satan did not have satan to tempt him. Humans did. I think God recognizes this fact, and that is why He became a HUMAN, not a an angel, or nephilim, to die for OUR iniquity.
Everything you posted is fine with me, but help me out here, because I am not understanding the above part?

The Bible said that iniquity was found in Satan heart because he wanted to exalt himself over God....this was his sin, rebellion and pride this happen before he fell, so it happened in Heaven....so how does humans tempting him come into play?

Yes and amen, and you are welcome, Rosemary :) I thought the opening lines especially appropriate for you after I read some of your earlier posts from today, having to go back several pages to do so, and that was a couple of hours ago, and more pages have accumulated since. My goodness this is a hopping thread LOL :) I love Matt Maher for the music he makes for the Lord. Here is another I hope you enjoy, also :D

Lovely :)...I do not understand what has happened today, something has changed and i can`t put my finger on it...When i have fell back to alcohol in the past, i wake up so full of remorse and shame that the condemnation from the devil has had me laid up in bed for at least 5 days, my energy is normally flat, and i spend my days in Psalms crying to God for the hurt of my disobedience towards Him...But today has been so different, He has given me energy to get through the day, i had my bath, made lunch, been on this thread which has been full of the Holy Spirit and pure Joy:)...I have napped, woke up and ready for dinner, i have not been listening to the evil one, instead i have been reading out Scripture of who i am in Christ, i have no guilt or shame on me as i type, i think it may be because i have trusted in the Lord today instead of looking at my sin...And i must say a big shout out to ALL those people today on the thread that let me bring my sin in here, people have helped me so much, your support has reached me with love...\o/ Praise God...Love you all...xox...

I agree with the premise of this - I think it might be more accurate to say - to build on the foundation that is not laid in Christ's work alone which is by grace through faith - our building will be off.

From the bottom - up.

I do like the shirt analogy though...:)..

I resolve them exactly how I did in my above post. If one does not abide/continue and grow in trust, they are cut off, but He has never done anything but increase my trust, so why would I then distrust that He will keep doing so? If He had ever failed to keep increasing and growing my trust, I might have reason to fear He may stop, but He has never decreased my trust, never once, He has only ever grown it, so to see that He has faithfully done this makes me not fear the verse but instead trust Him more! It gives me MORE security, not LESS!
So your saying that if a person does not do the work of abiding and growing they will be cut off..lol..

Which is what I said to begin with, so again we are back at square one.. lol

How can God fail anyone to the point they will stop abiding, and lose salvation?

I agree! He can be trusted!

He promised he would continue the work until the day of christ,

If that is true, how can anyone be cut off?

I still do not think you see the problem we have which saying people can be cut off.

You have made me bald brother! I have no more hair to pull on! :D

Look at my post again and see if you can pinpoint where I have said I am doing the work of growing my trust.

lol.. Look at what you are saying,

If a person does not abide and grow, he will be cut off. (lets take you out of the equation, and look at the verse in question, You say this is possible and if a person does this, they will go to hell)

If this is true, does this not put the onus on the person and not in God, who promised he will never fail?

I am talking about the verse only.. Not you..

Hebrews Chapter 6

4 For [it is] impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put [him] to an open shame

That was warfare you were in. He gained you the victory and you have grown in trust of all He promised. He gave you the ground the enemy of your soul was trying to take back by getting you to fear again instead of trust Him more and more.

Whenever we begin to fear again instead of trust and believe that we are forgiven and loved, we are in the warfare. That IS what spiritual warfare is. It's a clamoring that seeks to get us to fear instead of believe and trust. Our trust in Him is how we overcome. So it stands to reason that our trust is what would be strongly come at.
