Also recently I involve in the discussion about salvation, the verses that you give me, reaffirm, that If you do not have love, mean you not born from God and It mean you not save.
Can your dream below be trying to reprove your conclusion from the scripture above?
How do you know the different between dream from the Lord or from you own think?
The last 3 hour I, sleep, but oN and off, every time I sleep I dream, and for 3 time I dream about the same story.
on those dream I heard some body Said, only 2 type of people, people WHO have Love or not.
please give a comment.
What if a saved believer have love for one, but not for another? So is it really about salvation or is it about knowing when a saved believer is abiding in Him as they ought to be in living as His disciple when showing love towards others?
A saved believer can have love and thus have loved and then there are people whom have never loved which wuld be unbelievers.
1 John 4:[SUP]19 [/SUP]We love him, because he first loved us.[SUP]20 [/SUP]If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?[SUP] 21 [/SUP]And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
It is because we do love God that sometime, we are tempted to not love our brother, and so that is why we are commanded to love our brother. We love God only because He has loved us first. Therefore as love is a fruit of the Spirit along with patience and longsuffering, we are to love our brother even when they are our enemies.
So I do not believe scripture is given to expose fake believers or anything like that, but to correct and to exhort believers to lean on Him to love others... since we loved Him because He first loved us, and so He will supply the love we need to love others when it is not in our flesh to love, especially when our brothers or sisters are our enemies.
Jesus set the example for us;
1 Peter 2:[SUP]19 [/SUP]For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.[SUP]20 [/SUP]For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.[SUP] 21 [/SUP]For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:[SUP] 22 [/SUP]Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:[SUP] 23 [/SUP]Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:[SUP]24 [/SUP]Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.[SUP]25 [/SUP]For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
But yet when a brother is caught in a trespass, we are to tell them privately their fault... if he doubts the word, then bring two or three more witnesses to confirm the word; but if he simply just refuse to repent, then excommunicate the brother. But if he asks for forgiveness, then he is to be welcomed back into fellowship again.
Matthew 18:[SUP]13 [/SUP]And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.[SUP] 14 [/SUP]Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.[SUP] 15 [/SUP]Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.[SUP] 16 [/SUP]But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.[SUP]17 [/SUP]And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.
So this is why we are not of the letter and we are to trust Jesus Christ as our Good Shepherd to guide us in all situations since He is in us and is with us always.
thanks brother, I am in the position to decide whether to keep helping a needy or stop. There is a homeless family stay with me, They promise only a week, but allready more than a month, I my self low income, I am thinking to ask them to go, but his wife is sick now. May be God tell me to consider.
Since they had broken their promise, which they should not have promised in the first place for who can plan for tomorrow?
James 4:[SUP]13 [/SUP]Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:[SUP] 14 [/SUP]Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.[SUP] 15 [/SUP]For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.[SUP] 16 [/SUP]But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.[SUP]17 [/SUP]Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
You may have to start assigning chores for them to do in and around the house, except when they are sick, of course.
Paul was setting the example as a visiting missionary in trying to reprove the practice of some visiting missionary that were hardly working in doing their fair share around the house where they were staying but being out and about being busybodies in other people's affairs.
2 Thessalonians 3:[SUP]8 [/SUP]Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:[SUP] 9 [/SUP]Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.[SUP]10 [/SUP]For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.[SUP] 11 [/SUP]For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.[SUP] 12 [/SUP]Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.[SUP] 13 [/SUP]But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.[SUP] 14 [/SUP]And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.[SUP]15 [/SUP]Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
They really should have set goals to you and say "God be willing...He shall help us achieve our goals." Since they are well beyond the time they had said they would be staying, they should give updates to you of the status in their lives and of hopeful prospects to show they have been active and still active in trying to be out from under your shelter.
I do not know what it is like in your country if there are any churches that offers food for the poor in your area, but trust Jesus Christ as your Good Shepherd to direct your foot steps in the way you should go.
