This was before Pentecost Dcon. Now we have dunamis. We have differing opinions on this board about Pentecost and when it happens. For me, it is separate events, but can happen together. The new birth and the baptism I mean.

The Spirit of Christ is the new birth. I know this does cause some anger, but is what I see in scripture. Right now there are people born again, receiving Pentecost. All over the world. And there are others receiving both simultaneously. No set pattern, but one knows when they are empowered.

Sorry...but is how I see it.

Except for the fact that Paul speaks to the same conflict AFTER the 50th day.......

d. Was chosen by Jesus so scripture could be fulfilled

He was NEVER SAVED AND LOST IT!

We were guest speaking in a service a few weeks ago and the worship leader and her team took the platform and she asked me to take the pulpit before they sang one song....her hubby is the pastor of the church and we minister with them many items a year....I took the platform and we just did nothing...no music , no nothing...no gifts manifesting, nothing....within 5 minutes the Spirit responded to our "worship" people were getting touched in their chairs...and not one pastor or leader had to raise a finger or their voice...we stayed in that place for 2 hours and then I dismissed....no music was ever played nothing...but the Spirit brooding/and loving and ministering to his people...it was great experience for the 12-35 year old in the house....

We are call to bask in his presence over the atmosphere.....The children of Israel never learned this...only 3 had presence and the glory...all others had atmosphere....

Nothing you say.....interesting......the worship of God is done in spirit and IN TRUTH......it is the preaching of the word of God that is the worship of God...not mumbo jumbo bouts of NOTHING!!!!!!!! and much less this modern freak show of back flipping down the isle and muttering, stuttering mumbo jumbo charismatic side show........

I think this is called the "Holy Hush". The overwhelming presence of Holy Spirit in the room. It is awesome to experience and it's a sobering experience. No back flips.

Also is a repenting...I would say deep repentance. You just have to be there.

Sometimes I feel like you think Jesus didn't know what He was doing.

Why do you suppose Jesus kept Judas with Him all those years?

Judas was lost.
Became saved when he was with Jesus.
And by not obeying and trusting Jesus, and trying to help Him, Judas ended up betraying Him.

Why would Judas kill himself except for grief in harming Jesus, whom he loved.

We know he was lost in the end because Jesus said so.

You don't have to put up with this kind of thing Jim. Others could lay hands on you and pray. We should have a clear mind. That is what the thorns on the head of Jesus brought to mankind. He bore all our our troubled thoughts. And they really are just lies.

I went through a time like that...capturing thoughts and then would imagine a garbage can. Put the thought into the can and slammed the lid down. That's what that scripture means about capturing those thoughts. You might have another way of dealing with them though.

I remember the end of this...I actually heard them screaming..."she knows the truth" The more I learned of the scriptures, the more I quoted back to the thought. That worked the best. I can't be tormented this way anymore.

That was a long time ago. And I used a Ouija board when I was a kid. Dont' let kids do this!

Lies are thoughts that speak into our minds. Like what you were saying in that post. God won't hear you. Or forgive. I can't remember exactly what you said. (I said this wrong) They speak lies into our minds.

But, demons do have some kind of substance and can touch one. They hate Jesus. And Jesus in us.

Truth however, will stop them from attacking. No rights to do so. You need to see this.

Yet, you puff yourself up, think yourself to be the one correct with your pet dogmas that denounce everyone unlike you.

You've insulated yourself from correction of every form that I've seen.

Your posts have numerous infractions of Scripture. You posts are neither loving, gentle, or kind.

You preach the need for good works, but I rarely see any from you.

You are the one who is deceived.

And I'm done casting my pearls before you.

I suggest you take a GOOD hard look at your life and examine yourself to discover which one of the gospel characters you would be.

Show your posts to people who you are accountable to in your life. And you if don't have anyone, I suggest you get one.

We are not called to walk alone, but to walk together. So I pray that you have someone that can help you with whatever root of bitterness you are deceived by.
