PS. 101:3.
I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside;
it shall not cleave to me.
1JOHN 2:16.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life,
is not of The Father, but is of the world.
once again establishing the obvious,but ultimately irrelevant,plenty know it is wrong to lust or get greedy,or watch something foolish,but just because someone does so has no bearing on whether they serve God or not,I watch some adult anime once in awhile,but it doesn't sway me from serving God,as I said before anything can become one's idol,or simply be a sin,but it doesn't define the person think of Saul later named Paul he killed followers of God even imprisoned followers of God,yet Jesus humbled him and used him for a righteous cause,it seems you think that the presence of sin is avoidable,as you will soon see as we get closer to judgement day sin will become more and more difficult to even keep from"seeing" but "seeing" is not the same as "acting" upon foolishness,yes indeed I'm aware in the bible that it is written"he who looks upon a woman with lust has committed adultery in his heart",so you see "lust" makes the difference,even if a woman came up to a man naked or multiple women just him "seeing" such nakedness does not defile a man immediately,"lusting" over the women and not seeking to remove himself from the situation is when the man would be turning against God as well as if he were married committing adultery,merely "seeing" foolishness is not enough to tear anyone from God,it's when one takes no action to remove themself from a foolish situation or they partake in such foolishness,that their servitude to God comes into question,is watching certain anime inappropriate and sinful?
Yes it is but remember once one is "in God's hand noone nor nothing can pluck them out from his hand"
are we to keep from sin?
Yes
will our flesh entice us to act on desires of the flesh?
Yes
so you see God understands when you have times of the flesh afflicting,and a person possibly seeking things like anime or sexual based shows/movies,but ultimately afterward it's when you feel no remorse for your actions that God is ashamed of us,like me though I'm a "physical" virgin,it doesn't mean I haven't seen some form of explicit content or had fantasies or backslidings mostly of the flesh,but whatever the backsliding I apologize to God for my wrong doings sincerely and I would like more than most anything to have "no fleshy desires" but unfortunately it is something we "All" endure in our lives,sure there are ways to keep from such things for weeks or months perhaps even eventually years,but so long as we are in the flesh the flesh shall be against us,just the same as our thoughts,but after giving our lives to God we can at the very least keep from certain things,like I for one do not cuss anymore,I have never smoked,drank alcohol,or abused drugs,but my one sin that bothers me eventually no matter how long I with stand it,is my fleshy desire toward women even though I don't want this I cannot deny it has been a factor in my life,but in the grand scheme of things I would rather be stuck with this one sin,than have anymore added to it,I believe that everyone has one sin in the back of their mind that troubles them for they have given it the greatest part in their life,for me it's annoying fleshy desires(no brainer I'm a virgin of course my flesh wants me to defile myself on impulse but I choose otherwise),for others it could be drunkenness,drug abuse,nicotine dependency,cussing/cursing,seeking worldly things above caring for family,adultery,vanity,etc etc,Yes through Jesus we are new creatures but it doesn't mean we don't "endure daily"'to keep from sins that we have "given our time" in the past,but as long as we keep our "focus" upon God we need not worry so about things we "see" or "hear",or times that we backslide what matters is that we keep moving forward for God,and not dwelling upon what ifs,none of us are perfect and can't expect to do perfectly for God,but it because we realize our weaknesses that we believe upon and work for God,by all accounts if I were to count how many times I've backslidden especially concerning "seeing" fleshy things,then I would think I couldn't have the holy spirit,but since God sees fit for me to still have the holy spirit,I'll keep doing what he asks of me,because I know I'm sinful,but I also know that I am to serve God despite such sins.
