other person.

OK.

So here's what happened.

We all were having a very nice conversation here.
§Very enjoyable, I must say.
Actually talking about scripture and God and His love, etc.

Then Dcon shows up.
Starts with those snipets of his. Always directed at me.
I guess because he'd just love me to be on his team, but he ain't gettin' me.

Then, all of a sudden, all his girls come to the rescue.
Never knew a man that needed so much help.
And girls help.
And he used to be a marine.
Incredible.

So, I demand that he prove what he says.
But he can't. Why? BECAUSE JESUS NEVER SAID WHAT DCON TEACHES.

He teaches a FALSE GOSPEL.
Very Dangerous indeed.

Maybe next time he shows up he'll have some scripture.
I doubt it though. Really. It doesn't exist.

No it's not about how one gains salvation but it explains why God saves us....he has a purpose for our lives and we have a job He entrusts us to do.

I find that reassuring and like the idea that my life has a God designed purpose...all I have to do is walk with Him,grow and He will reveal what He would have me to do in this world and with my life....

I thought everyone would rejoice at that idea....don't you find it comforting that God has a purpose for each of our lives?
