You are failing to recognise the Melchizadek priesthood, which is the picture if not the actual picture of the Son of God, and the sons of God being the priests and kings of the High Priest, Jesus.

The Levitical priesthood is no more. No temple.

Whether or or not it will actually be again remains to be seen.
Wow, Did I not just explain the Levitical Priesthood is gone? Can you please show me in this post where I failed to recognize the Melchizadek priesthood?

Gen. 26:4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

Where did Abraham get these if not from the High Priest of that time.

Gen. 14:18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.
19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:

Gen. 22:8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

I would say Abraham knew full well who the High Priest was, and what He would do for the world, and before your claim, so did I.

But how did you come to the conclusion that I don't know who Melchizedek is, or that I still believe the Levitical Priesthood with it's "Works of the Law" for remission of sins are still here.

Where on earth have I ever stated or even suggested such a thing. I have read my post over several times and can not find even one thing that could have given you this idea. I must have missed something.

Please let me know so I can avoid such a ridiculous and untrue claim about my beliefs in the future.

And through Him everyone who believes is freed from all things, from which you could not be freed through the Law of Moses.

Because the LAW proves guilt and does not justify.......

Thats just the first step. The second it to take a witness, Bringing it in front of the church is the LAST RESORT, when ALL OTHER FORMS of discipleship have failed to bring about a repentant heart on the issue.

Peter went for the throat. Trying to discipline something that affected no one in the chat room. And everyone knows it was not with the right intensions, it was like a kid who had dirt on this bully he he has been trying to destroy for months, and he spouts off without investigating first. The problem is it came back to bite him.
Amen! Thank you E-grateful this is an excellent summery of what happened here
"that never should have happened."

Probably from just scanning your post, for which I apologize. I saw Levitical priesthood, and my eyes rolled back in my head. Please forgive?

Was just a bit tired of religious writings and I don't really know you yet.

Haha! My mother says: If you are getting dressed and someone accidentally walks in and you are under 50, they should apologize to you. But if you are over 50, you need to apologize to them. :D
And third just rolled in...for me that is. :)

so, you want to talk about being perfect until someone properly defines it, then you want to change the subject.
how about , you know, being truthful, which would be a part of being perfectly righteous , and admit you were proven wrong.
but, in todays world, I guess to expect someone who names the name of Christ to tell the truth is asking too much.....
In my concordance, besides the word "complete" is also the word "perfect"
Why did the poster miss that?
He seemingly has an agenda that includes retaining sin in his life.

As for "naming the name of Christ", isn't it written..."Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity." (2 Tim 2:19)
