Her profile says "saved at birth". That's impossible, so she's NOT a Christian because she isn't saved..

But you say you are a Christian on your profile page and God is supernatural, demons are supernatural, and angels are supernatural. Doesn't that cause problems with your worldview if you believe otherwise since you have stated there that you are a Christian. Seems confusing to me. Thanks. God bless. :)

Really? With all the exorcism movies that show catholic priests doing their thing. You would think Catholics would be the largest group of Christians that did believe in it.

True but then again those are mainly movies in real life exorcisms are extremely rare and only a very last resort and usually requires things to get so bad there is no denying it's supernatural.

But the Catholics I know are very close minded to the supernatural. There is a Catholic church I visited a while back they were very strict on their teachings and traditions and would get upset with you if you argued against them. When i spoke about some of the spiritual encounters i have had I just got a stern look and was told to throw that kind of nonsense out of my mind and that God does not visit people and angels do not appear before man.

But not all Catholics are the same maybe it's just that particular church i visited

Yeah I know there just movies. Maybe Catholics are changing to a more scientific approach where in the past they said science was evil.

What i never understood was why always the Catholics? in every movie or story i have ever seen about exorcism's or demonic possession I always see a catholic priest never a Christian
Also the reason they normally have to have things go that bad before they do an exorcism is the vast amount of people that cried wolf when there was always a logical explanation

Because with a born again believer it would be a very short movie. In the name of Jesus, and the end of the movie.

Yup. So very, very true. In my personal experience I remember a time when a visitor came to our church and she manifested a demon in front of the congregation after my pastor prayed for her. She kept throwing herself at my pastor and kept trying to bite my pastor. A leader in the church grabbed the 60 something year old lady by the arm.

I jumped from my seat and grabbed the lady from the other arm and my pastor cast that thing out after a couple of minutes. The lady did some growling, obscene gestures with her mouth. Kept trying to get loose and she was strong but God was stronger. I had no fear on my part. I believe the word of God is true. Lady had no clue what happened.

Turns out she was Catholic. I'm not judging but there are some things about the Catholic religion that runs contradictory to Scripture. The truth is the truth. I've been researching some of their traditions and they are way off the mark. That's why knowing the word is so important otherwise we run the risk of being lead astray.

It wasn't my first either. In addition to those I've had other weird experiences even as a kid. Just recently told my bf of an odd thing that happened to me as a kid that I kept quiet for years. God has a funny way of preparing us. This stuff used to scare the carp (yes, I said carp, as in the fish. Lol) out of me and now I just don't have that fear anymore. God takes our greatest fears and trials and sometimes turns it into one of our greatest weapons and victories. It's amazing to see God in action in our lives.

His ways are not our ways for certain!
John Wimbers videos from the Signs and Wonders conference in 1985 are still relevant in how
He works today. It is worth a google search and the time it takes to watch, learn and grow from them.

I have experienced many spiritual happenings as well many of which I have kept quit about, normally i am quite open to speaking about the spiritual encounters and happenings I go through but a lot of times there are experiences I keep to myself mainly because the responses i get from people can vary. some will think I'm insane others say I should be on a show called it's supernatural. no idea what the show is though it sounds like a ghost hunting show or something lol. Also i fear I may be a bit to open of them as it is here is on cc i sometimes wonder if I irritate people

Peter reached a point where the people would lay the sick out along the path he took to go to the temple, close enough his shadow might fall on the and they would be healed.
The Book of Acts is normal Christianity, for many reasons we have missed it for a couple thousand years.

That time is coming again and is in fact at our door as we speak

Blain, I feel the same way. My suggestion is to ask God whether to share something or not. Also, always be aware that someone will get offended somehow and don't ever be ashamed of the gospel or the supernatural that goes with it. As long as you're living by what Scripture says then you are living as you should. Remember that there are many of us that have experienced these things so you're not alone. And that show people have told you about, I used to watch it years ago before I got right with the Lord. They have some seriously out there episodes. I wouldn't suggest you watch it but I get why people might say you should be on it. Lol. Anyways, if you ever feel the need to share some of those strange things, feel free to PM me.

I believe that most things supernatural exist..Not just because its written but from seeing it. Tho I sure as hell dont believe in everything.. I believe that miracles happen, healing, people wake up from the dead, demons manifest etc.
BUT I do NOT believe in Aliens,UFOs and crazy fancy stuff like that.
Well Aliens, UFOs and crazy fancy stuff like that is not obviously supernatural, even if they are demons...They are not extraterrestrial...

after 'conversion', we are definitely made aware of the 'super-natural' realm,
the Good and the bad...

If you are your super-natural self then your life becomes more super-natural, it just goes to show that the natural self which is physically bonded to the body and mind, does not.

We were all born in the image of God, we were all born with a super-natural self, a higher self, an invisible self, an energetic rather than inert self, that is closer to spirit, but only when we choose to live by that path after having 'fallen into adulthood' do we realise it exists. And most never get out of adulthood and it's fantasies and fabrications about what truth is and what is the truth and how these ideas 'group together' defining truth in numbers.

The truth is not necessarily something you search for and find, it is somewhat remembering, remembering who you really are, a child of God, and you always were a child of God no matter what you have done, or where you have been, or how you were hurt, or why you doubted your self.
